  • Patent number: 9943725
Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to a balance exercise training equipment having a planar platform with a ballast assembly that lowers its center of mass below a ball-and-socket joint. In an illustrative example, the planar platform may couple to a support assembly through the ball and socket joint to pivot and rotate relative to the support assembly. The ballast assembly may include laterally extending members to releasably receive and retain ballast plates. In response to the laterally extending members receiving and retaining ballast plates, the center of mass may descend below a pivot point of the ball-and-socket joint. In a mount or dismount mode, a locking mechanism may lock the planar platform in a predetermined position to facilitate mounting and dismounting onto the planar platform. Advantageously, a user may adjust the center of mass in accordance with a user's skill level or exercise preference.

  • Patent number: 9931540
Abstract: A balancing exercise device has a central balancing member having a center of balance. A first foot pad is coupled to the central balancing member on a first side of the center of balance. The first foot pad is pivotable with respect to the central balancing member. A second foot pad is coupled to the central balancing member on an opposite, second side of the center of balance. The second foot pad is pivotable with respect to the central balancing member. An application of equal forces on the first and second foot pads balances the central balancing member with respect to the center of balance. An application of unequal forces on the first and second foot pads causes the central balancing member to pivot about the center of balance until one of the first and second foot pads engages with a support surface on which the central balancing member is supported.

  • Patent number: 9788659
Abstract: A seat for hip shaking is set on a surface of a chair while in use. The seat for hip shaking includes a seat member and a base member arranged under the seat member. A top surface of the seat member is disposed with a saddle-shaped seat surface for users to sit thereon while a spherical surface is projecting downward from a bottom surface of the seat member. The base member has at least one support part on a top surface thereof. The spherical surface of the seat member is moveably supported by the support part of the base member and is rotated at an arbitrary angle. When a user sits on the saddle-shaped seat surface, he/she shakes the hip or maintains the balance to get the benefits of exercise like horse riding.

Abstract: An exercise machine with a two directional pivoting user support assembly has a user support or platform which supports the user and pivots about a first pivot axis during an exercise movement, and is also pivotable about at least one second pivot axis to involve the user's core muscles in balancing and maintaining the user support in a stable position. A manually operable locking device with a simple flip switch lever is provided for selectively locking the user support against rotation about the second pivot axis, so that the user can easily chose whether to perform the exercise with a stable support or to add a level of difficulty by using the unstable seat mode and exercising core muscles during the exercise.
