Portable Screen Used in Game Machine

A portable screen is used in a game machine and integrated therewith. The users can enjoy the audio-visual amusement supplying by the game machine at any time and any position. The portable screen is also easy to be received and schlepped. Furthermore, the present invention preferably includes a game machine having a plurality of heat-dissipating holes. The portable screen includes a base and a screen body coupled on the base. The base of the portable screen has a plurality of latches corresponding to the heat-dissipating holes of the game machine to fasten in the heat-dissipating holes. The assembly only needs an action without any addition tool to integrate the portable screen with the game machine successfully.

Description
1. FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to portable screens, and more particularly to a portable screen used in a game machine with simple structure.

2. DESCRIPTION OF THE RELATED ART

Now game machines have been main enjoyable tools to the people, and are not only welcomed by Children and young people, but also by many adults. To satisfy needs of game players, game manufactures will research and develop the new kinds of the game machines forever without stopping. With the development of the semiconductor technology, the new kinds of the game machines have been added many new functions.

Now in the new kinds of the game machines, the game machines designed and manufactured by several manufacturers, such as Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo, etc., have absorbed main attentions. The game machines, for example, XBOX-360 manufactured by the Microsoft, not only increases the processing speed and the efficiency in wholes so that it can support needs of the professional players, such as high quality display image, and high processing speed, but also can be used to play music, access the Internet, process and operate files, etc. The users can connect the XBOX-360 with portable music player devices, a digital camera, a personal computer, or a TV in a parlor directly to play diversified audio and video source on hand to enjoy the full audio-visual amusements.

That is, the new kinds of the game machines have developed in a direction for being an enjoyable center of a family. However, the game machines must be used with a TV screen or a display of the computer. That is, the game machines usually are played in a positioned a fixed position, such as a room or a parlor having the TV screen or the display of the computer. Since the TV screen or the display of the computer have a large bulk occupying a large space, and not easy to move, the game machines are played very inconveniently.

BRIEF SUMMARY

The present invention is to provide a portable screen used in a game machine. The portable screen is integrated with the game machine to replace the conventional TV screen or the display of the computer connected with the game machine. The portable screen used in the game machine is not limited by the space and the position, occupies little space, and is easy to be received and schlepped.

Furthermore, the present invention is to provide a portable screen used in a game machine, which has a base fasten able into a plurality of heat-dissipating holes arranged on the game machine itself, to integrate a screen body of the portable screen with the game machine. The portable screen used in the game machine has a simple structure, and the assembly only needs an action without any addition tools so that it is used very simply and easy.

The present invention provides a portable screen used in a game machine, which is integrated with the game machine. The game machine may be any kind of the game machine in sells, such as XBOX-360, PS2 or N64. The user can enjoy the audio-visual amusements supplying by the game machine at any time and any position. Furthermore, the game machine may include a plurality of heat-dissipating holes, such as XBOX-360. The XBOX-360 has the plurality of heat-dissipating holes arranged at the two sides thereof, and the portable screen includes a base and a screen body coupled on the base. The base of the portable screen has a plurality of latches corresponding to the heat-dissipating holes of the game machine to fasten in the heat-dissipating holes. The assembly only needs an action without any addition tools to integrate the XBOX-360 with the game machine successfully. The portable screen of the present invention has a simple structure in whole, and is easy to be received and schlepped with occupying little space. The portable screen can be used without any limit of the time and the operating position.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

Reference will now be made to the drawings to describe a preferred embodiment of the present portable screen used in a game machine, in detail.

FIG. 1 is a schematic view of a portable screen used in a game machine in accordance with the present invention. The designing of the present invention is providing a portable screen 20 mounted on a game machine 10 with any mode. That is, the portable screen 20 is integrated with the game machine 10 such that a space of the portable screen 20 and the game machine 10 is compact to avoid the game machine 10 being limited by the space and operating positions. The users can enjoy amusements provided by the game machine 10 at any time and any position.

FIG. 2 is a schematic, exploded view of the portable screen used in an XBOX-360. Referring to FIG. 2, in this exemplary embodiment, a portable screen 30 is coupled on the XBOX-360. The portable screen 30 includes a base 31 and a screen body 32. The base 31 is configured for supporting the screen body 32, and includes a bottom plate 311 and a back plate 312. A joint 313 is arranged behind the bottom plate 311 to be coupled with the screen body 32 such that the screen body 32 can rotate to open and close with the base 31. The screen body 32 is a liquid crystal display having advantages, such as low radiation, compact space and low power-dissipation, etc. The liquid crystal display integrated with the game machine 40, produces an integrative aesthetic feeling. Furthermore, a display screen 321 of the screen body 32 is designed and facing towards the bottom plate 311 such that the display screen may be received towards the bottom plate 311 to be prevented form being destroyed. The back plate 312 is designed to correspond to the show of the game machine 40 to have a corresponding arc shape. Furthermore, the back plate 311 is connected with the bottom plate 311 via the joint 313 to cover the back of the game machine 40 and beautify the integrative show.

