Exercise soft pad with ventilation
An exercise soft pad with ventilation includes a pad body made of a foam material. The pad has a pad surface for its user to exercise thereon. The pad surface has several vent holes going through the pad body. Therefore, the hot air produced by the user exercising thereon can go out through the ventilation holes.
1. Field of Invention
The invention relates to an exercise soft pad with ventilation and, in particular, to a foam soft pad with ventilation.
2. Related Art
Owing to the prevalence of yoga and aerobatics, exercise soft pads have become a popular product. Most of them are made of foam materials. However, such soft pads are worse in ventilation. Therefore, the user is likely to experience hotness and humidity as he or she sweats. In the worst case, the sweats may make the pad so sticky that the pad is lifted with body motion.
Therefore, it is the purpose of the invention to solve these problems by modifying the surface of the soft pad.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONAn objective of the invention is to provide an exercise soft pad with ventilation. Using an appropriate design of vent holes, hot air can be guided out as the user does exercises thereon. The user thus feels more comfortable. The vent hole structure also provides cushion effects. A suitable arrangement of the shape and pattern of the vent holes may even achieve a decorating effect.
In accord with the above-mentioned objective, the disclosed soft pad includes a pad body made of a foam material. The pad body has a pad surface for the user to exercise thereon. The pad surface is formed with several vent holes going through the pad body.
The invention will become more fully understood from the detailed description given herein below illustration only, and thus is not limitative of the present invention, and wherein:
The present invention will be apparent from the following detailed description, which proceeds with reference to the accompanying drawings, wherein the same references relate to the same elements.
With reference to
Please refer to
Even when the sweats fall on the pad body 1, the structure of the vent holes 12 also prevents the pad body 1 from moving with the user's motion.
The structure of the vent holes 12 can increase the cushion effect of the pad body 1. The user feels more softness on the pad body 1.
In addition to the above-mentioned features, the vent holes can have decorating effects. As shown in the second and third embodiments, different arrangements of the vent holes form different patterns on the pad body 1, such as the brand name, logo, or lucky pattern.
Although the invention has been described with reference to specific embodiments, this description is not meant to be construed in a limiting sense. Various modifications of the disclosed embodiments, as well as alternative embodiments, will be apparent to persons skilled in the art. It is, therefore, contemplated that the appended claims will cover all modifications that fall within the true scope of the invention.
Claims
1. A soft exercise mat with ventilation, comprising:
- a pad body made of a foam material;
- a pad surface formed on opposing outer sides of the pad body for a user to exercise thereon; and
- a plurality of vent through holes formed through the opposing pad surfaces and extending through the pad body for providing a cushioning effect, each vent hole defining an open through bore for ventilating heated air from the user;
- wherein the dimensions of said exercise mat are adapted to be sized to permit the body of a user to lie thereon.
2. The soft exercise mat with ventilation of claim 1, wherein the vent through holes are distributed all over the pad surface and each vent through hole has a contour defined by a small circular hole.
3. The soft exercise mat with ventilation of claim 1, wherein the vent through holes include large circular through holes distributed all over the pad surfaces and small circular through holes having a diameter less than the diameter of said large circular through holes formed in a pattern defining predetermined indicia.
