Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a golf club, and more particularly to a handle construction of golf club.

2. Description of Prior Art

In accordance with the conventional handles of golf clubs, the decorative patterns and trademarks of them are molded on the surface of the club handle directly in manufacturing with the die preformed with the figures and trademarks, by molding process the decorative patterns and trademarks are printed on the surface of the club handle. The formed figures and trademarks are just only hazy embossed patterns, the main function of the figure patterns is to increase the friction of club handle preventing the golf club from sliding off as striking, so the decorative function is ignored, and the trademark is shown unclearly and non-glaringly, even if to paint color paints on the figures and trademarks is used for improving high-lighting, but the color paints are easy to be wore out in use, therefore the conventional club handle structure is really needed to be innovated.

OBJECTS AND SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

It is therefore a main object of the present invention to provide a handle of golf club with more decorative function. For achieving this object, a handle of golf club provided by the present invention is typically comprised of a main body, decorative pattern and transparent layer, wherein a calking groove is formed on said main body for laying said decorative pattern in and covering said transparent layer above.

Said calking groove is formed on stem of the club handle to construct a flat reducing portion used for laying said decorative patterns in and covering said transparent layer above.

Said transparent layer is laid in the calking groove of the main body of the club handle in cash joint.

Said calking groove is formed on the thick segment of the main body, and said reducing portion approaches to the thick end.

Due to adapting above-mentioned construction of club handle, by means of die set, the calking groove is pre-molded on the main body, the patterns is laid in the calking groove, then said transparent layer is covered over the calking groove above the laid patterns in flush mounting, therefore, the decorative patterns can be designed into colored glaring figures directly or used with human picture or trademark figures and so on, said decorative patterns can be made of via printing and so on, comparing with the prior art such like hazy embossed patterns, the decorating function is greatly improved, the trademark is clearer and more glaring, by means of the protection of the transparent layer, the decorative patterns are never wore out for guaranteeing to the decorating function.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Referring to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, the handle of golf club in the first embodiment provided by the present invention is typically comprised of a main body 1, decorative patterns 2 and transparent layer 3. In the first embodiment, a calking groove 11 is formed on said main body 1, and is a flat-bottomed reducing portion approaching to the thick end of the main body 1, said decorative patterns 2 are placed into the inside of the calking groove 11, said transparent layer 3 is in fistular, and embedded into the opening of the calking groove 11 covering above the decorative patterns 2 in flush mounting with the main body 1 of the club handle.

Referring to FIG. 3, as manufacturing the first embodiment, the main body 1 is divided into a terminal end and two symmetry half-sleeves, such as three rubber pieces shaped in sulphurating treatment by means of molding die set 4, on the inside of the molding die set 4 a projected endless portion 41 is used to form said calking groove 11. In this way, said terminal end and the combined sleeve can be made in same color, such as in this embodiment; of course, the terminal end and the combined sleeve also can be made into two different colors.

Referring to FIG. 4 and FIG. 5, the second embodiment is also typically comprised of a main body 1, decorative patterns 2 and transparent layer 3. wherein, said main body 1 of the club handle has a calking groove 11 with a slop bottom in the reducing portion approaching the thick end, said decorative patterns 2 are placed into the inside of the calking groove 11, said transparent layer 3 is in fistular, and embedded into the opening of the calking groove 11 covering above the decorative patterns 2 in flush mounting with the main body 1 of the club handle. The difference of the second embodiment with the first embodiment is that the slop-bottomed calking groove 11 (as shown in FIG. 7 and FIG. 8) instead of the flat-bottomed calking groove 11 (as shown in FIG. 2) in the first embodiment.

Cooperating to referring to FIG. 6, in manufacturing, as same as in the first embodiment, just to refer an oblique top of the projected endless portion 41 of the molding die set 4 is to form a slop-bottomed calking groove 11 on the rubber sleeve instead of the flat-bottomed one in the first embodiment.

In one word, referring to FIG. 1 and FIG. 4, a handle of golf club discovered by the present invention takes the advantages of the calking groove 11 formed on the main body 1, said decorative patterns 2 are placed into the inside of the calking groove 11, said transparent layer 3 is embedded into the opening of the calking groove 11 covering above the decorative patterns 2 in flush mounting with the main body 1 of the club handle. In this way, the decorative patterns 2 can be designed into colored glaring figures directly or used with human picture or trademark figures and so on, said decorative patterns can be made of via printing and so on, comparing with the prior art such like hazy embossed patterns, the decorating function is greatly improved, the trademark is clearer and more glaring, by means of the protection of the transparent layer, the decorative patterns 2 are never wore out for guaranteeing to the decorating function.

As to how to handle the color of the main body 1, such as in one, or two or three colors, and the figures, such as diagonal or straight, and mixing cotton yarn into rubber material, and manufacturing in which way, and the positions of the calking groove 11, and the design of the decorative patterns 2, and the transparent materials for manufacturing the transparent layer 3, and locating on the main body 1 in which way, and so on, will not affect the protection range of the present invention.
