Method of producing metal rod of a blind
A method of producing metal rod of a blind consists of a number of processing steps wherein a metal board is first roller pressed with a pattern-surfaced roller to produce decoration patterns thereon, the metal board with decoration patterns disposed thereon is then further pressed and bent to have a multiple of equidistant folding lines defined thereon, and, finally, the metal board is bent via the folding lines and soldered up at both lateral edges thereof to obtain a polygonal metal rod with decoration patterns disposed thereon. The folding lines and decoration patterns thereof are arranged alternately without intersection thereof so that the decoration patterns will not be disfigured when said metal board is rolled up by the folding lines thereof, and the folding lines, distributing evenly the pressing force applied onto the metal board, will keep the polygonal metal rod of a blind into a straight line.
[0001] The present invention is related to a method of producing metal rod of a blind, consisting of several steps of processing thereof. First, a metal board is roller pressed via a pattern-surfaced roller to produce decoration patterns thereon. Then, said metal board is further roller pressed to define a multiple of equidistant folding lines thereon. Finally, upon a processing machine, said metal board is rolled up by said folding lines and soldered up at both lateral edges thereof to obtain a polygon metal rod with decoration patterns disposed thereon.
[0002] Please refer to FIG. 1 showing the processing procedure of a conventional metal rod of a blind. First, a metal board 1 is roller pressed via a pattern-surfaced roller to produce decoration patterns 11 thereon. Then, said metal board 1 is placed onto a machine platform and rolled up into a cylindrical body which is then soldered up at both lateral edges thereof to obtain a metal rod of blinds 10. There are several drawbacks to such conventional metal rod of a blind. First, while said metal rod 10 is roller pressed into a cylindrical body, said decoration patterns 11 disposed thereon are easily disfigured due to the pressing force thereof. Second, instead of a straight cylindrical body, said metal rod 10 is easily deformed in processing when the pressing force thereof is not evenly applied thereon. Third, said metal rod 10 thereof is shaped simply into a cylindrical body which, lacking variety in shape, is rather dull in appearance.
SUMMARY OF THE PRESENT INVENTION[0003] It is, therefore, the primary purpose of the present invention to provide a method of producing metal rod of a blind wherein said metal rod thereof having a multiple of folding lines defined thereon can be rolled up by said folding lines into a polygon metal rod, increasing the variety of said metal rod thereof.
[0004] It is, therefore, the secondary purpose of the present invention to provide a method of producing metal rod of a blind wherein said folding lines are arranged alternately with decoration patterns disposed at said metal rod thereon without intersection thereof, keeping said decoration patterns thereof complete in figures when said metal rod is folded up into a polygon metal rod thereof It is, therefore, the third purpose of the present invention to provide a method of producing metal rod of a blind wherein said folding lines thereof can ensure the pressing and folding forces thereof evenly applied onto said metal rod, shaping said metal rod into a polygon body of straight line.
[0005] It is, therefore, the fourth purpose of the present invention to provide a method of producing metal rod of a blind wherein said metal rod of blind, polygonal in shape and decorated with patterns thereon, is improved not only in appearance but also in its additional value and competitive in the market.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS[0006] FIG. 1 is a processing procedure of a conventional metal rod of blinds.
[0007] FIG. 2 is a processing procedure of the present invention.
[0008] FIG. 3 is a block flow chart of the processing procedure of the present invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS[0009] Please refer to FIG. 2. The present invention is related to a method of producing metal rod of a blind, consisting of a number of processing steps as follows:
[0010] First, a metal board 2 is roller pressed with a pattern-surfaced roller to produce decoration patterns 21 thereon.
[0011] Second, said metal board 2 with decoration patterns 21 disposed thereon is further pressed and bent via some rolling wheels to have a multiple of equidistant folding lines 22 defined thereon. Said folding lines 22 and decoration patterns 21 thereof are arranged alternately without intersection thereof.
[0012] Third, said metal board 2 thereof is located onto a processing machine to be bent and rolled via said folding lines 22 thereof. Both lateral edges of said metal board 2 are then soldered up to obtain a polygonal metal rod 20 with decoration patterns 21 disposed thereon as shown in the final step of FIG. 2.
