Cap stacking structure of nail gun

A cap stacking structure comprises a plurality of caps. Each cap has at least one axial ribs for stacking the plurality of caps together so that the plurality of caps are stacked along an axial line passing through an axial center of each cap; and gaps between two adjacent caps have a predetermined length. Each rib is extended from a periphery of each cap. One side of each cap is formed with a protruding round end and another side of each cap is formed with a groove having a shape with respect to the protruding round end. Thereby, the plurality of caps are stacked by the coupling of the protruding round end and groove.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates caps of nail guns, and particularly to a cap stacking structure.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] In the pneumatic nail gun, caps are pushed to a beating position automatically so that the caps can be beaten continuously to an object. The prior arts, U.S. Pat. No. 5,947,362 and U.S. Pat. No. 6,145,725, disclosed nail guns with above said function. In these prior arts, the caps are stacked horizontally and coaxially and then the caps are placed in a cap case. Then the cap case is installed on a guide track. Since the caps are installed horizontally so that gaps between caps are larger so that only a few caps are contained in the guide track. As a result, the cap case must be enlarged so that the volume of the nail gun is increased. As a consequence, the operation is inconvenient.

[0003] Moreover, in another prior art, a vertical cap collecting cylinder is developed. In this prior art, a plurality of caps can be placed in the cylinder. The caps can be outputted from one opening of the cylinder for being beaten. This prior art is beneficial for reducing the volume and the user can hold it easily. However, in this prior art, the caps are irregularly placed in the case one by one so that the operation for filling the caps is inconveniently.

[0004] Thereby, these prior arts can not resolve the problems of increasing volumes for receiving caps and difficulty in operation.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0005] Accordingly, the primary object of the present invention is to provide a cap stacking structure which comprises a plurality of caps. Each cap has at least one axial ribs for stacking the plurality of caps together so that the plurality of caps are stacked along an axial line passing through an axial center of each cap; and gaps between two adjacent caps have a predetermined length. Each rib is extended from a periphery of each cap. One side of each cap is formed with a protruding round end and another side of each cap is formed with a groove having a shape with respect to the protruding round end so that the plurality of caps are stacked by the coupling of the protruding round end and groove.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0022] Referring to FIG. 1, a perspective view about a preferred embodiment of the cap stacking structure is illustrated. The cap set 1 is formed by a plurality of caps 11. Each cap 11 may have a round shape or other geometry shape. The periphery of each cap 11 is extended with a plurality of rib ends 12 (referring to FIG. 2). By the rib ends 12 to connect the cap 11 with the cap 10, a plurality of caps 11 are connected as a cap set 1.

[0023] By the rib ends 12 of the caps 11, the caps 11 are staked along a coaxial axis 14 (referring to FIG. 3). The adjacent cap 11 and cap 10 is formed with a gap of h0 so that the whole cap set 1 is filled in the cap case (will be described hereinafter) of a nail gun, Thereby, the caps 11 can be guided precisely.

[0024] In another embodiment of the present invention, the cap 101 of the cap set 100 can be made with a shape of a rectangular cover with cambered corners (referring to FIGS. 3A and 3B). The axial rib ends 103 are used to connect the cap 101 with the cap 102. The plurality of rib ends 103 are arranged around the periphery of the cap 101 so that the caps 104 are stacked along the same axial line 104 with a gap therebetween so as to form a cap set 100.

[0025] Other than above embodiment, FIGS. 4 to 6 shows another way for stacking the caps. In this embodiment, a plurality of caps 21 are serially connected as a cap set 2 (referring to FIG. 4). Each cap 21 has a shape of a round cover or other cover shape. A center of a bottom of each cap 21 is formed with a protruding round end 22 (referring to FIG. 6). A top center of each cap 21 is formed with a groove 23 corresponding to the protruding round end 22. Then by the coupling of the protruding round end 22 with the groove 23, two adjacent caps 21 are assembled together so as to form a cap set 2.

[0026] To use the groove 23 effectively, the depth of the groove 23 can be increased by forming an annular rib 29 along an opening of the groove 23 (referring to FIG. 6A) so as to increase the stability of the caps 21.

[0027] In another design, a top center of each cap 28 is protruded with a protruded round end 25 (referring to FIG. 6B). A bottom center of each cap 28 is formed with a groove 26. Thereby, by the coupling of the round ends 25 and the grooves 26, adjacent caps 28 are serially connected as a cap set. Moreover, an annular rib 29 can be formed at the periphery of the opening of the groove 26 of the bottom of the cap 28.

