WAIST TRAINING MACHINE

A waist training machine comprises a base; a swing seat, an upper side thereof being installed with a transfer wheel retainer, and another end thereof being installed with a crank retaining seat; a swing unit installed below the swing seat for driving the swing seat to move leftwards and rightwards; a transfer wheel set having a driving wheel and two cranks at two sides; a crank having a first linkage and a second linkage pivotally connected to the first linkage; a driving unit having at least one servo motor for driving the transfer wheel set to rotate; and a saddle combined to the first linkage of the crank. By aforementioned elements, the saddle can move forwards and forwards, upwards and backwards, and leftwards and rightwards.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

(a) Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to waist training machines, and particularly to a waist training machine which can assist the user to train the waist and buttocks.

(b) Description of the Prior Art

Currently, people sit all day long in offices and thus the waist and abdomen will accumulate harmful fat. Therefore, it is very difficult to remove the fat of waist. Thus waist training machines are designed for training the waist to move leftwards and rightwards, forwards and backwards, and upwards and downwards so that the waist can train sufficiently.

However the prior art waist training machine has a complicate structure and too many components so that the processes in manufacturing and assembly are tedious and the cost can not be reduced. Furthermore, too complicate structure will increase the factors of destroys. This will affect the necessity of users, but also the cost in maintenance is increased. Furthermore, the prior art waist training machine has no function of adjustment of amplitude. Only frequency is adjustable. As a result, after a while, the user will not like to use the machine.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Accordingly, the object of the present invention is to provide a waist training machine, the elements of which are fewer than those in the prior art and thus the cost of components and assembly is lower. In the present invention, an adjusting device 6 serves to connect the transfer wheel set and the crank so that the first linkage of the crank can adjust the eccentricity of the transfer wheel set. The swing amplitude is controllable by the user. By setting the rotational speed of the driving unit, the amplitude and frequency are also controllable.

To achieve the above object, the present invention provides a waist training machine comprising: a base; a swing seat which can swing leftwards and rightwards, an upper side thereof being installed with a transfer wheel retainer, and another end thereof being installed with a crank retaining seat; a swing unit installed below the swing seat for driving the swing seat to move leftwards and rightwards; a transfer wheel set having a driving wheel and two cranks at two sides; a rotary shaft combined to the driving wheel and the cranks; by combination of the rotary shaft and the swing seat, the waist training machine is rotatable; a crank having a first linkage and a second linkage pivotally connected to the first linkage; a free end of the first linkage being combined to an eccentric position of a crank rotary wheel of the transfer wheel set; and a free end of the second linkage being combined to the crank retaining seat; a driving unit having at least one servo motor for driving the transfer wheel set to rotate; and a saddle combined to the first linkage of the crank. By above mentioned elements, the saddle can move forwards and forwards, upwards and backwards, and leftwards and rightwards.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

In order that those skilled in the art can further understand the present invention, a description will be provided in the following in detail. However, these descriptions and the appended drawings are only used to cause those skilled in the art to understand the objects, features, and characteristics of the present invention, but not to be used to confine the scope and spirit of the present invention defined in the appended claims.

Referring to drawings, the waist training machine of the present invention includes a base 1, a swing seat 2, a swing unit 3, a transfer wheel set 4, two cranks 5, an adjusting device 6, a driving unit 7, and a saddle 8. The user can sit upon the saddle 8 for moving forwards and backwards, or leftwards and rightwards, or upwards and downwards so as to train the waist, abdomen, and the back.

Referring to FIGS. 1 to 3, the base 1 supports the swing seat 2. A front and a rear ends of the upper sides of the base 1 are installed with respective first pivotal portions 11.

With reference to FIGS. 1 to 3, the swing seat 2 is a platform. Two ends thereof are installed with respective second pivotal portions 21. An upper end thereof is formed with a penetrating slot 22. Upper ends of the two sides of the slot 22 are installed with respective retaining seats 23 for the transfer wheel set. Another end thereof is installed with at least one crank retaining seat 24. A bottom of the swing seat 2 is installed with a plurality of aligned transfer axial seats 25. Thereby the second pivotal portions 21 at two ends of the swing seat 2 are combined to the two first pivotal portions 11 so that the swing seat 2 can swing leftwards and rightwards.

