Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

(a) Field of the Invention

The present invention is related to a Vacuum-sealed compression storage bag, and more particularly, to an improved structure of a vacuum compression storage bag.

(b) Description of the Prior Art

The structure of the vacuum-sealed compression storage bag generally available in the market is comprised of a bag having one open end and the other end sealed in linear form in the shape of a common plastic bag. A zipper sealing line comprised of a male strip and a female strip is provided to the open end. A zipper clamp must be used to buckle up the male and the female strips to seal up the open end. However, the zipper clamp is separately provided and is vulnerable to be lost and cause inconvenience in the future when sealing of the bag is required. Furthermore, an air suction outlet is extended from the bag. The structure of the prior art is found with insufficient storage space because of its regular flat design and the storage area of the compression bag itself increase as the bag size increase.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary purpose of the present invention is to provide vacuum-sealed compression storage bag to achieve or improve genuine vacuum compression storage of a quilt in firm and neat fashion. To achieve the purpose, an extendable bottom is provided on the opposite end of the open end of the bag so that when the extendable bottom is extended, the bag becomes cone-shaped for easy placement of the quilt into the bag and creates more storage space in the bag. Most importantly, the extended bottom does not increase the storage area of a compressed bag itself.

Another purpose of the present invention is to provide a vacuum-sealed compression storage bag that allows faster and easier sealing of its open end. To achieve the purpose, a C-clamp is provided to the zipper-sealing strip to prevent it from falling off.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Referring to FIGS. 1 through FIG. 7 for a vacuum sealed compression storage bag of the present invention, wherein, as illustrated in FIG. 1, the storage bag includes a bag 1 having an open end 11 adapted with an extendable bottom 10 on the opposite side of the bag 1, which when extended indicates a cone shape; a zipper sealing strip 12 comprised of a male strip 13 and a female strip 14 is provided to the open end 11; a C-clamp 2 is adapted to the zipper sealing strip 12 for achieving a fast sealing of the open end 11; and an air suction outlet 15 adapted with an air-tight section 151 is extended from one side of the bag 1.

As illustrated in FIGS. 2 and 3, the zipper C-clamp 2 contains an inner press member 21 and an external locking piece 26. The inner press member 21 is comprised of a pair of plates 22 hinged to each other; and two protrusions 23 are each disposed at the outer ends of the plates 22 with both protrusions 23 facing and holding to each other to zipper clamp on the sealing line 12 in the effect of providing an individual inner press member 21 to each side of the open end 11 of the bag 1. A recess 24 is provided on the surface of the plate 22 at where close to the protrusion 23, and two clamping tabs 25 are respectively disposed at both sides of the opposite end of the plate 22. The external locking piece 26 in made in a “⊂” shape with an opening side locks up both sides of the inner press member 21 to hold it in position. Wherein, a locking edge 27 is provided to the free end of the external locking piece 26 to be restricted by both recesses 24 of the protrusion 23 for the external locking piece 26 to be secured in both clamping tabs 25 to prevent separating from the inner press member 21, thus to allow the external locking piece 26 to carry the inner press member 21 for closing up the sealing line 14.

The extendable bottom 10 extended from the other end of the open end 11 is in rectangular shape as illustrated in FIG. 4 when folded in or as illustrated in FIG. 1 when extended. A vacuum suction 4 adapted to the air suction outlet 15 as illustrated in FIG. 4 is provided to draw the air trapped inside the bag 1. A quilt 3 is folded and placed into the bag 1 as illustrated in FIG. 5. As the air suction starts as shown in FIG. 6, the bag 1 shrinks and when the air suction is completed as illustrated in FIG. 7, the quilt 3 is compressed to a size at least half of its volume for saving the storage space. Furthermore, the extendable bottom 10 is provided to compromise the shape of the bottom of the quilt 3 for permitting easy and convenient placement of the quilt 3 or even two pieces of quilt 3 at the same time into the bag 1. Thus the compression bag could hold large volume without increasing storage area of the compressed bag itself. When the bag 1 is not used, the extendable bottom 10 is folded in, and extended into a flat bottom. When more bag space 1 is required for the storage of a flat quilt 3, it is no longer restricted by the peripheral of the prior art. The prior art of the storage bag is observed with the flaw of being unable to extend the bottom on the bag. On the contrary, the present invention provides more storage space in the bag and the extendable bottom 10 is extended to allow the bag to stand vertically without supports. The entire structure of the present invention by teaching a mechanism that is totally different from the prior art makes the storage of quilt easier and more convenient to offer excellent utility and practicality. Most importantly, it increases the storage volume without increasing the storage area of a compressed storage bag.

Specification of the preferred embodiment and the accompanying drawings to the present invention given above are by no means to restrict the teaching of the present invention. It is to be noted that any changed and/or similar structure to that of the present invention based on the teaching of the present invention shall be included in those claims to be claimed in the present invention.
