BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to an air-mixing nozzle for a bidet, and more particularly, to an air-mixing nozzle for a bidet capable of preventing foreign substances from being stuck to the bidet by forming a cleaning tip and a bidet tip having air-mixing means at each lower part of front ends of a bidet cylinder and a cleaning cylinder, and reducing the number of components by operating the cleaning cylinder and the bidet cylinder using a single belt driven by a gear, thereby improving productivity thereof.
2. Description of the Related Art
Generally, a bidet is a device installed at a toilet stool, and ejecting cleaning water or bidet water to clean user's genitals and rectal area after easing nature.
In this bidet, in order to give a smooth feeling to a user when water ejected from a cleaning nozzle and a bidet nozzle is in contact with a user's skin, the air is mixed with the ejected water.
A conventional bidet has employed a method of installing a separate component such as an air pump for mixing the air with the ejected water, or mixing the air using a pressure difference generated when cleaning water is ejected.
However, when the separate component such as the air pump is used, it is likely to generate abnormal noise while the cleaning water is ejected. In addition, the separate component may cause an increase in manufacturing cost and the size of the entire product.
Further, when the method of using a pressure difference during ejection of the cleaning water is used, since an air-mixing device is installed on front ends of the cleaning cylinder and the bidet cylinder, a large amount of foreign substances may be stuck to the front ends.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONIn order to solve the foregoing and/or other problems, it is an aspect of the present invention to provide an air-mixing nozzle for a bidet capable of preventing foreign substances from being stuck to the bidet by forming a cleaning tip and a bidet tip having air-mixing means at each lower part of front ends of a bidet cylinder and a cleaning cylinder, reducing the number of components by operating the cleaning cylinder and the bidet cylinder using a single belt driven by a gear, thereby improving productivity thereof.
Additional aspect and advantages of the present invention will be set forth in part in the description which follows and, in part, will be obvious from the description, or may be learned by practice of the invention.
The foregoing and/or other aspects of the present invention may be achieved by providing an air-mixing nozzle for a bidet including: a cleaning tip and a bidet tip having air-mixing means disposed at ends of a cleaning cylinder and a bidet cylinder each having a cleaning water ejection port and a bidet water ejection port to mix air using a pressure difference generated during ejection of the cleaning water; and a drive member having a belt and a gear meshed with each other to reciprocate the cleaning cylinder and the bidet cylinder.
In addition, the cleaning tip may have a cleaning water introduction port formed at a center thereof, the cleaning water introduction port being connected to an outlet of the cleaning cylinder at its one side and bent toward the cleaning water ejection port in an “L” shape at the other side; and an air introduction port formed to be in communication with one side of the cleaning water introduction port and introducing the external air using a pressure difference generated when the cleaning water ejected from the cleaning water introduction port is discharged through the cleaning water ejection port.
Further, the bidet tip may have a water introduction port connected to an outlet of the bidet cylinder; a plurality of ejection holes formed on the water introduction port; and a plurality of air introduction ports formed at one side of the ejection holes to be in communication with the ambient air such that the ambient air is introduced by a pressure difference generated when the bidet water ejected from the ejection holes is discharged through the bidet water ejection ports.
Furthermore, the drive member may be engaged with a predetermined length of belt under a nozzle cap engaged with rear ends of the cleaning cylinder and the bidet cylinder, and the belt may be meshed with the gear rotated by a motor
In addition, the gear may have a rim for preventing the belt from slipping off.
These and/or other aspects and advantages of the present invention will become apparent and more readily appreciated from the following description of the embodiments, taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings of which:
Hereinafter, exemplary embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to
Referring to
A cleaning water ejection port 2 for spraying cleaning water is formed at an upper end surface of the cleaning cylinder 1, and a plurality of bidet water ejection ports 7 for spraying bidet water are formed at an upper end surface of the bidet cylinder 6.
As shown in
As shown in
Meanwhile, as shown in
The bidet tip 8 is also inserted into the lower end of the bidet cylinder 6 to be buried therein, thereby preventing foreign substances from being stuck thereto during operation.
In addition, as shown in
The drive member 20 is engaged with a predetermined length of belt 23 under a nozzle cap 22 engaged with a rear end of the cleaning cylinder 1 and the bidet cylinder 6. The belt 23 is meshed with the gear 24 rotated by a motor 21 to be rotated forward and backward, thereby reciprocating the cleaning cylinder 1 and the bidet cylinder 6.
The gear 24 has a rim 25 for preventing the belt 23 from slipping off, thereby ensuring stable operation of the belt 23.
Hereinafter, operation and effect of the air-mixing nozzle for a bidet of the present invention will be described.
When a cleaning or bidet function is performed, the motor 21 drives the gear 24 in one direction, and the gear 24 rotates the belt forward or backward, thereby reciprocating the cleaning cylinder 1 and the bidet cylinder 6.
When cleaning water is supplied into the cleaning cylinder 1, the cleaning water is introduced through the cleaning water introduction port 4 of the cleaning tip 3 to be sprayed to a user. At this time, the external air is introduced through the air introduction port 5 by a pressure difference generated when the cleaning water is ejected through the cleaning water ejection port 2 to be mixed with the cleaning water, thereby spraying the mixed air and cleaning water to the user.
In addition, when bidet water is supplied into the bidet cylinder 6, the bidet water is introduced through the water introduction port 9 to be sprayed to the user's genitals through the ejection holes 10 and the bidet water ejection ports 7. At this time, the external air is introduced through the air introduction port 11 by a pressure difference generated when the bidet water is ejected through the bidet water ejection ports 7 to be mixed with the bidet water, thereby spraying the mixed air and bidet water to the user.
As described above, the air-mixing nozzle for a bidet in accordance with the present invention is capable of mixing the air with the cleaning water and discharging them using a pressure difference generated when the cleaning water is ejected, and burying the cleaning tip 3 and the bidet tip 8 under the cleaning cylinder 1 and the bidet cylinder 6 to prevent contamination due to foreign substances.
As can be seen from the foregoing, an air-mixing nozzle for a bidet includes a cleaning tip and a bidet tip having air-mixing means disposed at front ends of a cleaning cylinder and a bidet cylinder each having a cleaning water ejection port and a bidet water ejection port to mix air using a pressure difference generated during ejection of the cleaning water; and a drive member having a belt and a gear meshed with each other to reciprocate the cleaning cylinder and the bidet cylinder. Therefore, it is possible to prevent foreign substances from being stuck to the bidet, and reduce the number of components by operating the cleaning cylinder and the bidet cylinder using the single belt driven by the gear, thereby improving productivity thereof.
Although a few embodiments of the present invention have been shown and described, it will be appreciated by those skilled in the art that changes may be made in these embodiments without departing from the principles and spirit of the invention, the scope of which is defined in the appended claims and their equivalents.
