Long-shaped bath brush

A long-shaped bath brush includes an elongated body, an elastic mesh tube and a fixing member. The elongated body has a grip portion and a rack portion which is provided with a clipping space, a clipping rod is extended from the rack portion to the clipping space, and a separate opening end formed between one end of the clipping rod and the rack portion, wherein the one end of the clipping rod is not connected to the rack portion. The elastic mesh tube is disposed in the clipping space, and is clipped and fixed by the clipping rod and the rack portion. The fixing member is disposed at the opening end, whereby the elastic mesh tube is not escaped from the clipping space. The long-shaped bath brush of the present invention has simple structure and processes for fixing the elastic mesh tube.

Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a bath brush, and more particularly to a bath-cleaning tool capable of being quickly assembled and firmly positioned.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Recently, usual cleaning agents are mainly soaps and a shower gels. The soap is solid soap body before the soap is used for cleaning for bath, and thus a user must wet the soap body by water and then rub the hand against the soap body, thereby making the foam and then processing to clean. However, the soap is soaked to the surface by the water and the foam after used for cleaning for bath. If the soap is directly put in a soap box or other container after used, the eroded filth appears because of wetness, such that it is not convenient for the user. Thus, the business develops the shower gels. The shower gel is a liquid soap body, which is directly smeared to make the foam to clean and is put in the container so as to solve the problem of the eroded filth. However, it cannot achieve the object of maximum effect to only smear the shower gel by the hand, because the shower gel has the property of concentrate and the foam cannot be decomposed to small molecule. Also, the user only use hand to smear the shower gel to clean, but the foam cannot go deeply into pores.

Thus, the business further develop a bath brush, which has a mesh body weaved by the mesh body structure. When the bath brush is used for bath cleaning, the tiny meshes of the mesh body can carry the water and the shower gel and thus only using a little shower gel can clean the whole body of the user. The mesh bath brush not only saves the amount of the shower gel, but also increases the foam, the removal of dust and the effect of massage of human body.

However, Taiwan Patent Publication No. 526748 disclosed a conventional bath brush, which includes a body and a plurality of bath balls. The body is annular and made of suitably elastic and absorbent material. The bath balls are respectively mounted on the body within a suitable and determined distance apart. The conventional bath brush further includes at least one elastic mesh tube and at least one binding member. The elastic mesh tube is constricted by the binding member through the circumference thereof been waved and crimped. And the bath balls tightly approach the circumference of the body. However, the binding location of the binding member is so rough that the skin is discomfort due to been excessively rubbed during using.

In addition, Taiwan Patent Publication No. 416301 and the U.S. corresponding patent with U.S. Pat. No. 6,092,258, disclosed another conventional bath brush, which includes an elastic mesh tube, a grip member and a binding member. The elastic mesh tube with a predetermined length and diameter is axially pushed and compressed, whereby the circumference thereof is continuously waved and crimped. The grip member disposed on an outer side of the elastic mesh tube is disposed with a first fixing portion and a second fixing portion spaced from each other by a predetermined distance and at least one third fixing portion between the first and second fixing portions, the first, second and third fixing portions being substantially linearly arranged in a direction parallelly to the axis of the mesh tube. The binding member has a predetermined length and flexibility and formed with a first and a second binding section spaced from each other by a predetermined distance, a pressing section between the first and second binding sections and at least one third binding section disposed on the pressing section, the third binding section corresponding to the third fixing portions in number, whereby the first binding section serves to fix a part of one end of the mesh tube on the first fixing portion and the second binding section serves to fix a part of the other end of the mesh tube on the second fixing portion, while the pressing section serves to press a middle portion of the mesh tube against a section of the grip member between the first and second fixing portions, the third binding section serving to fix the pressing section on the corresponding third fixing portion. Although the above-mentioned bath brush can increase the effect of the removal of dust, but the whole structure of the bath brush is complex because the elastic mesh tube is fixed to the grip member by a binding, and the binding needs a plurality of cords and corresponding holes for fixing the elastic mesh tube. Furthermore, when the bath brush is manufactured, the binding member is wound between the first, second and third fixing portions for fixing the elastic mesh tube. It increases the difficulty of manufacturing process and the manufacturing time. In addition, when the bath brush is really used, the binding member is loose because of long-term use, or it is easy for bacteria to propagate at the binding member because the binding member is made of cotton or linear cord material and often soaked in the water, whereby the bath brush is not durable and beautiful and further affects the skin health of the user.

