A bathroom ventilating device includes one or more air inlet openings formed in a ceiling of a bathroom for introducing an air into the bathroom, and an air evacuating device disposed on a floor of the bathroom for evacuating odour and moisture from the bathroom. An air drawing device is attached to the ceiling of the bathroom and includes a fan aligned with the air inlet opening of the ceiling for drawing the air into the bathroom for effectively circulating and drawing the air out of the bathroom and for effectively circulating and introducing the fresh air into the bathroom and for effectively removing the odour and the moisture from the bathroom.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a bathroom ventilating device, and more particularly to a bathroom ventilating device including an improved air circulating effect for effectively circulating and drawing the air out of the bathroom and for effectively circulating and introducing or providing the fresh air into the bathroom and for effectively removing odour and moisture.

2. Description of the Prior Art

Typically, in a bathroom, a great humidity or moisture may generally be generated, and a bad odour may thus be generated. For removing the odour and the moisture, various kinds of air ventilating devices have been developed and attached to or disposed in a bathroom for filtering the air in the bathroom and for decreasing the odour and the moisture.

For example, U.S. Pat. No. 5,727,262 to Littlejohn discloses one of the typical bathroom ventilators for disposing on top of a conventional toilet tank or for mounting onto the wall, and comprising a fan or blower for drawing the air in the bathroom through an absorbent material and a number of removable fumigating filters.

However, the fan or blower may only be used to draw and to circulate the air in the bathroom only, but may not be used to draw the fresh air into the bathroom and also may not be used to draw the odour and the moisture out of the bathroom, such that the air may not be suitably or effectively circulated within the bathroom, and such that the odour and the humidity or the moisture may not be quickly removed.

U.S. Pat. No. 5,862,981 to Weng discloses another typical bathroom ventilation control device for disposing in a bathroom and comprising a controller connected to a fan motor in order to change the rotational speed of the fan motor.

However, similarly, the fan or blower may only be used to draw and to circulate the air in the bathroom only, but may not be used to draw the fresh air into the bathroom and also may not be used to draw the odour and the moisture out of the bathroom, such that the odour and the moisture may not be quickly removed. In addition, the fan or blower is disposed on top of a ceiling, but the humidity or moisture is normally found in the lower portion of the bathroom mostly such that the humidity and the moisture may not be effectively removed by the typical bathroom ventilation control device.

U.S. Pat. No. 6,177,575 to Smith discloses a further typical bathroom ventilator inlet having an air evacuation opening to remove air from a bathroom, and having a central vacuum system for acting as a suction source. The typical bathroom ventilator inlet should be disposed above or close to the seat cover or the toilet for allowing the user to easily fetch the toilet paper.

However, similarly, the humidity or moisture is normally found mostly in the lower portion of the bathroom such that the humidity and the moisture may not be effectively removed by the typical bathroom ventilator inlet. In addition, the fresh air may not be drawn or introduced into the bathroom to quickly dissipate the odour and the moisture.

The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages of the conventional bathroom ventilating devices.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a bathroom ventilating device including an improved air circulating effect for effectively circulating and drawing the air out of the bathroom and for effectively circulating and introducing or providing the fresh air into the bathroom and for effectively removing odour and moisture.

In accordance with one aspect of the invention, there is provided a bathroom ventilating device comprising at least one air inlet opening formed in a ceiling of a bathroom for introducing an air into the bathroom, and an air evacuating device disposed on a floor of the bathroom for evacuating odour and moisture from the bathroom.

The air evacuating device includes an air duct disposed on the floor of the bathroom, and a blower disposed on the air duct. The air duct includes a manifold extended out of the bathroom.

The air duct includes a check valve disposed in the manifold. The manifold is engaged into a conduit of the bathroom.

The air evacuating device includes a casing disposed on the air duct, and the blower is received in the casing. The casing includes a filter device disposed in front of the blower.

The blower is disposed and located opposite to an air entrance of a door of the bathroom. The blower is disposed and located lower than a mouth of a user.

An air drawing device is further provided and attached to the ceiling of the bathroom and disposed below and aligned with the air inlet opening of the ceiling, and includes a fan aligned with the air inlet opening of the ceiling for drawing air into the bathroom.

