  • Patent number: 11259621
Abstract: A system for the application of mascara to both eyes using the dominant hand. The system has a container and an applicator. The applicator is used to transfer mascara from the container to the eyes. The applicator has a handle, a brush head and a rod. The handle progresses along an imaginary midline and supports the brush head in line with, or parallel to, the midline. The rod has at least one offset section. The rod is long enough to enable a person to position the brush head in front of the left eye from the right side of the head, or in front of the right eye from the left side of the head. The offset section of the rod prevents the applicator from blocking the vision from a near eye when applying mascara across the face to a far eye.

  • Patent number: 10878726
Abstract: Described herein is a polymorphic display, which is a unitary apparatus constructed such that a wide variety of electro-optic functions are enabled. The polymorphic display is used in an intelligent container system for monitoring and evaluating actions taken at the container system. In this way, relationships between displayed information and actions may be determined. The polymorphic display, even when having multiple pixels, enables sharing of selected structures among the pixels. In a multi-pixel construction, there is a set of pixels in the display that exhibit one set of operable properties, such as particular stability, sequencing, and switching properties, and another set of pixels that are different from the first set. That is, they have different stability, sequencing, or switching properties. In such a way, a highly flexible polymorphic display may be construed to satisfy a wide range of display needs, including novel applications on intelligent container systems.

The plastic closure is then positioned and sealed onto the film material such that the cutting organ embedded in the spout part can become effective in the thinned, ring-shaped region upon use thereof.

Abstract: A glue bottle with flow regulation comprises a bottle body, a bottle cap, and a liquid outlet cap engaged with the bottle cap through thread. The bottle cap is partially contained in the liquid outlet cap. A cavity is formed between the inner wall of the liquid outlet cap and the outer wall of the bottle cap. and is provided with a first opening and a second opening. A seal body is arranged on the top part of the bottle cap, and is positioned inside of the cavity. The position of the seal body in the cavity is adjusted by rotating the liquid outlet cap relative to the bottle cap. The closer the seal body is to the second opening, the smaller the gap is between the liquid outlet cap and the bottle cap. The glue bottle is capable of precisely controlling the quantity of the glue flowing out.

Abstract: A tamper-evident closure includes a tamper-evident strip connected with frangible connection points to a shoulder portion of a closure body before first time opening of the closure. In the closed position of a lid, a skirt portion of the lid is located behind the tamper-evident strip. The skirt portion includes locking lugs that protrude from the outer skirt surface towards the front and in the closed position of the lid engage an underside of the tamper-evident strip, such that upon a first-time opening the lid is only movable to the open position when the tamper-evident strip is permanently removed by breaking the frangible connecting points. The tamper-evident strip has bent end portions with frangible connection points that are bent towards the skirt portion, whereby a virtual straight line through these frangible connection points, seen from the front, lies behind a virtual straight line through the other frangible connection points.

  • Patent number: 9376240
Abstract: A cap for a bottle having a safety seal over its mouth, the cap provided with one or more integral seal-cutting fins to facilitate removal of the safety seal. The cap further includes mouth alignment ribs and may include one or more depressor fins. The cap may have an inner stage and an outer stage. When inverted, the cap may be positioned on the lip of the mouth of a heat induction sealed bottle. Upon application of downward force and rotation of the cap, the seal-cutting fins score or cut the safety seal to facilitate removal of the seal. The depressor fin(s) prevents the entire circumference of the seal from being scored or cut, and therefore reduces the risk that the seal will fall into the bottle during removal of the seal.

  • Patent number: 9215954
Abstract: A twist action mixing container is capable of separately storing various substances for later mixing. The mixing container includes an upper and lower housing which respectively define an upper and lower chamber. The upper and lower chambers are separated by a valve assembly that seals off one chamber from the other until the valve assembly is opened. The valve assembly includes upper and lower valve halves, each of which includes one or more tracks along their periphery and corresponding guide members that insert into said tracks. When the upper and lower housings are twisted in opposite directions, the guide members travel along their respective tracks moving upper and lower valve openings into alignment, thus opening the valve assembly. A preventer is operably coupled to the lower valve for blocking the container opening while the valve assembly is closed.

  • Patent number: 9162804
Abstract: The present invention provides a dispensing cap for attaching to a container, which includes a dispensing chamber having an interior compartment for holding an ingredient to be dispensed into the container. The top end of the dispensing chamber has a flexible diaphragm and an actuator button and the lower end of the dispensing chamber is connected to a frangible membrane. The dispensing chamber includes a threaded bottle cap for attaching the container to the dispensing cap. A piercing shaft includes four rectangular shaped vanes which engage and pierce the center of an s-shaped frangible section of the frangible membrane at the bottom of the dispensing chamber. This causes the s-shaped frangible section of the frangible membrane to rupture and thereby form an opening in the bottom of the interior compartment of the dispensing chamber so that the ingredient housed within the compartment freely passes through the dispensing opening and into the container.
