( Uni-Tee ) flexible - adjustable- reusable golf practice tee

The UNI-TEE is a new golf practice tee, that is flexible, adjustable and reusable. The Uni-Tee will be inserted into the ground at the practice range to the desired height by way of the insertion tool. Now in position the Uni-Tee will provide the golfer a practice tee that can used for repeated swings at the ball. The major advantage of this tee is that it will not break on club head impact or need to be reset after each swing.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Various different golf tees have been cited and listed on enclosed form 1449/PTO. However, none of the golf tees cited by the inventor, insert into the ground in the same manner as the UNI-TEE. The versatility and simplicity which is embodied in the UNI-TEE is what has been discovered.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Referring to the drawings wherein like reference characters designate like or corresponding parts throughout the several views of the UNI-TEE.

FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view showing the UNI-TEE inserted into the earth with a golf ball sitting in position atop the tee's hollow flex tub, ready to be struck.

FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view showing the insertion tool coupled with the UNI-TEE. The union of both tee and tool temporarily gives the rigidity and strength required for the tee to be inserted in the earth. After the tee has been inserted into the earth and adjusted to the desired height above ground level, the insertion tool is then removed.

FIG. 3 is a three-dimensional view of the insertion tool.

FIG. 4 is a three-dimensional view of the UNI-TEE.

DRAWING LABELS

1—There is shown the hollow top of the UNI-TEE flex tube, showing the beveled inner surface of the tube that supports the ball.

2—There is shown the hollow inner of the flex tube, contiguous with the lower hollow inner #3. This is the void into which the tool is inserted, temporarily providing the flexible UNI-TEE with the rigidity and strength to be inserted into the earth.

3—There is shown the lower (base) hollow inner of the flex tube, contiguous with the upper inner hollow #2. This is the void into which the tool is inserted, temporarily providing the UNI-TEE with the rigidity and strength to be inserted into the earth.

4—Thickened base of the UNI-TEE flex tube body.

5—Solid tip of the UNI-TEE flex tube body.

6—Cross-section of the earthen subgrade into which the tee is inserted.

7—Approximate overall height of the working UNI-TEE prototype is 6.5 inches.

8—There is shown a golf ball sitting atop the UNI-TEE flex tube.

9—There is shown the solid rigid insertion tool.

The purpose of the UNI-TEE is to furnish the golfer with a flexible, adjustable and reusable golf practice tee. The UNI-TEE will enable the golfer to hit multiple drives from the same tee and position. This invention will eliminate the need to continuously reset/reposition the golf tee practicing. The insertion tool allows the golfer to easily insert the UNI-TEE into the ground and set the flex tube at the desired height above the ground. The flexible body of the tee is able to bend freely upon impact from the golf club and return repeatedly to the upright position during a practice session. The UNI-TEE can be constructed out of a verity of materials, including plastic, rubber or P.V.C., etc. The insertion tool can be constructed out of any rigid materials either plastic or metal. When the insertion tool is inserted into the flex tube it gives the tee the necessary support to allow the golfer to push the tee into the ground. Once the tee is positioned to the desired height, the tool is removed. The material and dimensions of both the tee and the tool can vary. The enclosed drawings show a working prototype drawn to actual size The UNITEE has performed in field tests for sustained impact resistance and ball holding ability.

What is claimed is the UNI-TEE golf practice tee explained in the set forth enclosures, writings and drawings.
