GOLF-CLUB HEAD CLEANING DEVICE

A golf-club head cleaning device which includes a container body configuration with externally mounted control switch and having an interior main body including a top brush, a top cover, a power brush module mechanism, a motor, a middle housing, a blower, a bottom cover and a chargeable battery. The top brush which is a soft brush body is mounted within a bottom holding seat of a middle slot of the top cover, forming into a brushing device for the first brushing of the golf club head. The top cover is disposed within the middle housing and has a face which is positioned at the middle slot having the bottom holding seat for the mounting of the top brush; The cleaning device facilitates cleaning process of club head and provides an effective way of cleaning the grooves of the club head.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

(a) Technical Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to cleaning device, and in particular, a cleaning device for golf-club head. The cleaning device facilitates cleaning process of club head and provides an effective way of cleaning the grooves of the club head.

(b) Description of the Prior Art

Golfing is a contemporary sport for many people around the world. Golfing accessories are exploited and designated to facilitate maintenance the clubs and the like.

Generally, caddies help to clean golf clubs, golf bags, golf balls for the golfer during a game. After a game, the golf club, especially the head of the golf club tends to acquire dirt, mud, and/or grass. To clean away the dirt, mud, and/or grass on the club head, the golfer or the caddy will use a cloth to clean the clubs during play. This conventional method of cleaning of the clubs is laborious and time consuming and the cleaning effect is poor.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary purpose of the present invention is to provide a golf-club head cleaning device having a container body configuration with externally mounted control switch and having an interior main body including a top brush, a top cover, a power brush module mechanism, motor, a middle housing, a blower, a bottom cover and a chargeable batter, characterized in that the top bush which is a soft brush body is mounted within a bottom holding seat of a middle slot of the top cover, forming into a brushing device for the first brushing of the golf club head; a top cover is disposed within the middle housing and has a face which is positioned at the middle slot having the bottom holding seat for the mounting of the top brush; the power brush module mechanism including a power brush module, a main shaft, a top-middle partition plate, a main frictional wheel, a driven frictional wheel and a bottom-middle partition plate, wherein the main frictional wheel is connected to the main shaft of the motor so as to contact the frictional wheel and to drive the driven frictional wheel, the shaft of the driven frictional wheel is mounted into a shaft hole of the power brush module and is locked by a locking nut, the lower section of the main shaft is connected respectively by a mounting shaft and a bearing with the hole formed by the top and middle partition plate and the driven frictional wheel and the bottom and middle partition plate, the top and middle partition plate is locked to the bottom-middle partition plate and a plurality of locking seat lugs at the edge are used to lock to a support at the bottom section of the middle housing, the top and middle partition plate and the bottom and middle partition plate form into a cavity at the two lateral sides such that the brush off sand, mud or dust fall into this cavity for discharging; the motor is mounted between the power brush module and the bottom slot formed at the middle housing and is driven by the chargeable battery to drive the main frictional wheel; the middle housing is covered from the top portion by the top cover and the support at the bottom of the middle housing is for the mounting of the top and bottom partition plate, and the bottom section has an arch-shaped slot; the blower is mounted at the bottom section of the main shaft of the motor to generate air to the bottom cover; the bottom cover is locked to the bottom section of the middle housing and the inner edge face is provided with a plurality of discharging plates having a discharging port at the end of the plate; and the chargeable battery is enclosed by a battery shell to provide power to the motor.

Yet still another object of the present invention is to provide a golf-club head cleaning device, wherein the frictional wheel is driven by belt or the like.

A further object of the present invention is to provide a golf-club head cleaning device, wherein the power brush module is provided with a bottom brush to provide efficient cleaning.

Still yet another object of the present invention is to provide a golf-club head cleaning device, wherein the bottom cover is a receptacle for collecting of sand, mud and dust.

The foregoing object and summary provide only a brief introduction to the present invention. To fully appreciate these and other objects of the present invention as will as the invention itself, all of which will become apparent to those skilled in the art, the following detailed description of the invention and the claims should be read in conjunction with the accompanying drawings. Throughout the specification and drawings identical reference numerals refer to identical or similar parts.

Many other advantages and features of the present invention will become manifest to those versed in the art upon making reference to the detailed description and the accompanying sheets of drawings in which a preferred structural embodiment incorporating the principles of the present invention is shown by way of illustrative example.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

The following descriptions are of exemplary embodiments only, and are not intended to limit the scope, applicability or configuration of the invention in any way. Rather, the following description provides a convenient illustration for implementing exemplary embodiments of the invention. Various changes to the described embodiments may be made in the function and arrangement of the elements described without departing from the scope of the invention as set forth in the appended claims.

Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, there is shown a golf-club head cleaning device 1 having a container body configuration and is externally mounted with a control switch 10. The device 1 is activated or deactivated by pressing the control switch 10. In accordance with the present invention, the device 1 comprises a top brush 11, a top cover 12, a power brush module 13, motor 14, a middle housing 15, a blower 16, a bottom cover 17 and a chargeable battery 18.

The top cover 12 is mounted at the top portion of the middle housing 15 which facilitates the cleaning of the power brush or the replacement of the power brush 131 within the power brush module 13. The surface of the top cover 12 has a middle slot 121 as a holding seat 122 for holding, and the holding seat 122 of the sides of the bottom edges of the middle slot 121 is used for the mounting of the top brush 11, which is formed into a brush to provide the first brushing for golf-club head to clean away the bigger piece of mud and grasses thereon.

