The present invention relates to a goal for ball game comprising lower widthwise pipes, lower connecting pipes, lower lengthwise pipes, vertical connecting pipes, vertical pipes, upper connecting pipes, upper widthwise pipes, the respective pipes are detachably connected one another in a tongue and groove fashion, and then are linked together by with an elastic rope, and the respective sub-pipes of two support pipe are also detachably connected in a tongue and groove fashion and are linked together by with an elastic rope, so that the goal can be assembled and disassembled easily and quickly for easy storage and transportation, and thus the players can play the ball game at any open space.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a goal for ball games, and more particularly to a light weight, foldable and portable goal assembly.

2. Description of the Prior Arts

Most of the team sports, such as football, handball, hockey and the like, are played on a field or court having two opposing goals, the players of one team compete with the players of the other to shoot the ball into the goal of the opposing team, the team with the highest points at the end of play is the winner.

Conventionally, a goal is made up of a plurality of pipes which are connected to one another by soldering other suitable means, so as to a frame fixed on the ground. This conventional goal has been used for a long period of time, however, it still has some defects that need to be improved:

First, the goal needs to be assembled and fixed to the ground by special-trained person, so the cost is relatively high.

Second, since the goal is fixed on the open ground and is exposed to sunlight, wind and rain, if it is not maintained periodically and properly, the goad will be shorten in service life, and even worse, it will be broken and falls down, possibly injuring the players.

Third, since the goad is fixed on the ground at a specific field, it cannot be moved to other field.

Fourth, the ball game only can be played on the specific field having the goals, and cannot be played on an open space without goals.

The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a goal for ball games comprising lower widthwise pipes, lower connecting pipes, lower lengthwise pipes, vertical connecting pipes, vertical pipes, upper connecting pipes, upper widthwise pipes, the respective pipes are one another in a tongue and groove fashion, and then are linked together by with an elastic rope, so that the goal can be assembled and disassembled easily and quickly for easy storage and transportation, and thus the players can play the ball game at any open space.

The goad for ball games provided in accordance with the present invention comprises:

a plurality of lower widthwise pipes being axially and detachably connected to one another in a tongue and groove fashion;

a pair of L-shaped lower connecting pipes, each having an end axially and detachably connected to an end of the lower widthwise pipes and being defined with a connecting hole;

a pair of lower lengthwise pipes, each having an end axially and detachably connected to another end of the lower connecting pipes in a tongue and groove fashion, and the two lower connecting pipes being connected between the lower lengthwise pipes and the lower widthwise pipes to form a I-shaped structure;

a pair of L-shaped vertical connecting pipes, each having an end axially and detachably connected to another end of the lower lengthwise pipes in a tongue and groove fashion;

a pair of vertical pipes each having an end axially and detachably connected to another end of the vertical connecting pipes in a tongue and groove fashion;

a pair of L-shaped upper connecting pipes, each having an end axially and detachably connected to another end of the vertical pipes in a tongue and groove fashion, and being defined with an inserting hole;

a plurality of upper widthwise pipes being axially and detachably connected to one another in a tongue and groove fashion, and both ends of the connected upper widthwise pipes being axially and detachably connected to another end of the upper connecting pipes in a tongue and groove fashion;

a pair of arc-shaped support pipes, both ends of which being detachably inserted in the inserting holes of the upper connecting pipes and the connecting holes of the lower connecting pipes;

an elastic ropes inserted through the lower widthwise pipes, the lower connecting pipes, the lower lengthwise pipes, the vertical connecting pipes, the vertical pipes, the upper connecting pipes, and the upper widthwise pipes, and then both ends of the elastic rope being tied together;

a net tied to the lower widthwise pipes, the lower connecting pipes, the lower lengthwise pipes, the vertical connecting pipes, the vertical pipes, the upper connecting pipes, the upper widthwise pipes, and the support pipes.

The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings, which show, for purpose of illustrations only, the preferred embodiments in accordance with the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Referring to FIGS. 1-3, a goal for ball games in accordance with a firs embodiment of the present invention is shown and comprises two lower widthwise pipes 10, two lower connecting pipes 20, two lower lengthwise pipes 30, two vertical connecting pipes 40, two vertical pipes 50, two upper connecting pipes 60, two upper widthwise pipes 70, two support pipes 80 and three elastic ropes 90.

