Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention is related to a panel wiper including a wiping member having a cleaning plate. The cleaning plate has at least one acute wiping corner for extending into the respective corners of the panel to reciprocally wipe and clean up the panel.

2. Description of the Prior Art

Various types of liquid crystal displays and plasma displays have been developed to replace the early cathode-ray tubes. After a period of use, the panel of the display tends to be contaminated with dusts. Under such circumstance, the image will become fogged. In order to overcome this problem, a type of panel wiper has been developed for wiping the panel of the liquid crystal display or plasma display as shown in FIG. 5. The panel wiper 90 has a handle 91 and a transverse board 92 connected with a front end of the handle 91. A fabric-made cleaning member 93 is fixed on a front side of the transverse board 92. A user can reciprocally wipe a panel 30 with such wiper 90 to clean off the dusts.

However, the fabric-made cleaning member 93 has arced corners which can hardly reach the innermost corners 31 of the panel 30. Therefore, it is quite hard to use such wiper to fully clean off the dusts accumulating in the corners 31 of the panel 30.

Moreover, when wiping the panel, generally a cleaning liquid is sprayed onto the panel 30. Therefore, the cleaning member 93 of the wiper 90 will be wetted after wiping the panel 30. The conventional wiper 90 lacks any specific rest or storage unit. Therefore, it is uneasy for the wiper 90 to dry up after used. As a result, bacteria tend to culture in the cleaning member 93.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

It is therefore a primary object of the present invention to provide a panel wiper having a cleaning plate. The cleaning plate has at least one acute wiping corner which can freely extend into the innermost corners of the panel to effectively clean off the dusts and dirt accumulating in the corners.

It is a further object of the present invention to provide the above panel wiper which is equipped with a holder, whereby the wiping member can be rested on a holder and well stored after used.

It is still a further object of the present invention to provide the above panel wiper in which the holder is formed with vents for speeding drying of the cleaning plate after used to avoid cultivation of bacteria.

According to the above objects, the panel wiper of the present invention includes:

a wiping member including a baseboard section and a cleaning plate connected under a bottom of the baseboard section, the cleaning plate having at least one acute wiping corner for extending into respective corners of the panel to reciprocally wipe and clean up the panel; and

a holder having a bed section and an annular wall section swelling from a circumference of the bed section, the annular wall section being formed with several receptacles adapted to a profile of the baseboard section of the wiping member, whereby the wiping member can be seated in the receptacles and stably rested on the bed section.

In the above panel wiper, multiple supporting stands are arranged under a bottom of the bed section and the bed section is formed with multiple vents.

In the above panel wiper, the wiping member further has a knob section protruding from an upper side of the baseboard section. The knob section has a lower narrower neck portion and an upper enlarged head section obliquely upward extending from the neck section.

In the above panel wiper, the baseboard section and the cleaning plate of the wiping member are triangular.

Still according to the above objects, the panel wiper of the present invention includes a wiping member having a baseboard section and a cleaning plate connected under a bottom of the baseboard section. The cleaning plate has at least one acute wiping corner for extending into respective corners of the panel to reciprocally wipe and clean up the panel.

Still according to the above objects, the panel wiper of the present invention includes a wiping member having a baseboard section and a cleaning plate connected under a bottom of the baseboard section. The baseboard section is triangular and has three acute angles. The cleaning plate is triangular corresponding to the baseboard section and has three acute angles for extending into respective corners of the panel to reciprocally wipe and clean up the panel.

The present invention can be best understood through the following description and accompanying drawings wherein:

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the present invention, in which the wiping member is separated from the holder;

FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the present invention, in which the wiping member is seated and rested on the holder;

FIG. 3 is a sectional view taken along line 3-3 of FIG. 2;

FIG. 4 is a plane view showing that the wiping member reaches an innermost corner of the panel; and

FIG. 5 is a plane view showing that the conventional panel wiper can hardly reach the innermost corner of the panel.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Please refer to FIGS. 1 to 4. The panel wiper of the present invention includes a wiping member 10 and a holder 20. The wiping member 10 includes a baseboard section 11 and a cleaning plate 12 connected under a bottom of the baseboard section 11. The cleaning plate 12 has at least one acute wiping corner 121 for extending into the respective corners 31 of the panel 30 to reciprocally fully wipe and clean off the dusts. The holder 20 has a bed section. 21 and an annular wall section 22 swelling from a circumference of the bed section 21. The annular wall section 22 is formed with several receptacles 221 adapted to the profile of the baseboard section 11 of the wiping member 10. Accordingly, the wiping member 10 can be seated in the receptacles 221 and stably rested on the bed section 21. Multiple supporting stands 23 are arranged under a bottom of the bed section 21. In addition, the bed section 21 is formed with multiple vents 211. Accordingly, the cleaning plate 12 of the wiping member 10 can contact with external air to speed the drying of the cleaning plate 12.

Referring to FIG. 3, the wiping member 10 further has a knob section 112 protruding from an upper side of the baseboard section 11. The knob section 112 has a lower narrower neck portion 112a and an upper enlarged head section 112b obliquely upward extending from the neck section 112a. The knob section 112 is such designed as to meet the configuration of human hand, whereby a user can comfortably hold the wiping member 10 with one hand to wipe the panel of a liquid crystal display.

The baseboard section 11 of the wiping member 10 has at least one acute corner 11a corresponding to the acute wiping corner 121 of the cleaning plate 12, whereby the acute corner 11a can extend into the respective corners 31 of the panel 30 along with the acute wiping corner 121 of the cleaning plate 12 for reciprocally wiping the corners 31. The baseboard section 11 and the cleaning plate 12 can be triangular or otherwise shaped. This is not limited.

When wiping a panel, a user can first spray a cleaning liquid onto the panel and then take up the wiping member 10 from the holder 20. Then the user can wipe the panel 30 with the cleaning plate 12 of the wiping member 10, which has a considerably large area. Moreover, the acute wiping corner 121 of the cleaning plate 12 can extend into the corner 31 of the panel 30 to fully clean up the panel. After wiping the panel 30, the wiping member 10 is rested on the holder 20. The bed section 21 of the holder 20 is elevated by the supporting stands 23 so that the holder 20 is suspended. Accordingly, after wiping the panel 30, the cleaning liquid of the wetted cleaning plate 12 can evaporate and escape through the vents 211 of the bed section 21. Also, the external air can go through the vents 211 into the cleaning plate 12 of the wiping member 10 to quickly dry the cleaning plate 12. Accordingly, the wiping member 10 can be stored without cultivation of bacteria.

According to the above arrangement, the panel wiper of the present invention has the following advantages:

1. The acute wiping corner 121 of the cleaning plate 12 of the wiping member 10 can freely extend into the innermost corners 31 of the panel 30 to effectively clean off the dusts and dirt accumulating in the corners 31.

2. The wiping member 10 can be rested on the holder 20 and well stored after used.

3. The holder 20 is formed with vents 211 for speeding drying of the cleaning plate 12 to avoid cultivation of bacteria.

The above embodiments are only used to illustrate the present invention, not intended to limit the scope thereof. Many modifications of the above embodiments can be made without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
