Waterproof hoody

My invention is an improvement to an existing Hooded Sweatshirt. I will sew waterproof type material, such as Nylon type material or Gortex™ to the back of the Hooded Sweatshirt to create a waterproof barrier to keep the back dry. The waterproof Hooded Sweatshirt will be used for wearing and keeping the individual wearing the Hooded Sweatshirt dry from snow-melt and outdoor elements. The main components are comprised of an existing Hooded Sweatshirt with waterproof type material, such as Nylon or Gortex™ attached by method of sewing to attach to the back of the Hooded Sweatshirt.

Description

Invention consists of applying a layer of waterproof type material (FIG. 1), to the back of the existing Hooded Sweatshirt (FIG. 3), so as to provide a waterproof structure type barrier for the back, side, and middle back of the Sweatshirt (FIG. 1). The waterproof type material will be sewn on to the back of the Hooded Sweatshirt in a fashion (FIG. 2), so as to cover the existing Sweatshirt material in order to construct a waterproof backing type barrier for waterproofing apparel.

The construction in this fashion creates a waterproof backing (FIG. 1), so as not to allow snow to melt and soak into the back of the existing Sweatshirt material.

Claims

1. What I claim as my invention is an existing fleece type Hooded Sweatshirt with waterproof type material sewn to the back of the Hooded Sweatshirt, so as to make the existing Hooded Sweatshirt material waterproof on the back side (FIG. 1); furthermore, the waterproof type material to be used is comprised of nylon type waterproof material (FIG. 1) which is sewn to the back of the Hooded Sweatshirt, which consists of fleece type material (FIG. 3); furthermore, the waterproof type material will be sewn to the back of the Hooded Sweatshirt in such a fashion, so as to attach the waterproof material to the Hooded Sweatshirt material creating a waterproof barrier and sealing off the edges of the waterproof material (FIG. 2).