The air drawing device includes a housing attached to the ceiling of the bathroom and disposed below the air inlet opening of the ceiling, and the fan is disposed in the housing.

The air drawing device includes a filter device disposed in the housing and disposed below the fan for filtering the air before flowing into the bathroom.

The air drawing device includes a heater disposed in the housing and disposed beside the fan heating the air before flowing into the bathroom.

The air drawing device includes a hose connected to the air inlet opening of the ceiling and directed out of the bathroom.

Further objectives and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from a careful reading of the detailed description provided hereinbelow, with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a bathroom ventilating device in accordance with the present invention, illustrating the operation of the bathroom ventilating device.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Referring to the drawing FIG. 1, a bathroom ventilating device in accordance with the present invention is provided for being attached to or disposed in a bathroom 10 and for filtering the air in the bathroom 10 and for removing the odour and the moisture from the bathroom 10. Normally, the bathroom 10 comprises a ceiling 11, a side or rear wall 12, a floor 13 having a toilet 14 disposed thereon and located close to the side or rear wall 12, and one or more side walls 15 having a conduit 16 formed therein for installing or disposing various cables or tubes or pipes (not shown) therein. The toilet 14 may include one or more toilet covers 17 disposed thereon.

The bathroom 10 may further include one or more air inlet openings 18 formed in the upper portion or the ceiling 11 thereof for circulating and introducing or providing the fresh air into the bathroom 10. For example, a hose 19 is connected to the air inlet opening 18 of the ceiling 11 or the upper portion of the bathroom 10, and directed to the other rooms or housings, such as kitchen, living room, etc., or to the outer environment or to the air conditioning system for allowing the fresh air to be circulated and introduced into the bathroom 10. The bathroom 10 may include a door 20 for opening or closing the bathroom 10, and the door 20 may include an air entrance 21 formed in the lower portion thereof.

The bathroom ventilating device in accordance with the present invention includes an air drawing device 30 having a housing 31 attached to the upper portion or the ceiling 11 of the bathroom 10, and disposed below and aligned with the air inlet opening 18 of the ceiling 11, and having a fan or blower 32 disposed in the housing 31 and aligned with the air inlet opening 18 of the ceiling 11 for drawing the air or fresh air through the hose 19 and into the bathroom 10. It is preferable that an absorbent material and/or an aromatic material or filter device 33 disposed in the housing 31 and may be disposed beside or below or around the fan or blower 32 for filtering the fresh air before the fresh air flows into the bathroom 10. A heater 34 may also be disposed in the housing 31 and disposed beside or below or around the fan or blower 32 for providing or supplying the heated air into the bathroom 10.

The bathroom ventilating device in accordance with the present invention further includes an air evacuating device 40 for evacuating the air and the odour and the moisture in the bathroom and thus for decreasing or removing the odour and the moisture. from the bathroom 10. The air evacuating device 40 includes an air channel or duct 41 disposed on the floor 13 and a manifold 42 coupled to the duct 41 and engaged into the conduit 16 of the bathroom 10 or extended out of the bathroom 10 or into the environment, and includes a check valve 43 disposed or engaged in the manifold 42 or the duct 41 for allowing the air and the odour and the moisture in the bathroom to flow out of the bathroom 10, and for preventing the outer air from flowing into the lower portion of the bathroom 10.

The air evacuating device 40 further includes a casing 44 disposed on the duct 41, and a fan or blower 45 disposed or received in the casing 44 for drawing or sucking the air and the odour and the moisture in the lower portion of the bathroom 10 to flow out through the duct 41 and the manifold 42 and the conduit 16 of the bathroom 10. It is preferable, but not necessarily that another absorbent material and/or another filter device 46 may be disposed before or in front of the fan or blower 45 for filtering the air or the odour or the moisture before flowing out of the bathroom 10. It is further preferable, but not necessarily that the casing 44 is not spaced from the floor 13 for more than eighty (80) centimeters, or the height of the duct 41 is not more than eighty (80) centimeters, and the casing 44 is disposed or located opposite to the air entrance 21 of the door 20.

