[0003] 2. Description of the Related Art
[0004] A conventional seal container comprises a container body, and a cover detachably mounted on the container body. However, the cover cannot seal the container body closely, so that the container body is easily connected to the ambient environment, thereby decreasing the sealing effect of the conventional seal container. In addition, the conventional seal container can be used to store dry food only, and cannot be used to place the liquid due to the poor sealing effect, thereby decreasing the versatility of the conventional seal container.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION[0005] The present invention is to mitigate and/or obviate the disadvantage of the conventional seal container.

[0016] FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of the seal container assembly in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention;
[0017] FIG. 3 is a top plan view of the seal container assembly as shown in FIG. 1;
[0018] FIG. 4 is a front plan cross-sectional operational view of the seal container assembly as shown in FIG. 1; and
[0019] FIG. 5 is a schematic operational view of the seal container assembly as shown in FIG. 1 in use.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION[0020] Referring to the drawings and initially to FIGS. 1-4, a seal container assembly in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a container body 10, a cover 20, and a seal plate 30.
[0021] The container body 10 has an inside formed with a receiving space 11 for receiving articles, food or liquid.
[0022] The cover 20 is secured on the container body 10 to cover the container body 10. The cover 20 is formed with a substantially rectangular concave portion 21 The concave portion 21 of the cover 20 has a first end formed with a recess 22 having a bottom formed with a ventilating hole 23 communicating with the receiving space 11 of the container body 10. The concave portion 21 of the cover 20 has two opposite side walls each having a mediate portion formed with a pivot hole 24. The first end of the concave portion 21 of the cover 20 is formed with a locking hole 25 (see FIG. 4) located adjacent to the recess 22. The concave portion 21 of the cover 20 has a second end formed with a first snap hole 26 and a second snap hole 27 located under the first snap hole 26.
[0023] The seal plate 30 is substantially rectangular and is pivotally mounted in the concave portion 21 of the cover 20. The seal plate 30 has a first end 301 and a second end 302. The first end 301 of the seal plate 30 is formed with a fixing hole 31 aligning with the ventilating hole 23 of the cover 20. The first end 301 of the seal plate 30 is provided with a protruding locking portion 33 detachably locked in the locking hole 25 of the cover 20. The second end 302 of the seal plate 30 is provided with a protruding snap portion 34 (see FIG. 4) detachably snapped into either one of the first snap hole 26 and the second snap hole 27 of the cover 20. The seal plate 30 has two opposite sides each having a mediate portion provided with a protruding pivot portion 32 pivotally mounted in the respective pivot hole 24 of the cover 20.
[0024] The seal container assembly further comprises a sealing member 40 secured on a bottom of the seal plate 30 to move therewith for sealing the ventilating hole 23 of the cover 20. Preferably, the sealing member 40 is made of plastic material. In addition, the sealing member 40 has an upper portion formed with a head 42 secured in the fixing hole 31 of the seal plate 30 and a lower portion formed with an enclosure 41 that can be received in the recess 22 of the cover 20 to seal the ventilating hole 23 of the cover 20. Preferably, the enclosure 41 of the sealing member 40 is flexible.
[0025] In assembly, the food or liquid is initially placed in the receiving space 11 of the container body 10. Then, the cover 20 is secured on the container body 10 to cover the container body 10. Then, the seal plate 30 is mounted in the concave portion 21 of the cover 20, with the locking portion 33 being snapped into the locking hole 25 of the cover 20 and with the snap portion 34 being snapped into the first snap hole 26 of the cover 20, so that the enclosure 41 of the sealing member 40 is received in the recess 22 of the cover 20 to seal the ventilating hole 23 of the cover 20, thereby achieving a sealing effect. In such a manner, the enclosure 41 of the sealing member 40 is flexible so that it can be deformed to a determined extent to seal the ventilating hole 23 of the cover 20 closely and tightly, thereby enhancing the sealing effect of the seal container assembly.
[0026] In operation, referring to FIGS. 1-5, the second end 302 of the seal plate 30 is pressed downward to pivot the seal plate 30 as shown in FIG. 5, so that the second end 302 of the seal plate 30 is moved downward and the first end 301 of the seal plate 30 is moved upward by the leverage principle. In such a manner, the snap portion 34 is moved downward to detach from the first snap hole 26 of the cover 20 and is snapped into the second snap hole 27 of the cover 20, while the locking portion 33 is moved upward to detach from the locking hole 25 of the cover 20, so that the sealing member 40 is moved upward and the enclosure 41 of the sealing member 40 is detached from the ventilating hole 23 of the cover 20, thereby producing a ventilating effect, such that the liquid received in the receiving space 11 of the container body 10 can be poured outward easily.
[0027] Accordingly, the seal container assembly has the following advantages.
[0028] 1. The seal container assembly can be assembled and disassembled easily and conveniently, thereby decreasing costs of assembly and disassembly of the seal container assembly.
[0029] 2. The seal container assembly has a simplified construction, thereby decreasing costs of fabrication.
[0030] 3. The seal container assembly can be used to store solid food and liquid, thereby enhancing the versatility of the seal container assembly.
[0031] 4. The enclosure 41 of the sealing member 40 is flexible so that it can be deformed to a determined extent to seal the ventilating hole 23 of the cover 20 closely and tightly, thereby enhancing the sealing effect of the seal container assembly.
[0032] 5. The seal container assembly can be operated easily and conveniently, thereby facilitating the user employing the seal container assembly.
[0033] 6. The enclosure 41 of the sealing member 40 can seal and release the ventilating hole 23 of the cover 20 easily and conveniently, thereby enhancing the sealing and ventilating effects of the seal container assembly.