Furthermore, a plurality of latches 314 is arranged at the base as shown in FIG. 3. In this exemplary embodiment, each latch 134 includes a head portion 315 having a width larger than an aperture of the heat-dissipating hole 41. The head portion 315 is made of an elastic material having little flexible property. The head portion 315 can pass through the heat-dissipating hole 41 by pressing to change shapes, and relapse because of the elastic property such that the head portion 315 can fasten in the heat-dissipating hole 41 only by pressing without any other action and tool.

Since the heat-dissipating holes 41 are arranged at the two opposite side of the game machine 40, in this exemplary embodiment, every two latches 314 is a group and mounted on a mounting plate 316 respectively. The mounting plate 316 may includes a mounting element (not shown), such as screw, to be fixed at the two side of the bottom plate 311. The position of the mounting plate 316 can be adjusted under the needs of the user and the position of the heat-dissipating hole 41.

FIG. 4 is a schematic, exploded view of the portable screen integrated with the XBOX-360 of FIG. 2. In this exemplary embodiment, the portable screen 30 is coupled on the game machine 40 via directly fastening the plurality of the latches of the base 31 into the heat-dissipating hole of the game machine 40. The integrative structure is simple and compact. Furthermore, the portable screen 30 is assembled on the game machine 40 only via an action without any tool. Therefore, the assembly is simple. The portable screen 30 can be used and schlepped with the game machine 40 to replace the conventional TV screen or the display of the computer such that it is not limited by the space and the operating position.

Furthermore, the portable screen of the present invention can be also used with another kind of the game machines. FIGS. 5 and 6 are schematic, exploded views of the portable screen used in a PS2 or a N64 respectively. As shown in FIGS, the portable screen 30 is coupled on the game machine 50 or 60 (PS2 or N64), and can rotate on the game machine 50 or 60. The portable screen 30 can cover correspondingly on the game machine 50 or 60 to be easy to receive and schlep. Furthermore, the display screen 321 is designed towards the game machine 50 or 60 to be protected.

Of course, the portable screen may be integrated on the game machine with other modes, such as jointing, and riveting, etc.

The present portable screen may be integrated with the game machine, the users can enjoy the amusement providing by the game machine at any time and any position. The game machine can be used without the TV screen or the display of the computer at any corner of the family and is not limited by the large bulk of the TV screen or the display of the computer. Further, the game machines can be used in a car to play games or enjoy other amusement. The portable screen of the present invention has a simply structure, and is easy to receive and schlep so as to use conveniently for the users.

Given the above disclosure, one skilled in the art could devise variations that are within the scope and spirit of the invention disclosed herein, including configurations ways of the recessed portions and materials and/or designs of the attaching structures. Further, the various features of the embodiments disclosed herein can be used alone, or in varying combinations with each other and are not intended to be limited to the specific combination described herein. Thus, the scope of the claims is not to be limited by the illustrated embodiments.

Claims

1. A portable screen used in a game machine, wherein the portable screen is integrated with the game machine.

2. The portable screen used in the game machine of claim 1, wherein the portable screen is a liquid crystal display.

3. The portable screen used in the game machine of claim 1, wherein the game machine is selected from a group consisting of XBOX 360, PS2 and N64.

4. The portable screen used in the game machine of claim 3, wherein the XBOX 360 includes a plurality of heat-dissipating holes arranged at the two opposite side of the top surface of the XBOX 360.

5. The portable screen used in the game machine of claim 4, wherein the portable screen integrated with the game machine, comprises:

a screen body; and
a base coupled with the screen body, the base having a plurality of latches arranged correspondingly to the heat-dissipating holes to fasten the heat-dissipating holes such that the screen body is fixed on the game machine.

6. The portable screen used in the game machine of claim 5, wherein the latches are made of an elastic material.

7. The portable screen used in the game machine of claim 6, wherein each one of the latches comprises a head portion, the head portion passes through one of the heat-dissipating holes by pressing, and is limited to the heat-dissipating holes by relapsing.

8. The portable screen used in the game machine of claim 7, wherein the heat portion has a width larger than an aperture of each of the heat-dissipating holes.

9. The portable screen used in the game machine of claim 5, wherein the latches are moveable and assembled on the base to be adjusted.

10. The portable screen used in the game machine of claim 5, wherein the screen body is coupled on the base, and rotate to open and close with the base.

11. The portable screen used in the game machine of claim 10, wherein the screen body is coupled with the backside of the base.

12. The portable screen used in the game machine of claim 11, wherein the screen body comprises a screen display facing towards the base, and the screen display may be received in a manner facing towards the base to be protected.
