Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to carrying cases, and more specifically to a realtor kit including a series of carrying cases used for transporting real estate sale signs, real estate rider signs, and real estate lock boxes.

2. Description of the Related Art

Real estate agents are often required to carry around numerous necessities from property to property during the ordinary course of business. These necessities include real estate sale signs, real estate rider signs, and real estate lock boxes. Many of these items are heavy and cumbersome, making them very difficult to store and carry. Sale signs and rider signs are also very expensive, and it is necessary that they be protected during transportation from location to location.

What is needed is a realtor kit that includes a series of carrying cases that allows a realtor to easily transport all of their necessities, including real estate sale signs, real estate rider signs, and real estate lock boxes, from location to location. It is desirable that these cases protect the appearance of the signs and make the items carried inside easily accessible at a moments notice.

None of the above inventions and patents, taken either singly or in combination, is seen to describe the instant invention as claimed. Thus, a realtor kit solving the aforementioned problems is desired.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The realtor kit of the present invention includes a rigid case designed for carrying real estate sale signs, a pliable case designed for carrying real estate sale signs, a case designed for carrying real estate rider signs, and a case designed for carrying real estate lock boxes.

The rigid portable case for carrying real estate sale signs has a container, a cover, a plurality of dividers, a pair of wheels, and a lifting strap. The container has a back side, a top side, a bottom side, and opposing lateral sides joined together to form an enclosure with an open side. The cover is connected to the container and covers the open side of the container and is independently openable and closable. Each divider is a loose, flexible piece of material that extends between the top side and the bottom side of the container and is used to separate the plurality of real estate sale signs that can be held within the container. The wheels are located at the junction of the bottom side and the back side of the container. The lifting strap is integrated into one of the opposing lateral sides of the container and extends a distance beyond the cover, making it easy for the case to be lifted in and out of tight places, such as automobile trunks and truck beds.

The portable case for carrying real estate lock boxes has a container, a plurality of vertical dividers within the container, a means for securing the container in a closed position, and a pair of handles. The container has a bottom side, a back flap, a front flap, and opposing lateral sides joined together to form an enclosure with a top opening. The back flap and front flap are connectable along a top side as to make the container independently openable and cloasable along the top opening. The vertical dividers are each attached along the bottom side of the container and extend to a free end located substantially near the top opening of the container. The handles are attached to the top sides of the front and back flaps for easy carrying of the case when it is in the closed and secured position.

The portable case for carrying real estate rider signs has a container, a cover, a plurality of dividers, and a pair of carrying straps. The container includes a back side, a top side, a bottom side, and opposing lateral sides joined together to form an enclosure with an open side. The cover is connected to the container and covers the open side of the container and is independently openable and closable. Each divider is attached along the bottom side of the container and extends to a free end located substantially near the top side of the container. One carrying strap is attached to the cover and extends from a point adjacent to the bottom side near one of the lateral sides to a point adjacent to the bottom side near the opposite lateral side. The other carrying strap is identical and is attached to the back side, extending from a point adjacent to the bottom side near one of the lateral sides to a point adjacent to the bottom side near the opposite lateral side.

The pliable portable case for carrying real estate sale signs has a container, a plurality of vertical dividers within the container, a cover, a means for securing the cover in a closed position over the top of the container, a pair of wheels, and a pair of handles. The container includes a bottom side, a back side, a front side, and opposing lateral sides joined together to form an enclosure with a top opening. Each vertical divider is attached along the bottom side of the container and extends to a free end located substantially near the top opening of the container. The cover is secured to the container and covers the top opening of the container and is independently openable and closable and includes a means for securing the cover in a closed position over the top opening of the container. The wheels are located at the junction of the bottom side and the back side of the container. One handle is attached to the exterior of the front side of the container, while the other is attached along the exterior surface of the cover.

These and other features of the present invention will become readily apparent upon further review of the following specification and drawings.

Referring to FIGS. 1-2, rigid case 10 is shown including a container, a cover 108, a plurality of loose dividers 110, a pair of wheels 114, and a lifting strap 116. The container is defined by a back side 102, a top side 100, a bottom side 104, and opposing lateral sides 106, which are joined together to form an enclosure with an open side. Cover 108 is connected to the container along one of the lateral sides 106 and covers the open side of the container. Cover 108 is connected to the container such that it is independently openable and closable with the use of a zippered connection.

The dividers 110 are loose. Flexible dividers that are each designed to extend between top side 100 and bottom side 104 of the container. Dividers 110 allow a plurality of real estate sale signs S to be separated and stored inside rigid case 10 such that they are easily accessible and are prevented from rubbing or grinding against one another, thus causing damage to the signs. Wheels 114 are located at the junction of bottom side 104 and back side 102 of the container. Wheels 114 allow rigid case 10 to be easily transported along the ground. Lifting strap 116 is integrated into one of opposing lateral sides 106 of the container and extends a distance beyond cover 108 when it is in the closed position. Lifting strap 116 makes it easy for the case to be lifted in and out of tight places, such as automobile trunks and truck beds.

Referring to FIGS. 3-4, pliable case 20 is shown including a container, a plurality of vertical dividers 208 within the container, a cover 206, a pair of wheels 216, a means for securing the cover in a closed position over the top opening of the container, a first handle 210, and a second handle 214. The container is defined by a bottom side 204, a back side (not shown), a front side 200, and opposing lateral sides 202 joined together to form an enclosure with a top opening.

Vertical dividers 208 are each attached along bottom side 204 of the container and extend to a free end located substantially near the top opening of the container. Cover 206 is secured to the container and covers the top opening of the container. Cover 206 is independently openable and closable and includes a means 212 for securing cover 206 in a closed position over the top opening of the container. In the preferred embodiment, means for securing cover 206 in a closed position over the top opening of the container includes one or more strap and buckle combinations 212. Other means may include zippers, snaps, and Velcro. Wheels 216 are located at the junction of bottom side 204 and back side of the container. First handle 210 is attached to the exterior surface of front side 200 of the container to assist in the lifting and carrying of pliable case 20. Second handle 214 is attached to the exterior surface of cover 206 to assist in the lifting and carrying of pliable case 20.

Turning next to FIG. 5, portable case 30, designed specifically for carrying real estate rider signs, is shown. Case 30 includes a container, a cover 308, a plurality of dividers 310, and a pair of carrying straps 314.