As shown in FIG. 2, the power brush module 13 includes a power brush 131, a main shaft 132, a top-middle partition plate 133, a main frictional wheel 134, a driven frictional wheel 135 and a bottom-middle partition plate 136. The main frictional wheel 134 is connected to the main shaft of the motor 14 and the chargeable battery 18 supplies power to the motor 14 such that the main frictional wheel touches and drive the driven frictional wheel 135.

The shaft of the driven frictional wheel 135 is mounted into a shaft hole 1311 of the power brush module 131 and is locked by a locking nut 1312. Thus the power brush module 131 rotates about the main shaft 132. The lower section of the main shaft 132 is mounted with a sleeve 1321 and a bearing 132 which are respectively connected to the hole positions 133-1, 136-1 and hole 1351 formed by the top and middle partition plate 133 and the driven frictional wheel 135 and the bottom and middle partition plate 136 such that the main shaft 132 and the driven frictional wheel 135 drive synchronously the power brush module 131 so that the power brush module 131 is the mechanism of the device 1 for cleaning.

Referring to FIGS. 2 and 3, the top and middle partition plate 133 and the bottom and middle partition plate 133 are correspondingly locked to each other and a plurality of locking seat lugs 133-2, 136-2 at corresponding edge are used to lock to a support 151 at the bottom section of the middle housing 151 which provides protection of the driven frictional wheel 135 and the main frictional wheel 134 and to effectively prevent mud, sand and dust to enter. At the same time, the top and middle partition plate 133 and the bottom and middle partition plate 136 form into a cavity 1330 at the two lateral sides such that the brushed off sand, mud or dust fall into this cavity 1330 via a bottom isolation slot 152. The blower 16 mounted to the main shaft of the motor generates strong wind, together with the function of a plurality of plates having a discharging port 172 at the end thereof is used to clean away the mud, sand, and dust.

As shown in FIG. 3, the lateral side of the middle housing 15 is formed integrally a battery shell 181 for the accommodation of a chargeable battery 18, which could be any batteries used in vehicles to supply power to the motor.

As shown in FIG. 4, in the power brush module mechanism 13, the main frictional wheel 134 and the driven wheel 135 are the main belted wheel 137 and the driven belted wheel 138 for driving the power brush module 131. The main shaft of the frictional wheel 137 could be mounted with a bottom brush 139 and the cleaning of the club head is further improved.

It will be understood that each of the elements described above, or two or more together may also find a useful application in other types of methods differing from the type described above.

While certain novel features of this invention have been shown and described and are pointed out in the annexed claim, it is not intended to be limited to the details above, since it will be understood that various omissions, modifications, substitutions and changes in the forms and details of the device illustrated and in its operation can be made by those skilled in the art without departing in any way from the spirit of the present invention.

Claims

1. A golf-club head cleaning device having a container body configuration with externally mounted control switch and having an interior main body including a top brush, a top cover, a power brush module mechanism, motor, a middle housing, a blower, a bottom cover and a chargeable battery, characterized in that

the top brush which is a soft brush body is mounted within a bottom holding seat of a middle slot of the top cover, forming into a brushing device for the first brushing of the golf club head;
a top cover is disposed within the middle housing and has a face which is positioned at the middle slot having the bottom holding seat for the mounting of the top brush;
the power brush module mechanism including a power brush module, a main shaft, a top-middle partition plate, a main frictional wheel, a driven frictional wheel and a bottom-middle partition plate, wherein the main frictional wheel is connected to the main shaft of the motor so as to contact the frictional wheel and to drive the driven frictional wheel, the shaft of the driven frictional wheel is mounted into a shaft hole of the power brush module and is locked by a locking nut, the lower section of the main shaft is connected respectively by a mounting shaft and a bearing with the hole formed by the top and middle partition plate and the driven frictional wheel and the bottom and middle partition plate, the top and middle partition plate is locked to the bottom-middle partition plate and a plurality of locking seat lugs at the edge are used to lock to a support at the bottom section of the middle housing, the top and middle partition plate and the bottom and middle partition plate form into a cavity at the two lateral sides such that the brush off sand, mud or dust fall into this cavity for discharging;
the motor is mounted between the power brush module and the bottom slot formed at the middle housing and is driven by the charging battery to drive the main frictional wheel;
the middle housing is covered from the top portion by the top cover and the support at the bottom of the middle housing is for the mounting of the top and bottom partition plate, and the bottom section has an arch-shaped slot;
the blower is mounted at the bottom section of the main shaft of the motor to generate air to the bottom cover;
the bottom cover is locked to the bottom section of the middle housing and the inner edge face is provided with a plurality of discharging plates having a discharging port at the end of plate; and
the chargeable battery is enclosed by a battery shell to provide power to the motor.

2. The golf-club head cleaning device of claim 1, wherein the frictional wheel is driven be belt or the like.

3. The golf-club head cleaning device of claim 1, wherein the power brush module is provided with a bottom brush to provide efficient cleaning.

4. The golf-club head cleaning device of claim 1, wherein the bottom cover is a receptacle for collecting of sand, mud and dust.
