Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a system for supplying driving power for a steam boiler.

2. Description of the Related Art

Hitherto, there has been known a steam boiler having such a structure that feed water is heated to generate steam that is supplied to a load device such as production equipment in a plant (see, for example, JP 2004-138301 A). In the steam boiler, it is necessary to provide boiler driving power, such as power for driving a blower for sending combustion air into the combustion chamber and power for boiler control. Conventionally, such boiler driving power is supplied from commercial power supply.

If, while supplying the steam generated in the steam boiler to the load device, power generation is effected by utilizing the steam, and the power thus generated is used as driving power for the steam boiler, neither wiring cost for the power source nor electric charges are involved, which is advantageous from the economical viewpoint. Further, if no power can be supplied from outside due to a power failure or the like, it is advantageously possible to operate the steam boiler.

However, in thus effecting power generation by utilizing the steam generated by the steam boiler, and using the power thus generated as driving power for the steam boiler, the following problems are involved. At the start of the steam boiler, no steam has been supplied, so it is impossible to effect power generation, that is, it is impossible to secure the power required at the start of the steam boiler. Further, when the amount of steam required in the load device is small (that is, at the time of low load operation), there is a fear of a sufficient amount of boiler driving power not being generated. Further, when the amount of steam required in the load device increases (that is, at the time of load fluctuation), it is necessary to switch the steam boiler from low combustion state to high combustion state. However, at the time of switching to high combustion state, the requisite amount of boiler driving power increases, so that, with the amount of steam available up to that point, it is impossible to secure the requisite amount of steam for effecting a corresponding power generation, which means there is a fear of power shortage. In this way,in providing boiler driving power by utilizing the steam generated in the steam boiler, there is a problem in that it is rather difficult to constantly effect a stable power supply.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

It is an object of the present invention to realize a boiler driving power supply system capable of supplying steam generated in a steam boiler to a load device, while generating power by utilizing the steam, and of supplying as driving power for the steam boiler the power thus generated constantly and in a stable manner.

The present invention has been made to achieve the above object, and according to a first aspect of the present invention, a boiler driving power supply system is characterized by including: a steam power generation means provided in a steam line for supplying steam generated in a steam boiler to a load device; and a power storage means for storing power from the steam power generation means as driving power for the steam boiler.

According to the first aspect of the invention, while supplying the steam generated in the steam boiler to the load device, power generation is effected by the steam power generation means by utilizing the steam, and the power thus generated is stored in the power storage means. By utilizing the power from this power storage means, the steam boiler is driven.

Further, according to a second aspect of the present invention, a boiler driving power supply system of the first aspect of the invention, is characterized by further including a feed water heating means for heating water to be fed to the steam boiler by using the steam utilized in the steam power generation means.

According to the second aspect of the invention, the feed water is heated by the feed water heating means by using the steam utilized in the steam power generation means.

According to the first aspect of the invention, the steam from the steam boiler is supplied to the load device, while generating power by utilizing the steam, the power thus generated being stored in the power storage means as driving power for the steam boiler. Thus, even at the start of the steam boiler when no steam is being supplied, it is possible to secure the requisite boiler driving power. Further, even at the time of low load operation or at the time of load fluctuation, it is possible to secure a sufficient amount of boiler driving power, making it possible to supply driving power for the steam boiler constantly in a stable manner.

According to the second aspect of the invention, the feed water is heated, so the requisite amount of energy for the combustion in the steam boiler is advantageously small. Further, it is possible to discharge dissolved oxygen in the heated feed water, whereby it is possible to suppress corrosion of the boiler. Further, since the feed water is heated by using the steam utilized in power generation, it is possible to effectively utilize the steam.

Next, embodiment modes of the present invention will be described.

First, a first embodiment mode of the preset invention will be described. A boiler driving power supply system according to the first embodiment mode of the preset invention is equipped with a steam power generation means provided in a steam line for supplying steam generated by a steam boiler to a load device, and a power storage means that stores the power from the steam power generation means as driving power for the steam boiler.

The steam power generation means is a power generation means that effects power generation by a turbine type or a piston type power generation system. The steam utilized in this steam power generation means is supplied to a load device. Taking into account the fact that the steam generated is utilized in the steam power generation means, the steam boiler is operated so as to generate steam at a higher pressure than the steam pressure as required in the load device.