A swing unit 3, as illustrated in FIGS. 3 and 4, has two limiting plates 31 which are fixed to the two upper ends of the base 1. Each limiting plate 31 has a limiting trench 311. Two rotary wheels 32 are combined to predetermined positions of the transfer axial seat 25 below the swing seat 2. Each rotary wheel 32 is at a lateral side of the limiting plate 31. At an eccentric position on a lateral surface of each rotary wheel 32 is a pin 33. The pin 33 passes through the limiting trench 311. A bearing 34 is installed to the pin 33 so that a periphery of the bearing 34 is matched to the limiting trench 311. Thereby when the rotary wheel 32 is driven by a power source, the swing seat 2 swings leftwards and rightwards (referring to FIGS. 7 and 8). The power source may be an independent servo motor or the driving unit 7 described below, which is used to drive the transfer wheel set 4.

Referring to FIGS. 2 and 3, a transfer wheel set 4 includes a driving wheel 41 and two crank wheels 42 at two sides. A rotary shaft 43 is connected to a center of the driving wheel 41 and the two crank wheels 42. The rotary shaft 43 is combined to the transfer wheel retaining seat 23 of the swing seat 2 and thus the transfer wheel set 4 is rotatable on the swing seat 2.

Referring to FIGS. 2 and 3, the crank 5 is formed by a first linkage 51 and a second linkage 52 pivotally connected to the first linkage 51. At predetermined positions of the first linkage 51 are a plurality of saddle retainers 53, for example threaded holes. A free end of the first linkage 51 is rotatably combined to the adjusting device 6 described below. The adjusting device 6 can be indirectly combined to an eccentric position at an outer side of the crank wheel 42. A free end of the second linkage 52 extends to connect with the crank retaining seat 24 at another end of the swing seat 2. Thus, when the transfer wheel set 4 rotates, the first linkage 51 moves forwards and backwards and upwards and downwards (referring to FIG. 9).

An adjusting device 6, referring to FIG. 5, serves to adjust the eccentricity of the free end of the first linkage 51 with respect to the crank wheel 42 so that the swing amplitude of the crank 5 is adjustable. The adjusting device 6 is formed by a servo motor 61 and a guide rod 62. The guide rod 62 is screwed with a sliding block 63 so that the servo motor 61 is combined to an outer middle portion of the crank wheel 42 and the guide rod 62 is at a radial extension position of the crank wheel 42. The sliding block 63 is embedded to a radial track 44. If the free end of the first linkage 51 is rotatably combined to the sliding block 63. The servo motor 61 will be used to drive the guide rod 62 so that the sliding block 63 and the second linkage 52 can be used to adjust the eccentricity. Thus the swing amplitude is adjustable.

A Referring to FIGS. 3 and 4, the driving unit 7 is the main power source of the waist training machine of the present invention. The driving unit 7 has a servo motor 71 which is combined to a predetermined position at a lower side of the swing seat 2. A power output shaft of the driving unit 7 is combined with a first driving wheel 72. The first driving wheel 72 and a belt 73 passing through the slot 22 will drive the driving wheel 41 of the transfer wheel set 4. Besides, a transfer shaft 74 passes through the transfer axial seat 25 so that the two ends of the transfer shaft 74 extend to the rotary wheels 32 of the swing unit 3. The second driving wheel 75 (such as gears) at two ends will transfer the power from the servo motor 71 and the transfer shaft 74 to the rotary wheels 32. The way for the servo motor 71 to drive the transfer shaft 74 is that a set of matched gear set 76 is combined to servo motor 71 and the transfer shaft 74. For example an umbrella gear as illustrated in the drawings.

A saddle 8 as illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2 is a seat for supporting a user. The saddle 8 has an Ω shape cylinder 81. Two lateral walls of an open end of the cylinder 81 are combined to the saddle retainer 53 of the first linkage 51. The cylinder 81 is further installed with a cushion 82. The shape of the saddle 8 is not confined by those illustrated in the drawings. Other structure capable of being fixed to the first linkage 51 is permissible.

Thereby by above base 1, swing seat 2, swing unit 3, transfer wheel set 4, crank 5, adjusting device 6, driving unit 7, the waist training machine of the present invention is illustrated with various effects as illustrated in FIGS. 8 and 9.

