Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to a golf training equipment and, more specifically, to a combination putting green for golf putting training.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] Various artificial putting greens are known for golf putting training. Conventional artificial putting greens commonly have a base, a ball path provided at the base, and a hole in interior end of the ball path. When in use, the player puts the ball toward the hole. [0009] FIG. 5 is a sectional view taken along line 5-5 of FIG. 1, and FIG. 6 is a backside view of the prefer embodiment of the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0010] Referring to FIGS. from 1 through 6, a combination putting green for golf putting training is shown comprised of a base 10, a ball path unit 20, a goal 30, an inductor unit 40, a speaker 50, a circuit system (not shown), and a power supply 60.

[0011] Referring to FIG. 1 again, the base 10 is a disk-like element that can be put on the ground. The base 10 has two hollow convex blocks 11 and 12 at two sides. Each of the convex blocks 11 or 12 have a storage chamber 111 or 121 therein (shown in FIG. 6). Each of the convex blocks 11 or 12 has a sloping outer surface, when a ball runs over the convex block 11 or 12, it immediately rolls out of the base 10.

[0012] Referring to FIGS. 1 through 4 again, the ball path unit 20 is disposed at the topside of the base 10. The ball path unit 20 has a front path 21 at front side of the base 10, a main path 22 attached on the front path 21 at rear side thereof, two side paths 24 at lateral sides of the front path 21 respectively, and a back path 26 at rear side of the main path 22. A main supporting device 221 is fixed at the bottom side of the front path 21 below the main path 22. The main supporting device 221 has a slot 222 at distal end thereof for engaging to a supporting base 23, which is a rod element in the present embodiment, on the base 10. Thus, the main supporting device 221 can be turned in a predetermined angle range for changing the slope of the main path 22. Each of the side paths 24 respectively disposes with a side supporting device 241 at bottom side thereof. Similarly, the side supporting devices 241 are to rotatable engage to supporting bases 25 on the base 10 respectively for changing the slopes of the side paths 24.

[0013] Referring to FIGS. 1 and 5 again, the goal 30 is provided at the rear side of the main path 22. The goal 30 is a cup-like element in the present embodiment adapted to receive a ball. The goal 30 has a smoothly arched face 31 at front side thereof. After the ball touching the goal 30, it will rolls to the back path 26 along the smoothly arched face 31.

[0014] Referring to FIG. 6 again, the detecting unit 40 has three press-typed inductors 41, 42 and 43, two of which 41 and 42 are respectively provided at the supporting bases 25 of the base 10 below the side paths 24, and the other one of which 43 is mounted inside the goal 30. When the ball touched the goal 30 or runs over the side path 24, the inductors 41, 42 or 43 will be activated.

[0015] Referring to FIGS. 1 and 6 again, the speaker 50 is installed in the storage chamber 111 of one convex block 11. The convex block 11 has openings 14 thereon corresponding to the speaker 50. When the inductor 41, 42 or 43 is activated, the speaker 50 will broadcast specific audio message.

[0016] Referring to FIG. 6, the power supply 60 is installed in the storage chamber 121 of the other convex block 12, which has a battery case 61, and battery cells 62 to be installed in the battery case 61. Through the aforesaid circuit system, the power supply 60 provides the necessary working power to the detecting unit 40 and the speaker 50.

[0017] The aforesaid circuit system is installed in the storage chamber 111 of one convex block 11, forming with the detecting unit 40, the speaker 50 and the power supply 60 a loop.

[0018] Referring to FIGS. from 1 through 6 again, when a ball runs through the front path 21, the main path 22 and touches the goal 30, the main inductor 41 under the main path 22 will be activated to drive the speaker 50 broadcasting a audio message, such as “Good Job!” or the like to encourage the player. After touched the goal 30, the ball will roll out of the base 10 along the back path 26. If a ball misses the goal 30 and rolled over the side path 24, it will activate the inductor 42 or 43 thereunder. In the meantime, the speaker 50 will broadcast a message, such as “You Miss It!” or the like. After that, the ball will roll out of the base 10. If a ball runs to the convex block 11 or 12, it immediately rolls out of the base 10. Therefore, there is no ball accumulated on the combination putting green during practice, and the player can continuously practice putting. Player can change the slopes of the main path 22 and the side paths 24 by means of turning the supporting devices 221 and 241 and the sound effect design attract people to practice putting.

[0019] A prototype of combination putting green for golf putting training has been constructed with the features of FIGS. 1˜6. The combination putting green for golf putting training functions smoothly to provide all of the features discussed earlier.

[0020] Although a particular embodiment of the invention has been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Accordingly, the invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.
