Disc box structure

A disc box structure according to the present invention includes a shell and an auxiliary support. The shell has a base, and a stand protruding upwardly from the base for accommodating a disc. The auxiliary support includes a pivot connected to the base, a lateral arm arranged to a side of the pivot, a pressing portion disposed over the lateral arm, and a stand connected to an opposite side of the pivot. Therefore, the pressing portion is pressed down to release the disc in order to lift the auxiliary support upwards, so that the disc is raised for easy removal.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a disc box structure, and especially to a disc box structure with an auxiliary support.

2. Description of the Related Art

A conventional disc box, a container for receiving a disc, is disclosed in FIGS. 1 to 2A. The conventional disc box includes a shell 10a, a base 11a arranged on the shell 10a, a stand 12a disposed at a central portion of the base 11a, and a clamping structure 20a connected to the base 11a. The stand 12a includes a resilient member 12a. The clamping structure 20a has a pressing portion 21a connected to the base 11a. When the disc is replaced on the conventional disc box, a peripheral portion adjacent to a center through hole of the disc contacts a protruding portion 122a (in FIG. 2A) of the resilient member 121a and the pressing portion 21a of the clamping structure. Thus, the resilient member 121a and the pressing portion 21a will deform to generate a squeezing force against the peripheral portion adjacent to the center through hole of the disc. When the disc is removed the conventional disc box, the pressing portion 21a should be pressed down to balance the squeezing force for releasing the disc.

However, the clamping portion 211a of the pressing portion 21a often interferes with the peripheral portion of the disc when the pressing portion is pressed down, so that the disc is difficult to take out.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

A disc box structure is provided with an auxiliary support, which includes a pressing portion for releasing and then lifting a disc. Therefore, the disc is easily removed without interference via a peripheral of a through hole.

A disc box structure according to the present invention includes a shell and an auxiliary support. The shell has a base, and a stand protruding upwardly from the base for accommodating a disc. The auxiliary support includes a pivot connected to the base, a lateral arm arranged to a side of the pivot, a pressing portion disposed over the lateral arm, and a stand connected to an opposite side of the pivot.

It is to be understood that both the foregoing general description and the following detailed description are exemplary, and are intended to provide further explanation of the invention as claimed. Other advantages and features of the invention will be apparent from the following description, drawings and claims.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

With respect to FIGS. 3 to 4A, a disc box structure according to the present invention includes a shell 10 and an auxiliary support 20. The shell 10 is made of plastic material, and has a base 11, and a stand 12 protruding upwardly from the base 11 for accommodating a disc. The stand 12 protrudes out of an inner surface of the base 11.

The shell 10 has a thickness of 6.0 to 8.0 mm, so that the total size thereof shrinks and occupies less space.

The stand 12 and the base 11 are made integrally in one piece for accommodating the disc, so that the disc can be prevented from scraping and damaging a disc. The stand 12 has a pair of resilient members 121, which are arched and surround two lateral sides of the auxiliary support 20 respectively. Each of the resilient members 121 has a projecting portion 122 arranged at an exterior part of a top thereof for further securing the disc.

The auxiliary support 20 includes a pivot 21 connected to the base 11, a lateral arm 22 arranged to a side of the pivot 11, a pressing portion 23 disposed over the lateral arm 22, and a raising portion 24 connected to an opposite side of the pivot 11. The lateral arm 22 has an upper portion connected to the pressing portion 23. The raising portion 24 is a sheet tilting upwardly. The base 11 has a cutout 111 corresponding to the raising portion 24. The pressing portion 23 has a clamping portion 231 that is adjacent to one end of the raising portion 24, and an included angle α between each respective one of two lateral sides of the clamping portion 231 and a central line of the pressing portion 23. The included angle ranges between 20±10 degrees.

While the disc is replaced on the stand 12, a peripheral portion adjacent to a center through hole of the disc contacts a protruding portion 122 of the resilient member 121 and a clamping portion 231 of the pressing portion 23. Thus, the resilient member 121 and the pressing portion 23 will deform to generate a squeezing force against the peripheral portion adjacent to the center through hole of the disc. When the disc is removed the disc box structure, the pressing portion 23 should be pressed down to balance the squeezing force for releasing the disc from the clamping portion 231 of the pressing portion 23. Because of the included angle, two inclined surfaces are formed thereby and the disc can move away along the two inclined surfaces. When the pressing portion is pressed down, the raising portion 24 is driven to rise via the pivot 21; thereby the disc is easily removed.

According to the present invention, the pressing portion 23 is pressed down to release the disc in order to carry the auxiliary support 20, includes a configured clamping portion 231 of the pressing portion 23, upwards so that the disc is raised for easy removal.

Although the present invention has been described with reference to the preferred embodiments thereof, it will be understood that the invention is not limited to the details thereof. Various substitutions and modifications have been suggested in the foregoing description, and others will occur to those of ordinary skill in the art. Therefore, all such substitutions and modifications are intended to be embraced within the scope of the invention as defined in the appended claims.

Claims

1. A disc box structure comprising:

a shell having a base, and a stand protruding upwardly from the base for accommodating a disc; and
an auxiliary support including a pivot connected to the base, a lateral arm arranged to a side of the pivot, a pressing portion disposed over the lateral arm, and a raising portion connected to an opposite side of the pivot.

2. The disc box structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the shell has a thickness of 6.0 to 8.0 mm.

3. The disc box structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the base has a cutout corresponding to the raising portion.

4. The disc box structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the stand and the base are made integrally in one piece.

5. The disc box structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the stand includes a pair of resilient members, which are arched and surround two lateral sides of the auxiliary support respectively, each of the resilient members has a projecting portion arranged at an exterior part of a top thereof.

6. The disc box structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the pressing portion has a clamping portion that is adjacent to one end of the raising portion, and an included angle between each respective one of two lateral sides of the clamping portion and a central line of the pressing portion.
