Dual-purpose lip color container

Abstract

A lip color container includes a main containing body, a cap, and a containing base detachably connected to the main containing body; the main containing body has a first end for containing a lip color stick, and an extension portion at the other end; the extension portion is hollow, and has screw threads formed on an inner side thereof; the cap is used for covering the first end of the main containing body; the transparent containing base has a holding cavity for containing a cosmetic therein, and screw threads on an outer side thereof so as to be capable of being screwed onto the extension portion.

Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a lip color container, more particularly one, which has a main containing body for a lip color stick to be held therein, and a transparent containing base, which is used for containing another cosmetic, and which is screwed onto a hollow extension portion of the main containing body.

2. Brief Description of the Prior Art

Referring to FIG. 3, a conventional lip color container includes a base 4, a cap 5, and a rotary tube 6 inserted in the base 4. The base 4 includes an inner locating part 41, and a base part 42. The locating part 41 has a cavity, and the rotary tube 6 is fitted in the cavity. A lip color stick 61 is held in the rotary tube 6 such that it can be projected outwards from the rotary tube 6 by means of turning the tube 6. The base part 42 has a fitting room 421, in which the locating part 41 is inserted, and has a holding room 422 containing a stain, which is the same color and of the same nature as the lip color 61. The cap 5 is used for covering upper ends of the base 4 and the rotary tube 6.

However, the holding room 422 of the base 4 can't be opened, and the stain is only used as ornament. In other words, the lip color container still only can serve one practical purpose, i.e. containing single kind of lip color.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

It is a main object of the present invention to provide a lip color container, which will serve more purposes than the conventional one.

The lip color container of the present invention includes a main containing body, a cap, and a containing base detachably connected to the main containing body. The main containing body has a first end for containing a lip color stick, and an extension portion at the other end. The extension portion is hollow, and has screw threads formed on an inner side thereof. The cap is used for covering the first end of the main containing body. The transparent containing base has a holding cavity for containing a cosmetic therein, and screw threads on an outer side thereof so as to be capable of being screwed onto the extension portion.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, a preferred embodiment of the lip color container of the present invention includes a main containing body 1, a cap 2, and a containing base 3.

The main containing body 1 has a holding room at one end, in which a lip color stick 11 is held, and an extension portion 12 at the other end. The extension portion 12 is hollow, and has screw threads 13 formed on an inner side thereof. The cap 2 is used for covering the holding room of the main containing body 1.

The containing base 3 is transparent, and has a holding cavity 31, and screw threads 33 on an outer side thereof. The containing base 3 can be screwed onto the extension portion 12 of the main containing body 1 with the help of the screw threads 13 and 33 such that the holding cavity 31 is held in the main containing body 1. A cosmetic 32 is held in the holding cavity 31 of the containing base 3, which cosmetic 32 can be a lip color that is different color or same color from the lip color stick 11, and can be a cosmetic of different nature from the lip color stick 11, e.g. cheek color, and eye color.

Thus, the cosmetic 32 can be used after the containing base 3 is screwed off the main containing body 1. Furthermore, because the containing base 3 is transparent, people can see the cosmetic 32 even if the containing base 3 is connected with the main containing body 1. Therefore, besides serving the practical purpose, the cosmetic 32 can serve an ornamental purpose to make the whole container more attractive. And, one is allowed to carry an additional cosmetic that is different form the lip color stick 11 with her by means of the present container. In other words, the present container is convenient to use.

Claims

1. A lip color container for serving two purposes, comprising

a main containing body having a first end for containing a lip color stick, and an extension portion at a second end thereof; the extension portion being hollow, and having a plurality of screw threads formed on an inner side thereof;

a cap used for covering the first end of the main containing body; and

a transparent containing base detachably connected to the extension portion of the main containing body; the containing base having a holding cavity for containing a cosmetic therein; the containing base having a plurality of screw threads on an outer side thereof so as to be capable of being screwed onto the extension portion of the main containing body.