The lower widthwise pipes 10 are hollow structured and are connected in a tongue and groove fashion.

The lower connecting pipes 20 are L-shaped, each of which has an end inserted in an end of the lower widthwise pipes 10 and is defined with a connecting hole 21.

The lower lengthwise pipes 30, each of which has an end connected to another end of the lower connecting pipes 20 in a tongue and groove fashion, and the two lower connecting pipes 20 are connected between the lower lengthwise pipes 30 and the lower widthwise pipes 10 to form a Π-shaped structure.

The vertical connecting pipes 40 are L-shaped, each of which has an end connected to another end of the lower lengthwise pipes 30 in a tongue and groove fashion.

Each of the vertical pipes 50 has an end connected to another end of the vertical connecting pipes 40 in a tongue and groove fashion.

The upper connecting pipes 60 are L-shaped, each of which has an end connected to another end of the vertical pipes 50 in a tongue and groove fashion, and is defined with an inserting hole 61.

The upper widthwise pipes 70 are connected to each other in a tongue and groove fashion, and both ends of the after-connected upper widthwise pipes 70 are connected to another end of the upper connecting pipes 60 in a tongue and groove fashion.

Each of the support pipes 80 consists of several arc-shaped sub-pipes 81 which are connected to one another in a tongue and groove fashion, both ends of the respective pipes 80 are inserted in the inserting holes 61 of the upper connecting pipes 60 and the connecting holes 21 of the lower connecting pipes 20, in either end of the support pipes 80 is defined a retainer 80.

One of the three elastic ropes 90 is inserted through the lower widthwise pipes 10, the lower connecting pipes 20, the lower lengthwise pipes 30, the vertical connecting pipes 40, the vertical pipes 50, the upper connecting pipes 60, and the upper widthwise pipes 70, and then both ends of this elastic rope 90 are tied together. Another two elastic ropes 90 are inserted in the support pipes 80, and both ends of the elastic ropes 90 are tied to the retainers 82.

For a better understanding of the present invention, its operation and function, references should be made to FIG. 1, 2 and 4. Since the lower widthwise pipes 10, the lower connecting pipes 20, the lower lengthwise pipes 30, the vertical connecting pipes 40, the vertical pipes 50, the upper connecting pipes 60, the upper widthwise pipes 70, and the support pipes 80 are connected to one another in a tongue and groove fashion, the goal can be assembled and disassembled easily and quickly, thus preventing the life of the goal from being adversely affected by the factors of weather.

Moreover, the elastic rope 90 is inserted through the lower widthwise pipes 10, the lower connecting pipes 20, the lower lengthwise pipes 30, the vertical connecting pipes 40, the vertical pipes 50, the upper connecting pipes 60 and the upper widthwise pipes 70, and both ends of the elastic rope 90 are tied together, therefore, the above-mentioned respective pipes will be connected in series by the elastic rope 90 after being disassembled.

Furthermore, another two elastic ropes 90 are inserted in the support pipes 80, and both ends of the elastic ropes 90 are tied to the retainers 82, so that respective sub pipes of the support pipes 80 will also be connected in series by the elastic ropes 90 after being disassembled.

After disassembling the goal, the user only needs to wrap the respective pipes up with a hook and loop tape, it is very convenient for storage and transportation.

Since the lower widthwise pipes 10, the lower connecting pipes 20, the lower lengthwise pipes 30, the vertical connecting pipes 40, the vertical pipes 50, the upper connecting pipes 60 and the upper widthwise pipes 70 are connected in series by the elastic rope 90, the goal can be folded arbitrarily according to the user's needs.

The goal can be assembled and disassembled without needing any tools.

Referring to FIG. 5, in which, the net 110 is tied to the respective pipes of the goal and provided at the peripheral edge thereof with an elastic tape 120 (indicated by the thick line), the connecting method between the elastic tape 120 and the net 110 is shown in FIGS. 6 and 7.

As shown in FIG. 6, the net 110 is made by weaving and is woven with the elastic tape 120, and in FIG. 7, the elastic tape 120 is sewn with the net 1 10.

