Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a paperboard carton structure, and more particularly to a storage and display carton structure which can be assembled firmly to another such carton structure, and the carton structure is not only used for storing goods but also for displaying goods.

2. Description of the Prior Arts

Most of the paperboard cartons on the market have a sealed configuration, and there are no corresponding structures defined between the cartons. The cartons are normally piled up one upon another, thus resulting the following problems:

First, the conventional cartons on the market only can be used for storing goods or products, and the user has to use special display cartons or stands to display the products when the products are sold in a store

Second, the display stands or the display cartons in a store-are always used to display many products at a time for customers to pick up directly, however, after most of the goods are sold, the shop assistant has to push the goods outward from the deep side of the display stands for customers to pick up easily. Thus, the workload of the shop assistant is increased.

The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary object of the present invention is to provide a carton structure which can be used for storing and displaying goods, and a plurality of such carton structures can be assembled firmly together. In the inner space of the carton is provided a slant board assembly which slants gradually from inside of the carton towards the mouth of the carton, a plurality of jointing members are provided on the upper and the bottom surfaces of the carton and are used to enable the plural cartons to be stacked up stably. The slant board assembly can enable the objects to be displayed to slide automatically to the mouth of the carton.

The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings, which show, for purpose of illustrations only, the preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 is an exploded view of a storage and display carton structure in accordance with the present invention;

FIG. 2 is an assembly view of a storage and display carton structure in accordance with the present invention;

FIG. 3 is an assembly cross sectional view of a storage and display carton structure in accordance with the present invention;

FIG. 4 is an assembly cross sectional view for showing a several carton structures which are stacked up one upon another.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Referring to FIGS. 1-3, a storage and display carton structure in accordance with the present invention generally comprises:

A paperboard carton 10, on a side of which is formed a mouth 12 in communication with an inner space 11. Under the mouth 12 is provided a flange 121. The carton 10 comprises an upper board 13, a bottom board 14 and three lateral boards 15. A side of the upper board 13 is integral with the carton 10, on the upper board 13 and at corresponding positions on the bottom board 14 are formed a plurality of holes 16.

A slant board assembly 20 comprises a slant rack 21 and a board 22. The slant rack 21 slants down gradually from the inside of the carton 10 toward the mouth 12. The board 22 is installed on the slant rack 21 and defines a slant surface 222. The board 22 is provided with plural tracks 221 for receiving the object P to be displayed, the tracks 221 are located corresponding to the flange 121 of the mouth 12.

A plurality of supporting rods 30 span between the lateral boards 15 of the carton 10.

A plurality of jointing members 40, each of which is provided on its upper surface and lower surface with a projection 41 and a concave 42, respectively. The jointing members 40 are installed in the respective holes 16 on the upper and the bottom boards 13, 14. The projection 41 of the jointing member 40 is designed to insert in the concave 42 of another jointing member 40.

Referring further to FIGS. 1-4, if the carton in accordance with the present invention is used for storage, since the carton 10 is made up of the upper and the bottom boards 13, 14, and three lateral boards 15, and the flange 121 is provided bellow the mouth 12, the objects P to be displayed can be arranged in a row in the slant board assembly 20 which is located in the inner space 11 of the carton 10. The flange 121 serves to prevent the objects P from falling out through the mouth 12.

As shown in FIG. 4, when the carton 10 is used as a display carton, and in this embodiment, several cartons 10 are piled up one upon another. The respective cartons 10 are assembled to each other by the jointing members 40 on the upper and the bottom boards 13, 14 in such a manner that the projections 41 of the jointing members 40 on the upper carton 10 are inserted in the concaves 42 of the jointing members 40 on the lower carton 10. Thus, the respective cartons 10 can be stacked up stably. On the other hand, since the slant rack 21 of the slant board assembly 20 slants down gradually from the inside of the carton 10 toward the mouth 12, the board 22 will enable the objects P to slide along the slant surface 222 to the flange 121 of the mouth 12, and the objects P will be arranged in order with the help of the plural tracks 221. Thus, at the mouths 12 of the respective layers of cartons 10 are automatically arranged with the objects P to be displayed.

It should be noted that the board 22 could enable the objects P to slide along the slant surface 222 to the flange 121 of the mouth 12, once the consumer takes out the outmost object P, another object P will instantly and automatically slide along the slant surface 222 to the flange 121 of the mouth 12, thus, the shop assistant doesn't need to adjust the position of the objects P by manual.

While we have shown and described various embodiments in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
