Soccer game table having easily assembling structure

A game table includes a housing having two side panels each of which has a number of recesses formed in the upper portion. A number of glider bars each has two gaskets received in the recesses of the side panels, and each has one or more cushioning rings and one or more players. Two beams are engaged onto the side panels and the gaskets for retaining the gaskets between the side panels and the beams. The cushioning rings and the players may be easily assembled onto the glider bars before the glider bars are assembled onto the side panels of the housing with the beams.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] 1. Field of the Invention

[0002] The present invention relates to a game table, and more particularly to a soccer game table having a structure that may be easily assembled by the users.

[0003] 2. Description of the Prior Art

[0004] As shown in FIG. 1, a typical soccer game table is illustrated and comprise a housing 10 including one or more legs 11 attached to the bottom portion thereof, for elevating or for supporting the housing 10 at a suitable height, and including two side panels 12, 14 each having a number of holes 15 formed therein.

[0005] A number of glider bars 16 are required to be engaged through the holes 15 of one side panel 12, and a number of cushioning rings 17 and players 18 are then required to be threaded or engaged onto the glider bars 16, before the end portions of the glider bars 16 are engaged through the holes 15 of the other side panel 14 and secured to the stops 19 respectively.

[0006] The other glider bars 16 are required to be engaged through the holes 15 of the other side panel 14, and a number of cushioning rings 17 and players 18 are then required to be threaded or engaged onto the glider bars 16, before the end portions of the glider bars 16 are engaged through the holes 15 of the other side panel 12 and secured to the stops 19 respectively.

[0007] However, it is relatively difficult for the workers to engage or to assemble the cushioning rings 17 and the players 18 onto the glider bars 16 when the glider bars 16 is engaged through one of the side panels 12, 14. In addition, the cushioning rings 17 and the players 18 may not be easily assembled or engaged onto the glider bars 16 by the users themselves.

[0008] The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages of the conventional soccer game tables.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0009] The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a game table including a structure that may be easily assembled by the users.

[0010] In accordance with one aspect of the invention, there is provided a game table comprising a housing including two side panels, the side panels each including an upper portion having a plurality of recesses formed therein, a plurality of glider bars to be supported on the side panels, two gaskets slidably engaged on each of the glider bars and received in the recesses of the side panels respectively, at least one cushioning ring and at least one player engaged on each of the glider bars, and two beams engaged onto the upper portions of the side panels and the gaskets respectively, for retaining the gaskets between the side panels and the beams. The glider bars are movable relative to the gaskets and the side panels, for moving the at least one player relative to the side panels of the housing. The cushioning rings and the players may be easily assembled onto the glider bars before the glider bars are engaged or assembled onto the side panels of the housing with the beams.

[0011] The beams each includes a bottom portion having a plurality of recesses formed therein for receiving the gaskets respectively. A number of fasteners may further be used for securing the beams to the side panels of the housing respectively.

[0012] Further objectives and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from a careful reading of a detailed description provided hereinbelow, with appropriate reference to accompanying drawings.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0013] FIG. 1 is a partial exploded view illustrating a typical soccer game table;

[0014] FIG. 2 is a perspective view of a game table in accordance with the present invention;

[0015] FIG. 3 is a partial exploded view of the game table; and

[0016] FIG. 4 is a partial plan view of the game table.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0017] Referring to the drawings, and initially to FIGS. 2 and 3, a soccer game table in accordance with the present invention also comprises a housing 10 including one or more legs 11 attached to the bottom portion thereof, for elevating or for supporting the housing 10 at a suitable height, and including two side panels 12, 14 each having a number of recesses 13 formed in the upper portion thereof.

[0018] A number of glider bars 16 are to be slidably supported on the panels 12, 14, and each includes two cushioning rings or gaskets 30 slidably engaged thereon and seated or received in the recesses 13 of the panels 12, 14 respectively. One or more cushioning rings 17 and one or more players 18 are positioned or engaged onto the glider bars 16 respectively.

[0019] Two beams 31 are engaged on top of the side panels 12, 14 respectively, and secured to the side panels 12, 14 with fasteners 32, and/or adhesive materials, or the other fastening members. The beams 31 each has a number of recesses 33 formed in the bottom portion thereof and aligned with the recesses 13 of the side panels 12, 14 respectively, for receiving the gaskets 30, and for retaining the gaskets 30 in the recesses 13, 33 of the side panels 12, 14 and of the beams 31.

[0020] It is to be noted that the cushioning rings 17 and the players 18, and the gaskets 30 may be assembled onto the glider bars 16 respectively, by the workers or by the users, before the glider bars 16 are assembled onto the side panels 12, 14 of the housing 10.

[0021] The workers or the users are required to aligned or engage the gaskets 30 in the recesses 13 of the side panels 12, 14, and then engage or secure the beams 31 onto the side panels 12, 14 and the gaskets 30, for securing the gaskets 30 between the side panels 12, 14 and the beams 31, as shown in FIG. 4.

[0022] When the gaskets 30 are secured between the side panels 12, 14 and the beams 31, the glider bars 16 may be moved relative to the gaskets 30 and the side panels 12, 14, for moving the players 18 relative to the gaskets 30 and the side panels 12, 14 of the housing 10, in order to hit or to strike the game balls.

[0023] The gaskets 30 each preferably include two side flaps 34 extended radially and outwardly from the ends thereof for engaging with the side panels 12, 14 and the beams 31, and for solidly retaining the gaskets 30 between the side panels 12, 14 and the beams 31.

[0024] Accordingly, the soccer game table in accordance with the present invention includes a structure that may be easily assembled by the users.

[0025] Although this invention has been described with a certain degree of particularity, it is to be understood that the present disclosure has been made by way of example only and that numerous changes in the detailed construction and the combination and arrangement of parts may be resorted to without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.
