Shot top

The Shot Top combines a shot glass with the cap of a bottle. The invention replaces the normal bottle top with a 1 oz shot top. This provides convenience as well as a very useful marketing tool. The shot top is a regular size shot glass, shaped to fit on the top of a bottle, and threaded on the inside of the glass so that it will screw on to the top of the bottle. Any type of mascot, company logo, etc can be printed on the Shot Top as a marketing tool.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The Shot Top is a shot glass and a bottle lid combination. It is generally used for convenience as well as marketing. The Shot Top offers a convenient means of consuming the liquid in the corresponding bottle.

The Shot Top is also a novelty item that can be used as a marketing device. The Shot Top could have the logo of the corresponding bottle printed on it.

DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWING

FIG. 1—This depicts the general look of the Shot Top. The top will be thread on the inside of the container. The threads will not reach the top of the glass to ensure comfort when drinking out of the Shot Top. The Shot Top will hold 1 ounce of liquid.

FIG. 2—This depicts the idea of the Shot Top attaching to the corresponding bottle. The Shot Top threads will fit to the threads on the corresponding bottle.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The Shot Top will be manufactured out of either plastic or glass.

    • The threads will be on the inside of the Shot Top. The thread size will vary depending on the corresponding bottle. The corresponding bottle will be provided by any company interested in using the Shot Top.

The Shot Top will be large enough to hold 1 ounce of liquid.

Claims

1. The Shot Top comprises a container and a lid. The container is used to consume the liquid within the corresponding bottle. The container will also be used as the lid for the corresponding bottle.

2. The Shot Top includes threads on the inside of the container. The threads will be low inside the container so that it does not cause discomfort to the user. The threads will be used to attach the Shot Top to the corresponding bottle

3. The Shot Top comprises a 1 oz container made from either plastic or glass

4. The Shot Top includes a plastic wrapping once it is manufactured. In order to comply with safety and tampering issues, the top will be sealed in plastic once it is attached to the bottle.
