Deck of Christian playing cards
Deck of playing cards with Christian themes and symbolism rather than the traditional themes and symbolism, which has its roots in Taro cards and other pagan themes.
[0001] Ordinary playing cards have their roots in Taro cards. Christians may feel uncomfortable playing with cards that contain this symbolism. The idea was thus born to provide Christians with playing cards that would educate, inspire, and provide comfort and pleasure to them in their use.
SUMMARY[0002] Fifty-four playing cards containing Christian themes and symbolism have been designed. The four suits being used are hearts, angels, Christian fishes, and lambs. The hearts and angels are bright pink in color. The lambs and Christian fishes will be either black or navy in color to differentiate from traditional playing cards and get away from the red and black colors that are sometimes associated with the devil.
DRAWINGS & DESCRIPTION[0003] 55 drawings are submitted. Each of the first 54 drawings is a card containing the symbolism and theme that will be used in production. Drawing #55 is an exhibit of how the bright pink suits will be colored. The playing cards will be professionally designed using the prototypes submitted as Drawings #1-54. They will be manufactured and packaged similar to existing playing cards in the marketplace today.
Claims
1. Playing cards in the marketplace today have pagan themes and are inconsistent with the beliefs and values of Christians. This deck of Christian playing cards will provide Christian users with playing cards that contain symbolism and themes closer to their belief systems and “comfort zones” than traditional playing cards. This deck of Christian playing cards contains Scriptures from the Bible along with “mini-sermons” which will teach users about the beliefs of the Christian religion. They will also be used by Christians to educate and inform non-Christians as to the beliefs of the Christian religion.
