Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a connector, and more particularly to a connector for a simple cabinet.

2. Description of the Prior Art

Referring to FIG. 1, a conventional connector 90 for a simple cabinet includes a disk base 91 formed with a +-shaped locking structure 92 in one surface thereof, and the +-shaped locking structure 92 defines four side inserting grooves 95. Moreover, around the periphery of the disk base 91 are defined four back inserting grooves 94 vertical to the side inserting grooves 95, such arrangements are used for assembling the simple cabinet. In addition, when assembling the simple cabinet, back frames and side frames of the simple cabinet are inserted into the back inserting grooves 94 and the side inserting grooves 95, respectively, such that the simple cabinet can be assembled and disassembled easily.

However, the function of the conventional simple cabinet is too limited, which cannot meet the users' multi-function requirement.

The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a connector for a simple cabinet, in a gap between each two back inserting grooves is defined an inserting hole for insertion of a column-shaped object, so that the simple cabinet can be assembled with different equipments such as a mirror or a necktie frame, so as to achieve the multi-function requirement.

The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings, which show, for purpose of illustrations only, the preferred embodiments in accordance with the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Referring to FIG. 2, a connector 10 for a simple cabinet in accordance with the present invention comprises a disk base 11 formed with a +-shaped locking structure 12 in one surface thereof, the +-shaped locking structure 12 includes four pairs of parallel locking portions 13, and each pair of parallel locking portions 13 defines a side inserting groove 15. Moreover, around the periphery of the disk base 11 are defined four back inserting grooves 14 vertical to the side inserting grooves 15, such arrangements are used for assembling the simple cabinet. In addition, in the gap between each two back inserting grooves 14 is defined an inserting hole 16 for insertion of a column-shaped object.

Referring to FIG. 3, the connector for a simple cabinet in accordance with a first embodiment of the present invention is shown, after inserting the back frames of the cabinet (not shown) into the back inserting grooves 14, and inserting the side frames 22 into the side inserting grooves 15, the assembly of a simple cabinet 20 is finished. FIG. 4 is an amplified view of the connector 10 at the upper left front of the simple cabinet 20 of FIG. 3, and it can be seen from the figure that the inserting hole 16 of this connector 10 opens toward the right. Similarly, the inserting hole 16 (not shown) of the connector 10 at the upper right of the simple cabinet 20 opens toward the left oppositely to the above-mentioned inserting hole 16. A front frame 23 can be inserted between two inserting holes 16 by pivot posts 230, so as to form an openable door of the simple cabinet 20 as shown in FIG. 5, and the lower portion of the door is not fixed.

Referring to FIG. 6, the connector for a simple cabinet in accordance with a second embodiment of the present invention is shown, and the simple cabinet 30 is formed by the same method as the first embodiment. The inserting holes 16 of the transverse adjacent connectors 10 located at the lower front of the simple cabinet 30 open upward, and a support rod 32 can be inserted between two inserting holes 16 and is provided for fixing bottle-shaped objects such as a glass bottle. Thereby, the simple cabinet 30 can be used as a wine rack or a drink rack.

Referring to FIG. 7, the connector for a simple cabinet in accordance with a third embodiment of the present invention is shown, and the simple cabinet 40 is formed by the same method as the first embodiment. The inserting holes 16 of the adjacent connectors 10 located at the upper front of the simple cabinet 40 open upward, an inserting pole 42 for insertion of a mirror 41 is inserted into the inserting hole 16 at the upper left of the connector 10, and another inserting pole 43 is inserted into the inserting hole 16 at the upper right of the connector 10 for hanging the objects such as a necktie or a towel. Thereby, such a simple cabinet 40 can collect small objects.

Referring to FIG. 8, the connector for a simple cabinet in accordance with a fourth embodiment of the present invention is shown, and the simple cabinet 40 is formed by the same method as the first embodiment. The inserting holes 16 of the adjacent connectors 10 located at the upper front of the simple cabinet 50 open upward, and a suspending rack 52 having a plurality of hooks 520 can be inserted between two inserting holes 16 and is provided for hanging small objects such as a hat or a necklace.

The above-mentioned connectors 10 are basic embodiments of the present invention, and the components of the present invention can also be changed. For example, around the periphery of the disk base 11 can be defined more than one inserting hole 16, and the shape of the disk base 11 or the locking structure 12 can be changed.

While we have shown and described various embodiments in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
