Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] 1. Field of the Invention

[0002] The present invention relates to a lifted type computer desk set and particularly to computer desk set in which a movable desk board can be lifted relative to a main desk board to reveal the keyboard for operation a computer or move backward to form a flat desk top.

[0003] 2. Description of Related Art

[0004] It is known that the computer has been popular over the ordinary families in addition to being an indispensable tool in all businesses in this information era. Due to various computerized equipment being available, the study room or the bedroom in a house are too limited to place the computer and related peripheries. Thus, it is a core problem to settle the computer and the related peripheries such that it is required to consider if the input device such as the keyboard or the mouse can be operated and if the space is available for reading and writing. Accordingly, the so-called computer desk set has been developed and made for the need.

[0005] The conventional computer desk set losses the function of a desk because of CRT display occupying most space of the desktop so that the manufacture has developed an under-desk type design of the computer desk set to keep the desktop flat and to avoid the harm of radiation at the same time. However, the under-desk type computer desk set has deficiencies in that the data material has to be passed over the display and leave it at a far front side or a lateral side between the user and the display. It results in the tired eyes of the user and fatigues and harms of the shoulder, the neck, the waist and the vertebrate after a long period of using.

[0006] Currently, there is a trend that the liquid crystal display is becoming the main stream of computer display. Hence, the under-desk type computer desk set has been incompatible with the needs. Usually, the small sized liquid crystal display is placed on the desktop next to a desk edge opposite to the user or clamped to the desk edge. While in use, the total distance between the user and the display is the depth of the desk and the pulled out portion of the keyboard rack such that the user is obliged to lean forward in order to see the typed data shown on the display. In this way, it is very easy to cause the over used eyes and the muscle fatigue resulting from incorrect posture.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0007] The crux of the present invention is to provide a lifted type computer desk set, which includes a desk body and a movable desk board. The desk body has a main desk board at the top thereof, a recess opening at the front side thereof and a keyboard rack at the lower side thereof and is supported with a leg device. The movable desk board has the size and the shape thereof corresponding to the recess opening and is pivotally connected to one or two lateral edges of the recess opening with a pivot part. A keyboard on the keyboard rack can be revealed while the movable desk board is lifted such that a sight distance to the display can be shortened.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0017] Referring to FIG. 1, a computer desk set with a movable desk board according to the present invention is basically comprised of a desk body 1, a movable desk board 2 and at least a pivot part 3.

[0018] Wherein, the desk body 1 at the top thereof is a main desk board 11 and the main desk board 11 at the front side thereof has a recess opening 111 for receiving the movable desk board 2. A keyboard rack 12 is fixedly disposed under the recess opening 111 for placing a keyboard A. The main desk board 11 at two opposite lower lateral sides thereof connects with a conventional leg part 13 for supporting the main desk board 11 so as to form the desk body 1. The leg part 13 as shown in FIG. 1 is provided with four leg posts 131 but it is noted that the leg part 13 provided with the leg posts 111 is an example only and any other leg part 13 possible to support the main desk board 11 or a support structure used for the partition screen in OA office furniture can be adopted.

[0019] The movable desk board 2 has a size with the shape thereof corresponding to the recess opening 111 so as to be inserted into the recess opening 111 and the movable desk board 2 is pivotally connected to one or two lateral edges of the recess opening 111 with the pivot part 3 respectively such that the movable desk board 2 can be lifted up or pressed down rotationally relative to the main desk board. Besides, in order to be flash with the main desk board 1 during closing the recess opening 111, the movable board 2 at the rear side thereof has an oblique board edge 21 to intersect with an oblique recess edge 112 at the rear side of the recess opening 111.

[0020] The pivot part 3 is composed of a pivot seat 31 and a bearing seat 32. The pivot seat 31 has a pivot post 311 to be inserted into a corresponding bearing hole 321 at the bearing seat 32 such that the pivot seat 31 can rotate with respect to the bearing seat 32. As soon as the pivot seat 31 and the bearing seat 32 are fixedly attached to the lateral sides of the movable board 2 in a way of corresponding to each other, the movable board 2 can perform the function of being lifted up or pressed down. Alternatively, the pivot part 3 can be the rotational shaft with a function of positioning stagnation, which is utilized in a notebook computer, so that it is possible for the movable board 2 to stagnate at a certain position as desire during the process of being lifted up or pressed down.