In the boiler driving power supply system of the first embodiment mode as described above, the steam generated in the steam boiler is supplied to the load device while generating power by the steam power generation means by utilizing the steam. The power generated by the steam generating means is stored in the power storage means, and the steam boiler is driven by utilizing the power from this power storage means.

As described above, in the boiler driving power supply system of the first embodiment mode of the present invention, the steam from the steam boiler is supplied to the load device while generating power by utilizing the steam. The power thus generated is stored in the power storage means as the driving power for the steam boiler, so even at the start of the steam boiler when no steam is being supplied, it is possible to secure the requisite boiler driving power. Further, even at the time of low load operation or at the time of load fluctuation, it is possible to secure a sufficient amount of boiler driving power, making it possible to supply driving power for the steam boiler constantly in a stable manner.

Next, a second embodiment mode of the present invention will be described. In addition to the construction of the boiler driving power supply system of the first embodiment mode of the present invention, a boiler driving power supply system according to the second embodiment mode of the present invention is equipped with a feed water heating means that heats feed water to be fed to the steam boiler by using the steam utilized in the steam power generation means.

In the boiler driving power supply system of the second embodiment mode, feed water is heated by the feed water heating means, so the requisite amount of energy used for combustion in the steam boiler is advantageously small. Further, it is possible to discharge the dissolved oxygen in the heated feed water, whereby it is possible to suppress corrosion of the steam boiler. Further, since the feed water is heated by using the steam utilized in the power generation, it is possible to utilize the steam effectively.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

In the following, specific embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.

First, a first embodiment of the present invention will be described. FIG. 1 is a schematic explanatory drawing showing a construction of a boiler driving power supply system to which the present invention is applied.

As shown in FIG. 1, in a boiler driving power supply system 1, steam from a steam boiler 2 is supplied to a load device (not shown), while generating power by utilizing this steam, the power thus generated being supplied to the steam boiler 2 as driving power.

To describe the construction more specifically, the boiler driving power supply system 1 is equipped with a steam power generation means 3 and a power storage means 4. The steam power generation means 3 is provided in a steam line 5 for supplying steam generated in the steam boiler 2 to the load device, and is equipped with a steam turbine 6 and a power generator 7. Steam is supplied to the steam turbine 6 from the steam boiler 2 through the steam line 5. Further, the steam utilized in the steam turbine 6 for power generation is supplied to the load device through the steam line 5.

The steam turbine 6 is rotated by the steam from the steam line 5, and its torque is transmitted to the power generator 7 to effect power generation, the power thus obtained being stored in the power storage means 4 formed by a battery. The power stored in the power storage means 4 is supplied to the steam boiler 2, and is utilized as the driving power therefor.

Taking into account the fact that steam is utilized in the steam power generation means 3, operation is effected in the steam boiler 2 so as to generate a steam of a higher pressure than the steam pressure as required in the load device.

Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be described. FIG. 2 is a schematic explanatory drawing showing a construction of a boiler driving power supply system according to the second embodiment of the present invention.

FIG. 2 shows a boiler driving power supply system 10 according to the second embodiment of the present invention, the basic construction thereof is the same as that of the boiler driving power supply system 1 of the first embodiment of the present invention. In the following, those portions which differ from the boiler driving power supply system 1 of the first embodiment of the present invention will be described.

The boiler driving power supply system 10 is equipped with a feed water heating means 13 that heats feed water in a feed water tank 12 provided in a water supply line 11. The feed water heating means 13 is formed by connecting a heating steam supply line 14 to the feed water tank 12. One end of the heating steam supply line 14 is connected to the feed water tank 12, and another end thereof is connected to the steam turbine 6. Further, the heating steam supply line 14 is equipped with a valve 15.

The opening/closing of the valve 15 is controlled by a control portion 17 installed in the steam boiler 2 based on the detection value of a water temperature detection means 16 for detecting the temperature of the feed water in the water supply tank 12. To be more specific, when the detection value of the water temperature detection means 16 is not more than a predetermined value, the control portion 17 opens the valve 15. As a result, the steam is supplied from the steam turbine 6 to the water supply tank 12, and the feed water is heated. On the other hand, when the detection value of the water temperature detection means 16 exceeds the predetermined value, the control portion 17 closes the valve 15, and stops the supply of steam to the water supply tank 12 to stop the heating of the feed water.