Referring to FIG. 8, a goal for ball games in accordance with a second embodiment of the present invention is shown and is similar to that of the first embodiment, except that:

The lower widthwise pipes 10 are connected with a coupling pipe 130 and then the coupling pipe 130 is covered with a sliding bush 140.

After the vertical connecting pipes 40 are connected to the vertical pipes 50, a sliding bush 150 is used to cover the connection between the vertical connecting pipes and the vertical pipes.

The upper widthwise pipes 70 are connected with a coupling pipe 160 and then the coupling pipe 160 is covered with a sliding bush 170.

Each of the support pipes 80 consists of two hexagonal pipes 81 which are connected by a coupling pipe 180, and then a sliding bush 190 covers the coupling pipe 180. The inserting holes 61 of the upper widthwise pipes 60 and the connecting holes 21 of the lower widthwise pipes 20 are hexagonal-shaped for insertion of both ends of the support pipes 80.

Furthermore, the respective pipes can be provided with a rivet A for retaining the elastic rope.

While we have shown and described various embodiments in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.

Claims

1. A goal for ball games comprising:

a plurality of lower widthwise pipes being axially and detachably connected to one another in a tongue and groove fashion;
a pair of L-shaped lower connecting pipes, each having an end axially and detachably connected to an end of the lower widthwise pipes and being defined with a connecting hole;
a pair of lower lengthwise pipes, each having an end axially and detachably connected to another end of the lower connecting pipes in a tongue and groove fashion, and the two lower connecting pipes being connected between the lower-lengthwise pipes and the lower widthwise pipes to form a Π-shaped structure;
a pair of L-shaped vertical connecting pipes, each having an end axially and detachably connected to another end of the lower lengthwise pipes in a tongue and groove fashion;
a pair of vertical pipes each having an end axially and detachably connected to another end of the vertical connecting pipes in a tongue and groove fashion;
a pair of L-shaped upper connecting pipes, each having an end axially and detachably connected to another end of the vertical pipes in a tongue and groove fashion, and being defined with an inserting hole;
a plurality of upper widthwise pipes being axially and detachably connected to one another in a tongue and groove fashion, and both ends of the connected upper widthwise pipes being axially and detachably connected to another end of the upper connecting pipes in a tongue and groove fashion;
a pair of arc-shaped support pipes, both ends of which being detachably inserted in the inserting holes of the upper connecting pipes and the connecting holes of the lower connecting pipes;
an elastic ropes inserted through the lower widthwise pipes, the lower connecting pipes, the lower lengthwise pipes, the vertical connecting pipes, the vertical pipes, the upper connecting pipes, and the upper widthwise pipes, and then both ends of the elastic rope being tied together;
a net tied to the lower widthwise pipes, the lower connecting pipes, the lower lengthwise pipes, the vertical connecting pipes, the vertical pipes, the upper connecting pipes, the upper widthwise pipes, and the support pipes.

The goal for ball games as claimed in claim 1, wherein each of the support pipes consists of a plurality of arc-shaped sub-pipes which are axially and detachably connected to one another in a tongue and groove fashion, in either end of the support pipes is defined a retainer, and an elastic rope is inserted in each of the support pipes, and both ends of the elastic ropes are tied to the retainer.

3. The goal for ball games as claimed in claim 1, wherein the lower widthwise pipes are connected with a coupling pipe and then the coupling pipe is covered with a sliding bush.

4. The goal for ball games as claimed in claim 1, wherein a sliding bush is used to cover is provided at a connection between the vertical connecting pipes and the vertical pipes.

5. The goal for ball games as claimed in claim 1, wherein the upper widthwise pipes are connected with a coupling pipe and then the coupling pipe is covered with a sliding bush.

6. The goal for ball games as claimed in claim 1, wherein an elastic tape is provided on a peripheral edge of the net.

7. The goal for ball games as claimed in claim 2, wherein the inserting hole of the upper widthwise pipes and the connecting hole of the lower widthwise pipes are hexagonal-shaped for insertion of the support pipes.

8. The goal for ball games as claimed in claim 6, wherein the net is made by weaving and is woven with the elastic tape.

9. The goal for ball games as claimed in claim 6, wherein the net is sewn with the elastic tape.

10. The goal for ball games as claimed in claim 7, wherein the respective sub-pipes are connected to each other by a coupling pipe, and then the coupling pipe is covered with a sliding bush.
