Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a head-mounted MP3 player and, more particularly, to a head-mounted MP3 player, which combines an MP3 module with a head-mounted sports device such as a hat, a sun-hat, a hard helmet, a soft helmet, a head band, a hair ring, a headscarf, a swimming hat, or a diving helmet, so that the MP3 module can be worn on a user's head with the head-mounted sports device to facilitate portability of the MP3 module during sports.

2. Description of Related Art

MP3 sound data is one kind of sound wave data. Based on the MP3 compression protocol, original sound waves are converted into the MP3 file format. Through this special way of compression, a wave data of a size of 50-60 MB can be converted into an MP3 data of a size of about 4 MB whose sound quality is almost the same as the original sound waves. An MP3 audio disc can thus store music of more than ten conventional audio discs. Therefore, MP3 players are more and more appreciated by consumers, and have become one of the most popular 3C products now.

Conventional MP3 players, however, are inconvenient when users exercise. An MP3 player can be placed in a pocket, but the MP3 player may easily fall out of the pocket during sports. The MP3 player may then suffer damage.

TW Pat. No. TW183018 and TW Pat. No. TW184691 disclose a head-mounted earphone type radio set and a head-mounted radio set, respectively. A radio set and a head-mounted earphone are combined together. However, these disclosures only apply to a radio set, but cannot apply to an MP3 player. Moreover, they are also inconvenient for sports.

There is also a conventional head-mounted bluetooth earphone. A bluetooth earphone is built in a helmet or a hat. This head-mounted bluetooth earphone, however, only combines the helmet or hat with the bluetooth earphone, but does not apply to an MP3 player.