In operation, the fan or blower 45 which is disposed or located close to the floor 13 or which is disposed or located lower than the mouths and the noses of the users may draw the air and the odour and the moisture in the lower portion of the bathroom 10 to flow out through the duct 41 and the manifold 42 and the conduit 16 of the bathroom 10, and the air or fresh air may be drawn into the bathroom 10 through the air inlet opening 18 of the ceiling 11 and the hose 19 that are disposed or located in or close to the ceiling 11 and that are disposed or located higher than or above the users for allowing the air to be effectively circulated in the bathroom 10. The air or fresh air may also be drawn into the bathroom 10 through the air entrance 21 of the door 20 that is disposed or located opposite to the fan or blower 45 of the air evacuating device 40 such that the air may further be effectively circulated in the bathroom 10.

The aromatic material or filter device 33 may supply the aromatic air or fresh air into the bathroom 10 when required, and the heater 34 may provide or supply the heated air into the bathroom 10 when required. For example, the heated air may be provided or supplied into the bathroom 10 during the cold day or winter season for preheating the bathroom 10 or for suitably increasing the temperature of the bathroom 10 before bathing, and for preventing the users from getting cold. It is preferable that the fan or blower 45 of the air evacuating device 40 is stronger or more powerful than the fan or blower 32 of the air drawing device 30.for effectively circulating or drawing or evacuating the air and the odour and the moisture in the lower portion of the bathroom 10 to flow out of the bathroom 10.

Accordingly, the bathroom ventilating device in accordance with the present invention includes an improved air circulating effect for effectively circulating and drawing the air out of the bathroom and for effectively circulating and introducing or providing the fresh air into the bathroom and for effectively removing odour and moisture.

Although this invention has been described with a certain degree of particularity, it is to be understood that the present disclosure has been made by way of example only and that numerous changes in the detailed construction and the combination and arrangement of parts may be resorted to without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.

Claims

1. A bathroom ventilating device comprising:

at least one air inlet opening formed in a ceiling of a bathroom for introducing an air into the bathroom, and
an air evacuating device disposed on a floor of the bathroom for evacuating odour and moisture from the bathroom.

2. The bathroom ventilating device as claimed in claim 1, wherein said air evacuating device includes an air duct disposed on the floor of the bathroom, and a blower disposed on said air duct.

3. The bathroom ventilating device as claimed in claim 2, wherein said air duct includes a manifold extended out of the bathroom.

4. The bathroom ventilating device as claimed in claim 3, wherein said air duct includes a check valve disposed in said manifold.

5. The bathroom ventilating device as claimed in claim 3, wherein said manifold is engaged into a conduit 16 of the bathroom.

6. The bathroom ventilating device as claimed in claim 2, wherein said air evacuating device includes a casing disposed on said air duct, and said blower is received in said casing.

7. The bathroom ventilating device as claimed in claim 6, wherein said casing includes a filter device disposed in front of said blower.

8. The bathroom ventilating device as claimed in claim 2, wherein said blower is disposed and located opposite to an air entrance of a door of the bathroom.

9. The bathroom ventilating device as claimed in claim 2, wherein said blower is disposed and located lower than a mouth of a user.

10. The bathroom ventilating device as claimed in claim 1, wherein an air drawing device is attached to the ceiling of the bathroom and disposed below and aligned with said air inlet opening of the ceiling, and includes a fan aligned with said air inlet opening of the ceiling for drawing air into the bathroom.

11. The bathroom ventilating device as claimed in claim 10, wherein said air drawing device includes a housing attached to the ceiling of the bathroom and disposed below said air inlet opening of the ceiling, and said fan is disposed in said housing.

12. The bathroom ventilating device as claimed in claim 11, wherein said air drawing device includes a filter device disposed in said housing and disposed below said fan for filtering the air before flowing into the bathroom.

13. The bathroom ventilating device as claimed in claim 11, wherein said air drawing device includes a heater disposed in said housing and disposed beside said fan heating the air before flowing into the bathroom.

14. The bathroom ventilating device as claimed in claim 10, wherein said air drawing device includes a hose connected to said air inlet opening of the ceiling and directed out of the bathroom.
