Water spouting device

A water spouting device includes a water spouting pipe and a pipe nut. This water spouting pipe includes a first passage, a second passage and a skirt line. A third opening of the second passage extends below the skirt line and sealed by a blocking plug. This pipe nut includes a threaded portion, a wall portion and a third passage. The wall portion of the pipe nut can surround the blocking plug. The entire water spouting device has only one beautiful color. In addition, it can reduce the total cost.

Description
BACKGROUND OF INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a water spouting device for faucet or the like. The wall portion of the pipe nut can surround the blocking plug. The entire water spouting device has a beautiful appearance of the same color. It can reduce the total cost.

2. Description of the Prior Art

Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, the conventional water spouting assembly comprises a hollow spout body 70, a securing nut 80 and an outer cover 90.

About the hollow spout body 70, it includes a first channel 71, a second channel 72 and a skirt line X. The first channel 71 has a first opening 711 and a second opening 712. The second channel 72 includes a third opening 721, a fourth opening 722 and a fifth opening 723. The first opening 711, second opening 712, third opening 721, the fourth opening 722 and the fifth opening 723 are connected together. The third opening 721 is disposed above the skirt line X, but it does not reach with this skirt line X, Furthermore, there is a sealing plug 73 (it is required for sealing a drilling hole during manufacturing) disposed in the third opening 721.

With regard to the securing nut 80, it includes a threaded portion 81 and a third channel 82 that is connecting to the threaded portion 21 with the first channel 711. The securing nut 80 connects with the skirt line X of the hollow spout body 70.

Concerning the outer cover 90, it covers the hollow spout body 70 and the sealing plug 73 both.

However, the conventional water spout assembly still has the following disadvantages:

[1] The securing nut cannot enclose the sealing plug. Because the third opening 721 of the second channel 72 of the conventional water spout assembly is disposed above the skirt line X, the securing nut 80 is possible to reach the skirt line X, but it cannot enclose the sealing plug 73 that is protruded from the hollow spout body 70. So, the entire appearance is poor.

[2] The colors of the parts of the water spouting assembly are not the same. The protruded sealing plug 73 must be covered by the outer cover 90. In order to reduce the total cost, the manufacturer tends to use a low-priced regular nut as the securing nut 80. In this case, the color of this nut might be different to the one of the outer cover. Unless the securing nut 80 and the outer cover 90 utilizes the same electroplating process (or electrolytic deposition of chromium), their colors will be different. As a result, the assembled product has an appearance with different colors. The entire water spout assembly cannot have a shining appearance of the same color.

[3] Adding the outer cover will increase the total cost. Since there is an obvious protruded sealing plug 73, it is required to add the outer cover 90 to cover it. Hence, it needs an extra part. It also means that the total cost is increased. In addition, the total assembling process becomes more complicated. Anyway, the entire cost of the conventional spout assembly is increased.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary object of the present invention is to provide a water spouting device. In which, the wall portion of the pipe nut can surround the blocking plug.

The next object of the present invention is to provide a water spouting device. The entire water spouting device has a beautiful appearance of the same color.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a water spouting device. It can reduce the total cost.

In order to achieve above-mentioned objects, a technical solution is provided. The present invention is a water spouting device comprising:

a water spouting pipe including a first passage, a second passage and a skirt line, the first passage having a first opening and a second opening; the second passage having a third opening, a fourth opening and a fifth opening; the first opening, the second opening, the third opening, the fourth opening and the fifth opening being connected together; the third opening extending below the skirt line and sealed by a blocking plug; and

a pipe nut including a threaded portion, a wall portion and a third passage; the pipe nut contacting with the skirt line of the water spouting pipe, the blocking plug being disposed inside the wall portion, the first passage and the second passage connecting with the third passage, the threaded portion allowing the pipe nut engaging with the water spouting pipe.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the present invention is a water spouting device. It mainly comprises a water spouting pipe 10, and a pipe nut 20.

About the water spouting pipe 10, it includes a first passage 11, a second passage 12 and a skirt line 13. This first passage 11 has a first opening 111 and a second opening 112. The second passage 12 has a third opening 121, a fourth opening 122 and a fifth opening 123. The first opening 111, the second opening 112, the third opening 121, the fourth opening 122 and the fifth opening 123 are connected together. This third opening 121 extends below the skirt line X and is sealed by a blocking plug 13 (as shown in FIG. 5).