Taiwan Utility Model Publication No. 582263 disclosed a conventional bath brush, wherein the mesh bodies must be provided with a assembling member, and then the assembling member is snapped into corresponding holes of a rod body. Thus, the mesh bodies and the assembling member must be assembled to each other before each mesh body is assembled to the rod body. Evidently, it increases many assembly steps.

Taiwan Utility Model Publication No. 582264 disclosed the improvement of a conventional bath brush disclosed in the above Taiwan Utility Model Publication No. 582263. A cleaning member is disposed on a disposing portion of a stem body by using a rod-shaped assembling member during one assembling step, wherein the assembling member and the deposing portion are respectively provided with a snapping element and a snapping hole, whereby the assembling member and the stem body can be assembled to each other and simultaneously the cleaning member is clipped and positioned.

According to the technical feature of Taiwan Utility Model Publication No. 582263 and No. 582264, all the mesh bodies are positioned on the rod body by using the snapping processes of the snapping element and the snapping hole. Thus, the snapping connection between the snapping element and the snapping hole is possibly fallen off during using the bath brush, whereby it is easy that the user feel very inconvenient. In addition, according to maker of the bath brush, the manufacturing processes are complex, and the manufacturing cost is substantially increased because the bath brush needs many components.

Accordingly, there exists a need for an long-shaped bath brush to solve the above-mentioned disadvantages.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

It is an object of the present invention to provide a bath-cleaning tool capable of being quickly assembled, firmly positioned and durable.

In order to achieve the object, the present invention provides an long-shaped bath brush includes an elongated body, an elastic mesh tube and a fixing member. The elongated body has a grip portion and a rack portion which is provided with a clipping space, a clipping rod extended from the rack portion to the clipping space, and a separate opening end formed between one end of the clipping rod and the rack portion, wherein the elastic mesh tube is inserted into the clipping space through the opening end. The fixing member is disposed at the opening end, whereby the elastic mesh tube is not escaped from the clipping space. Comparing with the prior art, the present invention does not utilize complex winding processes of cord material to fix the elastic mesh tube. According to the present invention, the elastic mesh tube is quickly and firmly fixed on the elongated body by the clipping rod.

The foregoing, as well as additional objects, features and advantages of the invention will be more readily apparent from the following detailed description, which proceeds with reference to the accompanying drawings.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Referring to FIGS. 1-3, they depict an exploded perspective schematic view, a decomposed perspective schematic view and a partially perspective schematic view of an long-shaped bath brush according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention. As shown in the above-mentioned figures, the long-shaped bath brush includes an elongated body 1, which has a grip portion 10 to be griped by a human hand and a rack portion 20. A clipping space 21 is form in the rack portion 20, and a clipping rod 22 is extended from the rack portion 20 through the clipping space 21. An opening end 23 is formed in one end of the clipping rod 22 and the rack portion 20,and not connected to the rack portion 20, whereby an elastic mesh tube 2 can be put though the opening end 23 into the clipping space 21, and then a fixing member 3 is adapted to fix the opening end 23 so as to form the long-shaped bath brush.

Referring to FIG. 1 again, the present invention is characterized in that: when the elastic mesh tube 2 is requested to be assembled, the opening end 23 can be pulled open and then the elastic mesh tube 2 is easily assembled by means of the flexibility of the clipping rod 22. The elastic mesh tube 2 is continuously put into the clipping space 21 to form the creases and make the elastic mesh tube 2 soft and with gaps. The thickness of the heaped elastic mesh tube 2 deforms the clipping rod 22, and thus the opening end 23 is provided with the fixing member 3 for binding the clipping rod 22, whereby the elastic mesh tube 2 can be fully clipped between the rack portion 20 and the clipping rod 22, and can be bound by the fixing member 3 to avoid escaping from the clipping space 21.

