The invention relates to a construction element for heat and/or sound insulation between two construction parts, in particular between a building part and a supported construction part, comprising an insulating body to be arranged between the two construction parts having reinforcement elements that can be connected to both construction parts and crossing said insulating body and a fire protection element.
Such construction elements for heat and/or noise insulation are known, for example, from DE 296 06 209.4, and comprise an insulating body surrounding reinforcement elements inside, a groove, which is surrounded on its outside by a fire protection cover made from mineral wool, in order to protect the reinforcement from heat and/or fire impact, and thus to maintain the static substance of the corresponding building even after a fire.
SUMMARYThe use of fire protection elements is not only proven, but is also mandatory and, in particular after several years of experience with such fire protection elements, now there is a demand for further developing and improving construction elements for heat and/or noise insulation with fire protective covers.
This object is attained according to the invention in that the fire protection element is provided with weather proofing and aging protection in the form of a cover, which advantageously continuously encloses the fire protection element at all sides and thus protects it from influences of weather and other aging effects, which otherwise may degrade the fire protective features of the fire protection elements.
The cover advantageously comprises foils or laminates and is made from plastic or metal, in particular, with the cover being closed by way of adhesion, welding, or similar types of connection. Here, it is also possible for the cover to be embodied as a tube, so that it can be cut to a predetermined longitudinal measurement and can be closed by end caps, allowing the fire protection element and the cover itself to be processed even on the construction site.
Advantageously, the fire protection element with the cover is arranged above and/or below the insulating body and extends parallel to the longitudinal extension of the insulating body on its top and/or bottom, by which the groove remaining between the two construction parts is sealed towards the top and/or the bottom and thus the reinforcement extending through the groove is correspondingly protected. Additionally, the fire protection element can also be arranged laterally to the insulating body and, in this manner, form together with the upper and lower fire protection elements, for example, an enclosing fire protection device.
With regard to the fire protection element itself, it is formed in a conventional manner in form of a mat or laminate and comprises mineral wool. However, by the cover it is also possible for the fire protection element to comprise smaller particles that can be poured, for example, the cover ensures the required shape adjusted to the insulating body. In this way, for example, intumescent elements can be combined with other insulating materials and fill the cover, so that entirely new possibilities develop with regard to the fire protection elements.

In conclusion, the present invention provides a construction element for heat and/or noise insulation, which is provided with an aging resistant and weather proofing fire protection element, with the fire protection element being protected from environmental influences in a simple manner. Such a fire protection element can be used, for example, for construction elements for heat insulation with protruding exterior parts as well as, for example, for the noise insulation of construction elements in staircases, stair landings, or the like or for additional applications, in which grooves and particularly reinforcements extending through such grooves have to be protected from fire.
