Ice-lets

When Ice is put into the tube (Ice-lets) and wrapped around your ankle or wrist, it will cool your body temperature down by cooling down your own blood circulation that is circulating through your body. What is new about the product/device is that there are no batteries, electrical cords or coolant that need to be used. All you need is ice, which is cheap, affordable and available. This will save you money on your electric bill so that you can keep cool without using your air conditioner. You can use it when you do your gardening on hot days or when you take long walks in the summer, go to the swap meet, in your car (if your air conditioner is not working) or anywhere that you would need to keep cool.

Description

[0001] Ice-Lets is a soft pliable plastic tube about 7″ in diameter and about 10″ to 20″ inches in length that fits around your ankle or wrist. It has two (2) threaded hard plastic cylinders on both ends (that fit around both ends of the tube), which is glued onto the soft plastic tube with silicone glue to produce a waterproof permanent seal. There are two (2) watertight caps that screw onto the cylinders with two soft plastic washer rings inserted inside the watertight caps that are used to seal in the ice and water. A hard plastic hook and fastener (similar to a necklace or bracelet hook and fastener except a lot larger) connects the tube that wraps around the ankle or wrist and holds the two ends together. When ice is put into the tube and the water-tight plastic caps are screwed on and the tube is wrapped around the ankle or wrist, it naturally and effectively keeps your body temperature down by using your own blood circulation flow to cool your body. Hence, a cheap air conditioner.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] The Background of my invention is simple. In the area that I live in (Huntington Beach, Calif.) none of the condo units have air conditioning. About two weeks in the year it gets very hot, so one day to cool off I put my feet in a bucket of ice water. To my surprise it kept my whole body cool. I thought to myself if a person could put ice and water into a big bracelet like tube, it would keep you cool on hot days, if you were gardening or have no air-conditioning.