[0021] Referring to FIGS. 2A and 2B, a liquid crystal display B is placed at the rear side of the main desk board 11 and the movable desk board 2 can be lifted to reveal the keyboard rack 12 under the front side of the main desk board 11 before the computer being started such that the user can operate the keyboard A directly without pulling out the keyboard rack 12. Because the keyboard A is flush with or disposed deeper inside than the front side of the main desk board 11 and occupies little space, the sight distance can be reduced during the computer desk set of the present invention is used so that harms such as over used eyes and fatigued muscle can be diminished effectively.

[0022] In order to promote the work efficiency and to utilize the limited space effectively, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the movable desk board 2 at the rear side thereof is possible to be mounted with a reading shelf 4 for holding books or documents different in size and thickness so as to facilitate reading or data recording or typing. The reading shelf 4 provides two guide rods mounted to the rear side of the movable desk board 2 in parallel with a gap formed between the movable desk board 2 and each guide rod 41 and an L shaped support frame 42 for placing books or documents with the horizontal plate portion of the support frame 42 having two eccentric holes 421 passed through by the two guide rods 41 such that the support frame 42 can be moved longitudinally along the guide rods 41. Referring to FIG. 4, the eccentric holes 421 are perpendicular to the guide rods 41 during the support frame 42 tilts backward so that the support frame 42 can be slid adjustably. When the books and the documents are placed on the support frame 42, the support frame 42 becomes horizontal due to the moment of the books and the documents such that the eccentric holes 421 become oblique to jam the guide rods 41 and prevent the support frame 42 from sliding downward. Besides, a spring plate 422 can be added at the back of the upright plate portion of the support plate 42 to keep the support plate 42 in a state of jamming.

[0023] Further, the two guide rods 41 at the upper parts thereof have a press piece 43 respectively and the press piece 43 is a stick 431 at both ends thereof extending an arm end 432 respectively. Each of the arm ends 432 at the free end thereof has a catch part 433 and it can be seen in FIG. 4 that the catch part 433 is a sharp cone shape. But, it is noted that the catch part 433 can be another shape such as a ball, a hand palm or a foot palm except the sharp cone to enhance the pleasure of reading. The stick 431 at the intersection of the corresponding guide rod 41 extends a guide part 434 such as a projection or a recess to catch the guide rod 41 so as to be adjusted longitudinally for complying with the size of the book or the document. When the stick 431 moves to clamped article, the stick 431 turns downward to allow the catch part 433 pressing the books or the documents firmly.

[0024] Referring to FIG. 5, it can be seen that a liquid crystal display is mounted to the rear side of the movable desk board and, in this way, the work efficiency can be promoted and the space can be utilized effectively.

[0025] Referring to FIGS. 6 and 7, the movable desk board 2 and the main desk board 11 are turned by way of the pivot part 3 and a stop part 5 is disposed at a lateral edge of the recess opening 111. The stop part 5 at an elongated groove 51 thereof is passed through with a conventional fastener such as a screw such that the stop part 5 can be attached to the bottom side of the main desk board 11. The user can adjust the stop part 5 forward or backward to change the position of a lateral extending stop tongue 52 at an end thereof such that the movable desk board 2 can be retained with the stop tongue 52 due to a shear force and the elevation angle of movable desk board 2 can be changed intentionally to a proper location. Hence, the user can adjust the reading shelf 4 to a proper angular position by way of the preceding adjustment to acquire the most comfortable environment for operating the computer, reading and writing.

[0026] It is appreciated that a lifted type computer desk set according to the present invention has the advantages listed hereinafter:

[0027] (1) The computer desk set of the present invention can be formed as an ordinary desk in addition to being possible for operating the computer. Further, the movable desk board can be pivotally lifted as a reading shelf for holding books or documents different in size and thickness and being available for reading books or printing data.

[0028] (2) The computer desk set makes the display, books, documents, the keyboard and the user being lined up without deviation so that the user can feel the comfort resulting from the human engineering.
