DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, a display equipment of gas contents 10 of the first preferred embodiment of the present invention has an end connected to a gas supply 1, which is a gas barrel in the present invention, and the other end connected to a case 3 of a gas stove 2. The display equipment of gas contents 10 includes a sensing device 12 and a display device 14.

The sensing device 12 includes a valve member 22, a floating member 24 and an elastic member 25. The valve member 22 includes a main body 26, a fastener 28, a lid 30 and a connector 32. The main body 26 has a gas tunnel 36 and a chamber 38 communicated with the gas tunnel 36. The gas tunnel 36 includes an input section 40 and an output section 42. The input section 40, which is connected to the chamber 38, has a stair portion 46 on a sidewall thereof. The fastener 28, which is mounted in the chamber 38, has a through hole 48 and a bore 50 communicated with the through hole 50. The fastener 28 is kept a distance away from a bottom of the chamber 38. The lid 30, which is mounted on a top of the main body 26 to seal the chamber 38, has a recess 52 associated with the chamber 38. The connector 32 is fitted to the main body 26 to connect the gas supply 1. The floating member 24 has a pole 54, which is movably received in the through hole 48 of the fastener 28. The pole 54 has a block 56 at a bottom end thereof, on which a pressed surface 58 is formed, and a hole 60 communicating the pressed surface 58 with the chamber 38. The elastic member 25 is a spiral spring urging the block 56 of the pole 54 and a bottom end of the bore 50 of the fastener 28 to urge the floating member 24 having the block 56 against the stair portion 46.

The display device 14 includes a switch 62, a display 64 and a power supply 66. The switch 62, which is a conventional microswitch received in the recess 52, has a driving point 68 touching a top of the floating member 24 to be moved by the floating member 24 for turning the switch 62 on or off. The display 64 is mounted on the case 3 of the gas stove 2 including a circuit board (not shown) and two lights 70, 72, which are light emitting diodes (LEDs), to emit green light and red light respectively by the command of the circuit board. The light 70 lights when the switch 62 is turned on, and the light 72 lights when the switch 62 is turned off. The circuit board and the lights 70, 72 are conventional devices, so we do not describe the detail here. The power supply 66 provides the switch 62 and the display 64 power.

The operation mode and function of the display equipment of gas contents 10 of the present invention are described hereunder:

The gas supply 1 provides gas into the input section 40 of the gas tunnel 36 to press the pole 54 on the pressed surface 58 that the floating member 24 will be moved upward when the gas pressure compresses the elastic member 25, as shown in FIG. 4. In this time, gas flows to the output section 44 through the chamber 38 and the hole 60, and the flows to the gas stove for burning. The raising floating member 24 will touch the driving point 68 to turn on the switch 62 and light the light 70 (green light) that user is informed the gas supply is normal when he/she see the green light.

On the contrary, when the gas supply 1 almost runs out that the gas pressure is not enough to compress the elastic member 25, the floating member 24 will go down and the switch 62 is turned off that the light 70 of the display will be out and the light 72 lights (red light). If user sees the red light, it means the gas supply 1 are almost running out, he/she should replace a new one. The red light has another meaning, which is whether there is a gas leakage when user finds the gas supply 1 is full.

As shown in FIG. 5, a display equipment of gas contents 80 of the second preferred embodiment of the present invention, which is basically as same as the first preferred embodiment, except that a switch 82 has a piece 84 mounted on a valve member 86, and a floating member 88 reaches out of the valve member 86 to touch the piece 84 of the switch 82. A floating member 88 has a block 90 against an annular sealing member 94 and an annular pad 96 on a top of a stair portion 92 at initial. As shown in FIG. 6, the floating member 88 of the display system of gas contents 80 may be moved by gas pressure to press the piece 84 for turning the switch 82 on that the display equipment of gas contents 80 will have the same function as above.

FIG. 7 shows a display equipment of gas contents 100 of the third preferred embodiment, which is similar to above, except that a ball 102 is provided in an input section 106 of a valve member 104 associated with a chamber 108. The ball 102 will be squeezed into a sealing member 110 to block the gas when the gas pressure is suddenly rising up that may put off the flame of the gas stove for safety.

In conclusion, the display device of the display equipment of gas contents of the present invention may be mounted on a control penal of the gas stove and the sensing device is mounted on the gas supply that the sensing device may sense the gas pressure and show the information on the display device on the gas stove to warm user who bakes or cooks on the gas stove. The display equipment of gas contents of the present invention also may warm user whether there is a gas leakage that provides a safer and convenient way in using gas stoves.

The description above is a few preferred embodiments of the present invention and the equivalence of the present invention is still in the scope of the claim of the present invention.
