The four frame brackets (32) are respectively mounted on the top of the table legs (50), and form four corners (not numbered) of the leaf table. Each of the longitudinal frames (31) has a longitudinal grooves (not numbered) and an inner surface (not numbered). Two stop blocks (311) are mounted respectively on the inner surface of the two longitudinal grooves. Each of the two transverse frames (33) has a drawer slot (not numbered) and two runner slots (not numbered). The two longitudinal and transverse frames (31, 33) are mounted on the four frame brackets (32), and form the four sides of the leaf table. The longitudinal and transverse frames (31, 33) are mounted perpendicular to each other.

[0022] The slots comprise one central slot (not numbered), two longitudinal slots (not numbered) and two transverse slots (not numbered). The central slot has a The left mounting side has three stub grooves. The two transverse slots are mounted parallel between the two longitudinal frames (31) abutting the two stop blocks (311). The two longitudinal slots are connected to a left side (not numbered) of the two runner slots.

[0023] With further reference to FIGS. 3 and 4, the leaves comprises two major leaves (11, 12) and two secondary leaves (13, 14). The two major leaves (11, 12) includes a right major leaf (11) and a left major leaf (12). The right major leaf (11) has a left mounting side (not numbered) and the left mounting side has three stubs (not numbered). The left major leaf (12) has a right mounting side (not numbered) and the right mounting side has three stub holes (not numbered). The two secondary leaves (13, 14) includes a right secondary leaf (13) and a left secondary leaf (14). Each of the right and left secondary leaves (13, 14) has a right and a left mounting sides (not numbered). Each of the left mounting sides of the two secondary leaves (13, 14) has three stubs (not numbered). Each of the right mounting sides of the two secondary leaves (13, 14) has three stub holes (not numbered). Each of two major leaves (11, 12) has two L-shaped runners (111 121), and each of the two runners (111, 121) has two major lifters (113, 115, 123, 125). Each of the runners (111, 121) is mounted onto the major leaves (11, 12) with a gap (not shown) existing between the runners (111, 121) and the major leaves (11, 12). Each of the major lifters (113, 115, 123, 125) has a slanted surface (not numbered). Each of the two secondary leaves (13, 14) has two runners (131, 141) and two pairs of secondary lifters (133, 135, 143, 145). The two runners (141) and lifters (143,145) abut the left mounting side of the left mounting side of the left secondary leaf (14). Each of the two runners (131, 141) has two concave grooves (137, 147). Each of the lifters (133, 135, 143, 145) has a slanted surface (not numbered).

[0024] When the major and secondary leaves (11, 12, 13, 14) are assembled on the table frames (31, 33), The slanted surfaces of the major lifters (113, 115, 123, 125) on the runners (11, 12) are respectively facing the slanted surfaces of the secondary lifters (133, 135, 143, 145) on the runners (13, 14). The stubs on the left mounting side of the right major leaf (1 1) are connected to the stub holes in the right mounting side of the left major leaf (12). The stubs on the left mounting side of right secondary leaf (13) are connected to the stub grooves of the central slots. The two runners (111, 121) are slideably engaged into the runner slots of the secondary frame (33) then the drawers (70) with front panels (71) are respectively and slideably engaged into the drawer slots. Therefore, the front panels (71) blocks the runners (111, 121) from sliding out of the runner slots, and the drawers (70) need to be removed before the two major leaves (11, 12) are pulled apart.

[0025] With reference to FIGS. 3 through 7, when the left major leaf (12) is pulled away from abutting the central slot, the major runners (121) on the left major leaf (12) slide along the runner slots and move left. The major lifters (123, 125) slide left with the runners (121). The concave groove (147) on the left secondary leaf (14) received the corresponding stop block (311) when the left secondary leaf (14) is mounted in the longitudinal groove of the longitudinal frame (31). When the slanted surfaces of the major lifters (123, 125) are sliding on the left secondary leaf(14), the secondary lifters (143,145) will be raised up along the slanted surface of the major lifters (123, 125) on the left major leaf(12). With the engagement between the concave groove (147) and the corresponding stop block (311), the left secondary leaf (14) will not slide left along the slanted surface on the left major leaf (12) but will move upward with the secondary lifters (143,145). Therefore, the left secondary leaf (14) raises up vertically till the left secondary leaf (14) is horizontally leveled with the left major leaf (12) and the corresponding stop block is disengaged from the concave groove of the left secondary leaf (14). The secondary leaf (14) is then pushed right so the stub holes in the right mounting side of the left secondary leaf (14) receive stubs from the right major leaf (11). The left secondary leaf (14) is on the central slot, and the left major leaf (12) is pushed right so the stub holes on the right mounting side are engaged with the stubs on the left mounting side of the left secondary leaf (12). The above-mentioned actions are repeated mentioned actions to separate the right major leaf (11) and to raise right secondary leaf (13). The largest area of the table surface is when both secondary leaves (13, 14) are raised and leveled with the major leaves (11, 12). The advantage of the inventive leaf table is that the leaf table has a long life time usage because the leaf table does not need replacements of any particular mechanical part like the conventional leaf table.

[0026] It is to be understood, however, that even though numerous characteristics and advantages of the present invention have been set forth in the foregoing description, together with details of the structure and function of the especially in matters of shape, size, and arrangement of parts within the principles of the invention to the full extent indicated by the broad general meaning of the terms in which the appended claims are expressed.
