Trousers with an auxiliary supportive crotch pouch

The invention is trousers with an auxiliary supportive crotch pouch. The pouch is a piece of cloth of two ends. One end of it is attached to the bottom seam of the trousers or its nearby place. The other end is attached to the waist, the waist belt, the elastic cord or its nearby place. The piece of cloth forms a curved, suspended pouch when the penis is placed in it. The pouch can secure the penis and support the weight of the testicles. Since the penis is secured and does not swing loosely, the pouch can effectively prevent contact between the penis and the crotch, preventing friction and the occurrence of tinea cruris (a rash).

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1) Field of the Invention

The invention is related to trousers with an auxiliary supportive crotch pouch, in particular, the kind of trousers with a supportive design to secure the penis and, by reducing direct contact between the penis and the legs, to prevent friction and the occurrence of tinea cruris (a rash).

2) Description of the Prior Art

As known, pants of all types, boy-leg or surf pants, typically are of set design. With boy-legs, the penis is better secured but the ventilation is less than satisfactory. Although surf pants solve the ventilation problem, they cannot support the weight of the testicles and the penis may dangle loosely. Men sometimes unconsciously re-position the penis to reduce discomfort in public. This invention is meant to address the above problems.

The dangling penis in pants increases contact between the legs and the sex organ, especially the testicles. Friction and sweating cause tinea crusis (a rash) that is difficult to cure and patients are sometimes too embarrassed to seek treatment. This severely affects the patients physically and mentally. This invention tries to effectively prevent these problems from happening.

FIG. 1 depicts obliquely the relationship between a pair of surf pants and the penis. There is nothing between the penis 4 and the crotch 11 of the pants 1 (marked X in FIG. 1).

In addition to the prior kind of pants just depicted, long and short leisure pants, sports pants, swim pants, kung fu wear and even slacks usually have the traditional crotch without a supportive pouch. They are plagued by similar problems. This invention revolutionizes the design of a crotch to solve these problems.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The object of this invention is to address the flaws just mentioned. After much creative thinking and repeated experiments, the applicant is pleased to have developed a reliable supportive pouch to reinforce the crotch of pants, reducing contact between the sex organ and the legs and preventing friction and rashes.

The secondary object of this invention is to provide the protection the penis to prevent it from dangling or swinging.

With this invention, the auxiliary supportive crotch pouch is a piece of cloth affixed to the inside of the trousers. One end of the cloth is affixed to the bottom of the pants where the seam is or its nearby place. The other end is affixed to the waist, the waist belt, the elastic cord or its nearby place.

The auxiliary supportive crotch pouch is a piece of cloth affixed to the inside of the pants. One end of the cloth is attached to the seam at the bottom of the pants or its nearby place. It can be pre-pleated or pre-folded and then sewed on top of the seam. The other end of the cloth can be sewed onto the waist, the waist belt, the elastic cord or its nearby place. Again, it can be pre-pleated or pre-folded and then sewed. The creases of any kind can be pre-made or the cloth can be sewed directly onto the elastic cord.

The so called “the seam at the bottom of the pants or its nearby place” refers to the rear end of the central seam at the bottom of the pants.

The length of the supportive pouch (the piece of cloth) from the bottom seam to the waist is a little shorter than the distance from the bottom seam to the waist. By being a little shorter, the supportive cloth forms a curved, suspended pouch in which the penis is to be placed. The pouch can secure the penis and support the weight of the testicles. Since the penis is secured and does not swing loosely, the pouch can effectively prevent contact between the penis and the crotch, reducing friction and the occurrence of tinea cruris (a rash).

The herein said protective crotch pouch can be manufactured using cloth with good permeability, absorbent cotton, anti-fungus, anti-bacteria, or electromagnetic wave-proof cloth with good functionality and protection, or porous or netted cloth. The material can be natural or synthetic, elastic or non-elastic. The invention can even be used in women's wear. The application of the invention is not restricted to just the ones mentioned above.

In addition, the two sides of the pouch are equipped with elastic cords to help wrap and support the sex organ.

This invention of trousers with a supportive crotch pouch can be used in all kind of garments for the lower body including pants and briefs, shorts, long trousers, leisure pants, sports pants, swim pants, kung fu wear and even slacks. Trousers with a supportive crotch pouch can be worn as they are or as an addition to regular pants. Applications of this nature are not excluded.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PERFERRED EMBODIMENT

The object of this invention is trousers with an auxiliary supportive crotch pouch with one end of it affixed to the seam at the bottom of the pants or its nearby place and the other end affixed to the waist, the waist belt, the elastic cord or its nearby place.

Referring to FIGS. 2 and 3, a supportive pouch 3 is affixed to the inside of the prior crotch 21 in the pants. One end 31 of the pouch 3 is sewed with pleats to the central seam 22 of the pants 2 while the other end 32 is sewed (with pleats) onto the elastic cord 23 at the waist. The crease can be pre-made or formed when the cloth is sewed onto the elastic cord 23.

The length of the supportive pouch 3 from the bottom seam 22 to the waist is a little shorter than the distance from the bottom seam 22 to the waist. By being a little shorter, the creased pouch 3 forms a vertically suspended curved bag 3 that wraps the penis 4, keeps the penis 4 in place and supports the penis 4 (and, especially, the testicles), preventing dangling of penis 4 and the contact between the penis 4 and the crotch, avoiding friction and preventing the occurrence of tinea cruris (a rash).

FIG. 4 is another embodiment of this invention. In this embodiment, one end 31 of the pouch 3 is sewed onto the rear 22′ of the crotch seam 22 of the pants 2. The other end 32 of the pouch 3 is sewed directly to the waist belt, the elastic cord 23 or its nearby place. The length of the supportive pouch from the rear part of the crotch seam 22′ at the bottom of the pants 2 to the waist is a little shorter than the distance from the crotch seam 22′ to the waist. By being a little shorter, the said crotch 3 pouch 31 with creases, sewed onto the crotch or waist with or without folds, covers and wraps the top and bottom ends of the penis 4.

FIGS. 5, 6 are further embodiments of the supportive crotch pouch 3. They show how the ends 31′ and 31″ of the crotch pouch, with simple crease, can be affixed at both ends forming a curved, suspended bag in which the penis 4 can be securely placed.

FIG. 7 is another further embodiment of trousers with the said supportive crotch pouch, which has an elastic cord 33 on both sides to help wrap the penis 4.

The above-mentioned preferred embodiments are not meant to restrict the applications of this invention. Within the scope of the claim and in the spirit of this invention, the invention can be transformed or modified in various means. The material of the pouch cloth can be natural or synthetic, elastic or non-elastic. The invention can also be applied to women's wear. These and others should be within the claim of this invention.

In summary, this invention of trousers with a supportive crotch pouch is a classic innovation. Its constructs and usefulness meet the requirements for patent application. Early approval of this patent application is greatly appreciated.
