DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Referring to FIGS. 1 to 4, the first to third embodiment of a projection board according to the present invention are illustrated. The projection boards 10, 20, 30 are provided to allow a projector (not shown) performing projections. That is, images can be projected to the projection boards 10, 20, 30 clearly and brightly with beautiful colors by the projector even if the indoor lighting is not turned off.

The respective projection board 10, 20, 30 basically provides a flat plate shaped transparent base material 11, which is made of such as glass, plastics, film or acrylic. To intensify visual effect of the projection board is the purpose of using the transparent base material 11 such that the projection board looks like crystal once the projector is in operation.

It can be seen in FIGS. 1 to 4, the transparent base material 11 is flat plate shape with a first facial side 111 and a second facial side 112 opposite to each other. The first facial side 111 is uniformly adhered with a metal grain layer 12, in which the metal grains are prepared in a form of such as silver powder or aluminum powder (not shown in FIG. 4). It is preferable that the metal grain layer 12 is arranged with 100% light shielding rate to reflect the image projected by the projector such that the projection board 10, 20, 30 is capable of showing the image clearly and brightly.

The method for the metal grain layer 12 being adhered to the base material 11 shown in FIG. 2 is to mix the metal grains such as silver powder or aluminum powder with adhesive such as resin first and then the adhesive mixture is sprayed or printed over the transparent material 11 directly or over the plastic film before transferring to the transparent base material 11. As for the method for the metal grain layer 12 being adhered to the base material 11 shown in FIG. 3 is to spray or print the adhesive mixture onto a plastic film 13 made of such as polycarbonate, PVC or PET and then adhere the plastic membrane 13 onto the transparent base material 11 directly or with back glue.

In order to enhance durability of the projection board 10, 20, 30, anti-friction powder can be added in the mixture of the adhesive and the metal grains to increase hardness of the metal grain layer 12 over 1 H so as to provide a property of being anti-scratch and wearable.

The second flat facial side 112 of the transparent base material 11 shown in FIG. 4 is uniformly adhered a frosted layer 31 in addition to the metal grain layer 12 at the first flat facial side 111, which is the same as the metal grain layer 12 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2. The frosted layer 31 is a thin layer of glass powder, mica powder, quartz powder or wax glued to the second flat facial side 112 directly or a plastic membrane with the frosted layer glued to the second flat facial side 112. The frosted layer 31 has a light penetration rate between 40 to 95% and has a thickness between 1 to 4 micrometers. It is preferable that the thickness of frosted layer is 2 micrometer.

Hence, the image can be projected to the second flat facial side 112 of the transparent material 11 of the projection board 30 shown in FIG. 4 in addition to being projected to the first flat facial side 111. The frosted layer 31 on the second flat facial side is capable of scattering the strong concentrative light from the projector to avoid the projected image hurting the eyes. It has been performed a test and the test shows that the image projected onto the second flat facial side 112 provides much better effect of image quality than that projected onto the first flat facial side 111.

Referring to FIG. 5, the fourth embodiment of the projection board according to the present invention is illustrated. Similarly, a plastic film 53 made of such as polycarbonate, PVC or PET is arranged as the base material with one of the facial sides thereof adhered with a metal grain layer 54 and the other facial side thereof adhered with a frosted layer 52. Further, a yarn net made of nylon or polyester is adhered onto the frosted layer 52 to enhance projecting effect of the projection board 50 and reinforce strength of the projection board 50.

Referring to FIG. 6, the fifth embodiment of the projection board according to the present invention is illustrated. Similarly, a plastic film 62 made of such as polycarbonate, PVC or PET is arranged as the base material with one of the facial sides thereof adhered with a metal grain layer 63 and the other facial side thereof adhered with a frosted layer 61. Further, a yarn net 64 made of nylon or polyester is adhered onto the metal grain layer 63 and another plastic film 65 made of polycarbonate, PVC or PET is adhered onto the yarn net 64 to reinforce strength of the projection board 60.

Referring to FIG. 7, the sixth embodiment of the projection board according to the present invention is illustrated. Similarly, a plastic film 72 made of such as polycarbonate, PVC or PET is arranged as the base material with one of the facial sides thereof adhered with a metal grain layer 73 and the other facial side thereof adhered with a frosted layer 71. Further, another plastic film 74 made of polycarbonate, PVC or PET is adhered onto the metal grain layer 73 and a yarn net 75 made of nylon or polyester is adhered onto the second plastic film 74 to reinforce strength of the projection board 70.

While the invention has been described with referencing to preferred embodiments thereof, it is to be understood that modifications or variations may be easily made without departing from the spirit of this invention, which is defined by the appended claims.