In order to prevent the elastic mesh tube 2 from slipping in the clipping space 21 of the present invention and to result in better effect when the bath brush is used, protrusions 201, 221 are respectively extended from the rack portion 20 and the clipping rod 22 in the clipping space 21. Preferably, the protrusions 201, 221 are spaced apart each other, and then the elastic mesh tube 2 can not be slipped in the clipping space 21, whereby the user can indeed clean by the elastic mesh tube 2 without slip.

In addition, according to an alternative embodiment of the present invention, referring to FIG. 3, one end of the rack portion 20 located at the opening end 23 is integral and is not crotched, wherein the clipping space 21 is located in the center of the rack portion 20 and surrounded by the rack portion 20. The clipping rod 22 is extended from the rack portion 20 to the clipping space 21. According to the rack portion 20 in the alternative embodiment of the present invention, the fixing member 3 can be a binding tape. The binding tape can be put around the opening end 23, and can bind the clipping rod 22, thereby achieving the object of the fixing member 3. Furthermore, in order to constrain the binding tape, the rack portion 20 is provided with a snapping block 202. The binding tape is put around the opening end 23 and constrained by the snapping block 202, whereby the binding tape is firmly positioned and is not easily fallen off.

Referring to FIG. 4, it depicts an exploded perspective schematic view of a rack portion 20 of a long-shaped bath brush according to another embodiment of the present invention. One end of the rack portion 20 located at the opening end 23′ has crotches which are not connected, i.e. the one end of the rack portion 20 located at the opening end 23′ is open, whereby the elastic mesh tube 2 can be easily assembled. According to this embodiment, the fixing member 3′ can be a cover, which is put around the opening end 23′ and not only used for fixing the clipping rod 22 but also encloses the clipping space 21, whereby the elastic mesh tube 2 can be firmly assembled in the clipping space 21 to avoid escaping from the clipping space 21 (particularly, the fixing member can be a binding tape or a cover, which is enforceable to different types of the opening end 23).

The present invention is characterized in that: The elastic mesh tube 2 is assembled through the opening end 23 into the clipping space 21 by using the design of the clipping rod 22 and the opening end 23, and the rack portion 20 and the clipping rod 22 clip and fix the elastic mesh tube 2. Then, the fixing member 3 constrains and fixes the clipping rod 22. Compared with the prior art, the present invention does not utilize complex winding processes of cord material or snapping processes of the snapping element and the snapping to fix the elastic mesh tube 2, whereby the present invention solves the problem of complex fixing processes and further has novelty and inventive steps.

Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is not used to restrain the invention. It is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made by those skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.

Claims

1. A long-shaped bath brush comprising:

an elongated body having a grip portion and a rack portion which is provided with a clipping space, a clipping rod extended from said rack portion to said clipping space, and a separate opening end formed between one end of said clipping rod and said rack portion, wherein the one end of said clipping rod is not connected to said rack portion;
an elastic mesh tube disposed in said clipping space, and clipped and fixed by said clipping rod and said rack portion; and a fixing member disposed at said opening end, whereby said elastic mesh tube is not escaped from said clipping space.

2. The long-shaped bath brush according to claim 1, wherein said clipping rod and said rack portion are respectively provided protrusions disposed in said clipping space.

3. The long-shaped bath brush according to claim 1, wherein said fixing member is a binding tape.

4. The long-shaped bath brush according to claim 3, wherein said rack portion is provided with a snapping block for constraining said fixing member.

5. The long-shaped bath brush according to claim 1, wherein said fixing member is a cover.

6. The long-shaped bath brush according to claim 5, wherein said rack portion is provided with a snapping block for constraining said fixing member 3.

7. The long-shaped bath brush according to claim 1, wherein one end of said rack portion located at said opening end is integral and is not crotched.

8. The long-shaped bath brush according to claim 1, wherein one end of said rack portion located at said opening end is open and has crotches which are not connected.