[0028] Moreover, in this embodiment, a plurality of caps 28 are stacked along an axial line 24 and edges of two adjacent caps 28 are formed a gap h1 (referring to FIGS. 6, 6A and 6B). Thus the whole cap set 2 are filled in the cap case (will be described hereinafter) so as to guide the cap precisely and smoothly.

[0029] In the embodiment illustrated in FIGS. 4 to 6, the groove 23 can be formed with a through hole 27 at a bottom of the groove so that a plurality of caps can be serially connected by a tie device passing through the through holes of all the caps in the cap set.

[0030] Referring to FIGS. 7 and 8, a horizontal cap case 4 (shows in FIG. 7) and an inclined cap case (shows in FIG. 8) for filling the cap set 1 or 2 are illustrated. The cap case can be used to fill the cap set 1 or 2.

[0031] When the cap set 1 or 100 of the rib ends 12 or 103 of the present invention are filled into the horizontal cap case 4 (referring to FIG. 6) or inclined cap case (referring to FIG. 7), for example, for a cap set 1 with the rib end 12, a cutter 42 is embedded into the gap h0 between the cap 11 and cap 10 (referring to FIG. 3) for cutting the rib end 12. Thereby, each cap 11 can be transferred by pliers 43 and then to a beating opening 61 of the nail gun 60. The gap h0 has a further effect of receiving the cutter 43 and guiding the cap 11 precisely.

[0032] When the cap set 2 of the present invention having the protruding round end 22 and the groove 23 is filled in the horizontal cap case 4 (referring to FIG. 9) or the inclined cap case 40 (referring to FIG. 10), a rod 44 can be installed at a cap outlet 41 of the casing, when the cap is beaten, the rod will move the cap 21 to the beating opening 61 of the nail gun 60. The gap h1 has the function of embedding the rod 44 and guiding the cap 21 (referring to FIG. 6).

[0033] The cap set 2 with the protruding round end 22 and groove 23 can be filled to a cylindrical cap case 5 (referring to FIG. 11). When the nail beat rod operates, a claw or teeth device 52 at an opening 51 of the cap case 5 is embedded into the gap h1 between the cap 21 and the cap 20 (referring to FIG. 6) so as to release the cap 21. Then a push plate 53 at the opening of the cap case pushes the cap 21 to the beating opening 63 of the nail gun 62.

[0034] The scope of the present invention is at the configuration of the cap instead of the application of the cap case. Moreover, the way for guiding the caps is not used to confine the scope of the present invention.

[0035] The gaps h0 and h1 have the effects of guiding the cap set so that the nail can be guide precisely. Since a plurality of caps are stacked along an axial center of the cap set, the cap set 1 can be placed in the cap case easily and conveniently.

[0036] The arrangement for stacking the caps is beneficial to collect a plurality of caps within one cap case so that only one cap set is necessary to be placed in the cap case. Thereby, the caps can be beaten continuously.

[0037] The present invention is thus described, it will be obvious that the same may be varied in many ways. Such variations are not to be regarded as a departure from the spirit and scope of the present invention, and all such modifications as would be obvious to one skilled in the art are intended to be included within the scope of the following claims.

Claims

1. A cap stacking structure comprising a plurality of caps, each cap having at least one axial rib for stacking the plurality of caps together so that the plurality of caps are stacked along an axial line passing through an axial center of each cap; and gaps between two adjacent caps having a predetermined length.

2. The cap stacking structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein each rib is extended from a periphery of each cap.

The cap stacking structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein a bottom center of each cap is formed with a protruding round end and a top center of each cap is formed with a groove having a shape with respect to the protruding round end so that the plurality of caps are stacked by the coupling of the protruding round end and the groove.

4. The cap stacking structure as claimed in claim 3, wherein an annular protruding edge is protruded from an opening of the groove of each cap.

The cap stacking structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein a top center of each cap is formed with a protruding round end and a bottom center of each cap is formed with a groove having a shape with respect to the protruding round end so that the plurality of caps are stacked by the coupling of the protruding round end and the groove.

6. The cap stacking structure as claimed in claim 5, wherein an annular protruding edge is protruded from an opening of the groove of each cap.

7. The cap stacking structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein a through hole is formed at a center of each cap.