This pipe nut 20 includes a threaded portion 21, a wall portion 22 and a third passage 23 (as shown in FIG. 6). The pipe nut 20 contacts with the skirt line X of the water spouting pipe 10. The blocking plug 20 is disposed inside the wall portion 22. The first passage 11 and the second passage 12 connects with the third passage 23. The threaded portion 21 allows this pipe nut 20 to engage with the water spouting pipe 20.

Moreover, referring to FIGS. 3 and 4, a water spouting pipe 10 is formed in a mold. Because there is a turning zone (or called a corner) between the first passage 11 and the second passage 12, the fourth opening 122 of the second passage 12 connects with the second opening 112 of the first passage 11. Furthermore, the third opening 121 (connects with the fourth opening 122) of the second passage 12 extends below the skirt line X. In addition, the blocking plug 13 is used to seal the third opening 121.

Based on the above-mentioned parts, the pipe nut 20 can reach the skirt line X of the water spouting pipe 10. By doing so, the blocking plug 13 is positioned inside the wall portion 22 of the pipe nut 20. If a user looks at this assembled product, the water spouting pipe 10 and the pipe nut 20 looks like an integral structure with a smooth (or stream-lined) and aesthetic outer surface.

Besides, after the water spouting pipe 10 and the pipe nut 20 are assembled together, the blocking plug 13 is surrounded by the wall portion 22 of the pipe nut 20. So, there is no need to over another element or part. Please note that the conventional one needs an extra outer cover to cover the sealing plug. Therefore, if the water spouting pipe 10 and the pipe nut 20 utilizes the same electroplating process (or electrolytic deposition of chromium), their colors will be the same. Thus, the final product will have the same color to increase its aesthetic feeling.

The advantage and functions of the present invention can be summarized as follows:

[1] The wall portion of the pipe nut can surround the blocking plug. In the present invention, the third opening is positioned below the skirt line of the water spouting pipe. The blocking plug is disposed in this third opening. Once the pipe nut is assembled with the water spouting pipe, the pipe nut will finally reach the skirt line. Therefore, the wall portion of the pipe nut will surround the blocking plug. Thus, the outer appearance will be very beautiful.

[2] The entire water spouting device has a beautiful appearance of the same color. The blocking plug is positioned below skirt line and is surrounded by the wall portion of the pipe nut. Therefore, if the water spouting pipe and the pipe nut are treated in a same surface finishing process, they will have the same color on their outer surfaces. Once the water spouting pipe and the pipe nut are assembled together (looks like an integral structure), they have the same color. The appearance of the final product will be very beautiful and smooth.

[3] It can reduce the total cost. Because the pipe nut surrounds the blocking plug, no extra outer cover is required. When the outer cover is omitted, it no only saves the material cost but also saves the assembling time and procedure. Thus, it can reduce the total cost for manufacturing the present invention.

The above embodiments are only used to illustrate the present invention, not intended to limit the scope thereof. Many modifications of the above embodiments can be made without departing from the spirit of the present invention.

Claims

1. Water spouting device comprising:

a water spouting pipe including a first passage, a second passage and a skirt line, said first passage having a first opening and a second opening; said second passage having a third opening, a fourth opening and a fifth opening; said first opening, said second opening, said third opening, said fourth opening and said fifth opening being connected together; said third opening extending below said skirt line and sealed by a blocking plug; and
a pipe nut including a threaded portion, a wall portion and a third passage; said pipe nut contacting with said skirt line of said water spouting pipe, said blocking plug being disposed inside said wall portion, said first passage and said second passage connecting with said third passage, said threaded portion allowing said pipe nut engaging with said water spouting pipe.

2. The water spouting device as claimed in claim 1, wherein said water spouting pipe is an integral structure made by mold forming.

3. The water spouting device as claimed in claim 1, wherein said water spouting pipe and said pipe nut have a same color.

4. The water spouting device as claimed in claim 1, wherein said water spouting pipe and said pipe nut are treated to have a same color by an electroplating process.
