The safety and control device for a domestic electrical appliance according to the present invention comprises a body comprising, on each of its sides, power supply plugs arranged in pairs and produced in thin metal blades having a tapered end.

The safety and control device for a domestic electrical appliance according to the present invention comprises a body comprising, on its side opposite to that receiving the capillary or the bimetallic safety disk, on the one hand, in its middle, a centering cylindrical skirt and, on the other hand, close to the cylindrical skirt and on one and the same axis as the latter, a tapped hole.

The safety and control device for a domestic electrical appliance according to the present invention comprises an electromechanical safety device comprising a pair of plugs comprising screw terminals or similar, enabling a connection to the electrical power supply phases of the electricity network.

The safety and control device for a domestic electrical appliance according to the present invention comprises plugs, the tapered profile of which cooperates with holes provided in the insulating plate in order to be connected to the printed circuits by a spot of solder.

The safety and control device for a domestic electrical appliance according to the present invention comprises an insulating plate provided on one of its sides with a printed circuit supplying an electronic control system for driving a domestic electrical appliance and on the other side an electromechanical safety device connected to the printed circuit.

The description that follows in light of the appended drawings, given by way of nonlimiting examples, will provide a better understanding of the invention, its characteristics and the advantages that it can provide:

FIGS. 1 and 2 are exploded perspective views illustrating the safety and control device before its assembly, according to the present invention.

FIGS. 3 and 4 are perspective views showing the safety and control device in the assembled position according to the present invention.

FIGS. 5 and 6 are perspective views representing a variant of the connection of the safety and control device in the assembled position according to the present invention.

FIGS. 1 to 4 show a safety and control device 1 comprising an electronic card 2 and an electromechanical safety device 3.

The electronic card 2 comprises an insulating plate 4 comprising, on one of its sides 20, a printed circuit 15 supplying an electronic control system 5 for driving a domestic electrical appliance.

The insulating plate 4 is drilled with holes 6, 7 and 16 for fixing and connecting to the printed circuit 15 the electromechanical safety device 3.

The electromechanical safety device 3 comprises a body 8 produced in an insulating material and joined to a capillary or a bimetallic safety disk 9.

The body 8 comprises, on each of its sides, power supply plugs 10, 12 arranged in pairs and produced in thin metal blades having a tapered end 10a, 12a.

The body 8 comprises, on its side opposite to that receiving the capillary or the bimetallic safety disk 9, on the one hand, in its middle, a centering cylindrical skirt 17 and, on the other hand, close to the cylindrical skirt 17 and on one and the same axis as the latter, a tapped hole 13.

The electromechanical safety device 3 can, as a variant, include at least one pair of plugs 10, 12 comprising screw terminals 11 or similar enabling a connection to the electrical power supply phases of the electricity network (FIGS. 5 and 6).

The electromechanical safety device 3 is fixed to the electronic plate 4 and more particularly to the side 21 opposite to that 20 receiving the electronic control system 5.

The electromechanical safety device 3 is fixed to the electronic plate 4 via a screw 14 passing through the hole 16 and cooperating with the tapped hole 13, while the cylindrical skirt 17 passes through the hole 7.

When fixing the body 8 to the electronic plate 4, at least one of the pairs of plugs 10, 12 according to its construction passes through the corresponding holes 6 for the tip of the tapered profile 10a, 12a of each plug to emerge at the level of the side 20 receiving the electronic control system 5.

When the tapered points 10a, 12a of the pairs of plugs 10, 12 are placed in the corresponding holes 6, the latter are connected to the printed circuits 15 of the electronic plate 4 by a spot of solder.

Depending on the construction of the pairs of plugs 10, 12, it will be noted that either the two pairs or at least one of them are connected to the printed circuits 15 of the electronic plate 4 by a spot of solder (FIGS. 5 and 6).

The electromechanical safety device 3 can comprise a number of pairs of connecting plugs according to the number of phases in the electrical power supply phases of the electricity network.

It will be noted that the insulating plate 4 can comprise on one and the same side the electronic control system 5 and the electromechanical safety device 3.

It should also be understood that the above description is given only as an example and it by no means limits the scope of the invention which would not be departed from by replacing the build details described with any other equivalent.
