Coupling device of safety goggles for use in hat brim
A coupling device of a pair of safety goggles for use in a hat brim of the present invention is designed for coupling a fastening belt of the safety goggles with the hat brim of a hat body. The coupling device has a base having an outward extended arched gap, wherein the base is relatively rotatable so as to allow the hat brim of the hat body to be rotated into the gap of the base. In addition, the base is coupled with a hooking body for further coupling with the fastening belt of the safety goggles. Accordingly, the coupling device of the present invention can be assembled easily and conveniently.
The present invention relates to a coupling device of a pair of safety goggles for use in a hat brim, and more particularly to a coupling device for coupling the safety goggles with a hat body.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTIONFor the purpose of protecting the head, which is a weak and sensitive portion of human body, against the risk of being impacted or knocked by external force, the safety helmet must be worn on the head in accordance with the industrial and traffic safety codes. In addition to the safety helmet, the safety goggles must be worn to protect the eyes against dust, air blast, and chemical reagents for providing industrial safety. Accordingly, the safety helmet and the safety goggles are usually utilized together. The safety helmet described below is principally the industrial safety helmet, but not limited thereto.
The general safety helmet has a hat brim on which a U-shaped coupling device having a U-shaped frame is mounted, wherein the U-shaped frame is pierced through by a bolt for tightly coupling the coupling device with the hat brim.
In addition, a rotatable hooking body, which is upward or downward rotatable, is pivotally coupled with the outer end of the coupling device for coupling with the fastening belt of the safety goggles.
However, it can be seen that the safety helmet is coupled with the safety goggles via the U-shaped frame, resulting in the complicated assemble process. As a result, if there is a need to replace the safety goggles, the bolt must be loosened first to detach the coupling device from the hat brim.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONA major object of the present invention is to disclose a coupling device of a pair of safety goggles for use in a hat brim, wherein the coupling device is designed for coupling a fastening belt of the safety goggles with the hat brim of a hat body. The coupling device has a base having an outward extended arched gap, wherein the base is relatively rotatable so as to allow the hat brim of the hat body to be rotated into the gap of the base. In addition, the base is coupled with a hooking body for further coupling with the fastening belt of the safety goggles. Accordingly, the present invention can be assembled easily and conveniently.
Another object of the present invention is to disclose a preferred embodiment of a coupling device of a pair of safety goggles for use in a hat brim. In this preferred embodiment, the base has a vertical slot extending from the arched gap. By using the vertical slot, the base is divided into a first segment and a second segment, which are connected to each other via a bottom part. In addition, the first segment and the second segment have respective through holes that communicate with each other so as to allow a coupling bolt to pass therethrough. By tightly screwing the coupling bolt, the hat brim can be inserted into the arched gap tightly
A further object of the present invention is to disclose a preferred embodiment of a coupling device of a pair of safety goggles for use in a hat brim. In this preferred embodiment, the coupling bolt is composed of a male bolt and a female bolt, which are inwardly, detachably coupled with each other from respective outsides of the first segment and the second segment.
The description taken with the drawings make the structures, features, and embodiments of the present invention apparent to those skilled in the art how the present invention may be embodied in practice.
