Description
BACKGROUND OF THE T-FLEX

The T-Flex machine is a revolutionary tool for the wellness of the human body.

It will help people stretch their legs and simultaneously stretch the torso and eventually burn body fat.

It is especially built for better health, physical ability and durability.

What is Stretching? Wikipedia, the Free Encydopedia Stretching

Is the activity of a gradually applying tensile force to lengthen, strengthen, and lubricate muscles, often performed in anticipation of physical exertion and to increase the range of motion within a joint.

Why is Stretching Important?

It is an important accompaniment to activities that emphasize controlled muscular strength and flexibility, such as ballet, acrobatics, martial arts, or simply everyday life.

Stretching is also a prevention tool!

Stretching is believed to prevent injury to tendons, ligaments and muscles by improving muscular elasticity and reducing the stretch reflex in greater ranges of motion that might cause injury to tissue.

Current research suggests that stretching can “decrease” or “reduce” pain soreness after any type of physical activity.

The Biology of Stretching!

Stretching facilitates:

The removal local concentration of excessive lactic acids, that are the bi-product of aerobic action from the muscle tissue, thus preventing post-stress soreness which are a result of tissue damage from the acid build up.

Alleviating future “cramps” by increasing the local inflow of needed nutrients to the muscle (oxygen and saline) by means of mechanical stretching of the tissue.

Chiropractors Point of View

Most Chiropractors and Massage Therapists have determined that the nerve structure within the human body has the tendency to dislocate due to strenuous physical activity such as:

    • physical labor

light duty labor

    • clerical work

unpleasant rest

    • accidents

consistent movement

FACT: Many industries have their employees STRETCH before beginning their work day. DRAWING #1

In drawing #1 we see 3 dimensions (3D) and its components which are as follows:

    • 1. Base frame made of 1 inch square tubing 14 ga. With an outside dimension of 19½×26½ with three cross bars of 1″ inch sq. tubing with dimensions at inside of 24½
    • 2. This frame is a hexagon made of 1″ inch sq. tubing with outside dimensions of 24¼ inch. And this frame is attached to frame #1 with 2 hinges (#11)
    • 3. This is a round wheel made of ¾ hardwood and 24″ inch round and on top of the is a liner attached to the hardwood for steps, and on the bottom is a ⅛×24″ inch aluminum. Attached to the hardwood this components is attach to frame #2 with a shoulder bolt (see picture #5 item 27)
    • 4. This is an upper frame made of 1″ inch square tubing with outside dimensions of 26½″ inches and is attached to frame #1 and at the same time is a attached to the column (#5)
    • 5. This is a column made of 1½″ inch square tubing, dimensions are 48″ inch high and is attached to frame (#1) and frame (#4) and is holding the 1-¼″ square tubing (#6)
    • 6. This is a two square tubing's 1¼″×11″ long that is attached to column #5 one on each side and is holding 1″ inch square tubing on each end with two 5/16×1¼″ quick release pins on 5/16 hole 1″ inch apart. (#7)
    • 7. This is two square tubing of 1″×8″ long and is attached to the 1¼ square tubing on each side (#6) with two 5/16×1¼ long quick release pins, in the end is holding the ⅞×18″ round tubing (#8)
    • 8. This is two ⅞ round tubing 14 ga. That is attached to the 1″ square tubing on each end with a curve of 10″ Radius. At the end is holding a rubber hand grip on each. (#9)
    • 9. This is a rubber grip handle that is attached to the ⅞ round tubing (#8) and its dimensions are ⅞ inside diameter 1″ outside diameter and 6″ long
    • 10. This is two 5/16 quick release pins that between 1-¼″ square tubing and 1″ square tubing. This will facilitate to fold down the handles for storage or moving the unit and at the same time to open handles from 44″ to 55″ wide this is in consideration of different heights of persons and size of arms.
    • 11. This is two hinges that is holding frame #2 with frame #1 in order to fold up the wheel #3 with frame #2 that is attached together, this is for storage or moving the unit.
    • 12. This is two 5/16×1¼″ long quick release pins one on each side and is holding frame #2 with wheel #3 when is on motion or in use and when this two units will be fold up the quick release pins has to be pull out.
    • 13. This is a ½″ sq. inner plastic cap to cover the open hole of the 1½″ square tubing column.
