Abstract: An extendable table includes a frame and a fixed board mounted on frame. The frame has two extension tubes arranged in parallel. The extension tube has an outer tube receiving two inner tubes therein. A gear wheel is provided on the outer tube and a gear rack is provided on each of the two inner tubes for engaging with the gear wheel, so that the two inner tubes move synchronously. The inner tube has an outer end thereof provided with a moving component. Two movable boards each have one side connected to the moving component and an opposite end laid on the fixed board. The movable boards may be drawn together to form a small tabletop or pulled apart to form, together with the fixed board, an extended tabletop. The inner tubes each have a lifting member that lifts the movable board for easy expanding/retracting operation.

Abstract: A roller extension slide including first and second track beams, a center beam of box section with wheels projecting through clearance openings of lateral webs engaging track surfaces of the track beams; guide flanges of the center beam engaging guide slots of the track beams for maintaining the track beams closely spaced; and the travel slot formed in each track beam. Center wheel axle extensions engage opposite ends of travel slots in the track beams for limiting the travel between retracted and extended positions of the track beams, with track beam wheel engagement spacing being at least 80% of the track length the first position and at least 40% in the second position, an extension distance being at least 80% percent of the track length, the first position being with the apparatus substantially contained within the track length. Also disclosed is a table incorporating a pair of the extension slides.

Abstract: An elevating leaf table has leaves, a table frame, table legs, drawers and lifters. The table frame has longitudinal and transverse frames. Each of the longitudinal frames has longitudinal slots and top blocks. Each of the transverse frames has a drawer slot and two runner slots. The leaves are a right major leaf, a left major leaf, a right secondary leaf and a left secondary leaf. Each of the major leaves has two runners with two major lifters, and each of the secondary leaves has two runners and two secondary lifters. Each of the lifters has a slanted surface, and the slanted surfaces of the major lifters face the slanted surfaces of the secondary lifters. Each of the runners on the secondary leaves has a concave groove, which engaged with a corresponding stop blocks.

Abstract: A game table includes a storage area with a center leaf horizontally mounted in the storage area. When the top cover is in a closed position, the center leaf is positioned at the bottom of the storage area. A pulley system is used to raise the center leaf into a playing position when the top cover is moved to the open position. When the top cover is closed again, the pulley system lowers the center leaf into the storage area. A game board and game pieces positioned on the center leaf are maintained in the same position when the top cover is closed and the center leaf is lowered into the storage area. By maintaining the center leaf in a horizontal position, persons playing a game can suspend the game and safely keep the game pieces in the same position by merely closing the top cover. The game may be resumed by opening the top cover to raise the center leaf back into the playing position.

Abstract: A dining table consists of a locating frame which is supported by a frame support and is provided with a sliding mechanism mounted thereon to permit opening and closing of a first table top. A second table top is held between two fastening supports of the locating frame on the frame support. The sliding mechanism comprises two slide rail members. Each slide rail member has two slide plates and a frame strip. Each slide plate has four slide wheels and a traction unit fastened on the slide plate. Each slide plate of the two slide plates are slidably engaged on each of the two frame strips of the sliding mechanism. The second table top can be activated to extract or retract in an opening between the first table top after it has been opened on the sliding mechanism.

Abstract: An adjustable dual worksurface support is provided for electronic data processing equipment and the like, and comprises a freestanding pedestal, and a generally U-shaped first worksurface having a front surface shaped to support a keyboard thereon, and two side surfaces extending rearwardly from opposite sides thereon to define a central open area. A second worksurface is provided to support a display thereon, and has a plan shape similar to that of the central open area of the keyboard worksurface for close reception therein. The keyboard worksurface is vertically adjustable with respect to the floor, preferably between sitting and standing positions, and the display worksurface is vertically adjustable with respect to the keyboard worksurface, preferably to positions both above and below the same to accommodate various users and tasks.

Abstract: A table (20) comprises a pair of side leaves (22,23) movable with respect to each other to abut each other for forming a small tabletop (27), a center leaf (24) selectively interposable between the pair of side leaves (22,23) for forming a large tabletop (37), and a moving mechanism (25) for selectively automatically configuring the leaves (22,23,24) into a small or a large tabletop (27,37). The moving mechanism (25) includes an apparatus (40) for sliding the side leaves (22,23) toward and away from each other, a cam apparatus (41) for raising and lowering the center leaf (24) and for storing the center leaf (24) below the side leaves (22,23) and for retrieving the center leaf (24) from storage, and a driving apparatus (88) for moving the slide apparatus (40) and the cam apparatus (41).

Abstract: A table (10) includes an extensible top surface including end leaves (20, 22) which are slidably mounted on a frame (12). The end leaves (20, 22) are mounted by means of a roller mechanism (62, 66) which permits easy movement of the leaves between an opened and closed position to allow for insertion of a center leaf (28). The center leaf (28) is carried on the frame (12) and is displaceable between a down position below the top surface of the table and an up position wherein the center leaf forms a portion of the top surface. The leaf (28) is mounted to the table by means of a linkage (34, 46) which allows the center leaf (28) to be displaced between the up and down positions. In order to facilitate movement of the center leaf (28) to the up position, at least one torsion rod (40) or other spring element is mounted between the center leaf (28) and the table frame (12) to provide the desired biasing force to maintain the center leaf (28) in the up position.

Abstract: The invention pertains to an extensible table, characterized by the fact that it consists of at least one sliding-out table top and at least one extension, whereby the latter is located, in position of rest, under the slidable table top or tops, and whereby said extension can cooperate, by means of outwardly directed protrusions, with vertical slots in each of the adjacent side members of the table frame, and whereby means are provided within said side members which permit, after sliding out the table top or tops, to maintain said extension in a raised position, on the one hand, and to let down again said extension for shortening the table, on the other hand.