The driving unit 7 drives the transfer wheel set 4 and the crank 5 so that in operation, the crank 5 will cause the saddle 8 to move forwards and backwards, upwards and downwards. The driving unit 7 drives the swing unit 3 to cause the swing seat 2 can swing leftwards and rightwards. The structure of the present invention causes a structure more delicate than the prior art waist training machine. The elements of the present invention are less than those in the prior art and thus the cost in components and assembly is low. In the present invention, an adjusting device 6 serve to connect the transfer wheel set 4 and the crank 5 so that the first linkage 51 of the crank 5 can adjust the eccentricity of the transfer wheel set 4. The swing amplitude is controllable by users. By setting the rotational speed of the driving unit 7, the amplitude and frequency are also controllable.

The present invention is thus described, it will be obvious that the same may be varied in many ways. Such variations are not to be regarded as a departure from the spirit and scope of the present invention, and all such modifications as would be obvious to one skilled in the art are intended to be included within the scope of the following claims.

Claims

1. A waist training machine comprising:

a base;
a swing seat swingable leftwards and rightwards, an upper side thereof being installed with a transfer wheel retaining seat, and another end thereof being installed with a crank retainer;
a swing unit installed below the swing seat for driving the swing seat to move leftwards and rightwards;
a transfer wheel set having a driving wheel and two crank wheels at two sides; a rotary shaft combined to the driving wheel and the crank wheels; by combination of the rotary shaft and the swing seat, the waist training machine is rotatable;
a crank having a first linkage and a second linkage pivotally connected to the first linkage; a free end of the first linkage being combined to an eccentric position of a crank wheel of the transfer wheel set; and a free end of the second linkage being combined to the crank retaining seat;
a driving unit having at least one servo motor for driving the transfer wheel set to rotate; and
a saddle combined to the first linkage of the crank;
wherein by above mentioned elements, the saddle can move forwards and forwards, upwards and backwards, and leftwards and rightwards.

The waist training machine as claimed in claim 1, further comprising an adjusting device for adjusting the eccentricity of the free end of the first linkage with respect to the crank wheel so that the swing amplitude of the crank is adjustable; the adjusting device being formed by a servo motor and a guide rod; the guide rod is screwed with a sliding block so that the servo motor is combined to an outer middle portion of the crank wheel and the guide rod is at a radial extension position of the crank wheel; the sliding block 63 is embedded to a radial track; if the free end of the first linkage is rotatably combined to the sliding block; the servo motor will be used to drive the guide rod so that the sliding block and the second linkage can be used to adjust the eccentricity.

The waist training machine as claimed in claim 1, wherein the driving unit has a servo motor which is combined to a predetermined position at a lower side of the swing seat; a power output shaft of the driving unit is combined with a first driving wheel; the first driving wheel and a belt passing through the slot will drive the driving wheel of the transfer wheel set.

The waist training machine as claimed in claim 1, wherein the driving unit has a servo motor which is combined to a predetermined position at a lower side of the swing seat; a power output shaft of the driving unit is combined with a first driving wheel; the first driving wheel and a belt passing through the slot will drive the driving wheel of the transfer wheel set; a transfer shaft passes through the transfer axial seat so that the two ends of the transfer shaft extend to the rotary wheels of the swing unit; the second driving wheel at two ends will transfer the power from the servo motor and the transfer shaft to the rotary wheels.

5. The waist training machine as claimed in claim 1, wherein front and rear ends of the upper sides of the base are installed with respective first pivotal portions; two ends thereof are installed with respective second pivotal portions which are combined to the first pivotal portions.

The waist training machine as claimed in claim 1, wherein an upper end of the swing seat is formed with a penetrating slot; upper ends of the two sides of the slot are installed with respective retaining seats for the transfer wheel set; another end thereof is installed with at least one crank retaining seat; a bottom of the swing seat is installed with a plurality of aligned transfer axial seats.

The waist training machine as claimed in claim 1, wherein the swing unit has two limiting plates which are fixed to the two upper ends of the base; each limiting plate has a limiting trench; two rotary wheels are combined to the predetermined positions of the transfer axial seat below the swing seat; each rotary wheel is at a lateral side of the limiting plate; an eccentric position at a lateral surface of each rotary wheel has a pin; the pin passes through the limiting trench; a bearing is installed to the pin so that a periphery of the bearing is matched to the limiting trench; thereby when the rotary wheel is driven by a power source, the swing seat swings leftwards and rightwards.

8. The waist training machine as claimed in claim 1, wherein the saddle is a seat for supporting a user; the saddle has an Ω shape cylinder; two lateral walls of an open end of the cylinder are combined to the saddle retainer of the first linkage; the cylinder is further installed with a cushion.
