Multi-Floor Building

A multi-floor building comprising a floor garden unit, set on every floor of all floors or every floor of continuous multiple floors, wherein the floor garden unit has a height of two or more floors and is open to outside. A plane projection of two adjacent floor garden units is non-overlapping. A bottom space of an upper floor garden unit and a upper space of an adjacent lower floor garden unit are at a same floor and partially run through. At least two of the floor garden units are in a superposed state to form a set of superposing garden arrangement. The bottom plate of the upper floor garden unit is a roof plate of the adjacent lower floor garden unit. Every two of the floor garden units run through each other in turn to form a stereo-terraced garden.

CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS

This application is a continuation of International Patent Application No. PCT/CN2007/002109, with an international filing date of Jul. 9, 2007, which is based on Chinese Patent Application No. 200610061577.9 filed Jul. 10, 2006. The contents of these specifications, including any intervening amendments thereto, are incorporated herein by reference.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The invention relates to a multi-floor building, and more particularly to a multi-floor building comprising a plurality of residential floors, office floors or guestroom floors, such as a residential building, office building, hotel, a commercial building, or a multipurpose building.

2. Description of the Related Art

Present day buildings are becoming higher and denser to save land space. At the same time, recreational outdoor space becomes scarce. It is, therefore, important to incorporate recreational space into building design.

Outdoor sport is an important guarantee for good health. And the communication among people living in different floors is an important guarantee for mental health. But the traditional building can not provide a place to achieve the above demands for the needed technical level is very high. The technical difficulty is not say that people can not built the building with the above place (the hanging gardens has been built about thousands of years ago, such as the Hanging Garden of Babylon). The technical difficulty is that, how to built a place to achieve the above demands with low cost and land resources.

The high-rise building has actually been around for over a hundred years. There are several millions of architects who design the high-rise building. But, it is very difficult to solve the problem of communication among people living in different floors. So it is a main reason that why the high-rise buildings are not popular in the world.

The infant, old people, disabled persons and unemployed man are the population who lack of social contact and motor ability. So if they can not communicate with and get help from other people living in different floors, there will be many difficulties in their life. The difficulty of communication among people living in different floors exerts tremendous influence on the society.

Nowadays, in the world, the problem of communication among people living in different floors receives attention day by day. There have been a lot of papers and monographs about the problem of communication among people living in a building. But no one can provide an architectural designing project which can indeed resolve the above problem.

The traditional indoor garden is a traditional floor garden or a traditional roof garden. The present invention relates to the traditional floor garden. As shown in FIG. 1, the traditional floor garden 100 comprises a flat bottom plate provided at a certain floor for an outdoor activity and communication place, and the height of the traditional floor garden is usually the height of two or more floors.

However, the above-mentioned design of a floor garden has several drawbacks:

    • (1) The floor garden can't be provided at every floor. The floor garden has the height of two or more floors, so when the floor garden is provided at a plurality of floors respectively, the floor garden should be provided every at least one floor. That is to say, a part of the floors are provided with the floor garden, and another part of the floors are not provided with the floor garden. This type of arrangement is inefficient for people who live on alternate floors.
    • (2) The floor garden is difficult to share and enjoy by people living at different floors. Because of the separated floor gardens 100, people living at alternate floors can't see an adjacent floor garden so that people can't enjoy the resource of the adjacent floor garden.
    • (3) People living at different floors can't communicate conveniently with each other. Having a height of two or more floors, the floor garden 100 only serves the ground floor space 101. A second floor space 102 has an aisle with a height of one floor. No stairs are provided to connect the aisle and the garden ground, which is inconvenient for people living at a plurality of floors in the height of the floor garden to take part in common activities and communicate with each other. The two adjacent floor gardens 100 are separated such that people can't communicate conveniently with each other.
    • (4) The space and view of the floor garden is unsophisticated, and the area of the floor garden is limited. Most of the space of the floor garden is cube-shaped, and one side is open to outside; the other five sides are surrounded by the building walls or the floor plates. As a result, the space, view, lighting and ventilating of the floor garden are simple. Furthermore, the floor garden has a relatively small space size and area.
    • (5) The garden floors provided at different floors can't be ventilated vertically. Only one side thereof is open to outside to provide lateral ventilation without the vertical ventilation from the ground to the sky. Vertical ventilation is capable of improving the climate in the floor garden and building so as to bring the feeling of adjacency to the nature to people.
    • (6) A footpath with a predetermined length can't be provided. The length of the footpath is limited by the size of the floor garden, generally to 10-20 m only for pacing back and forth. As a result, the floor garden experiences less use at the end portion.
    • (7) The floor garden has lower utilization efficiency and in many instances has been abandoned.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

In view of the above-described problems, it is an objective of the invention to provide a multi-floor building, comprising: a stereo-terraced garden, which is capable of facilitating communication among people living on different floors, whereby enhancing communication among people living on the same floor and taking part in a variety of outdoor activities so as to provide more choices for the public.

A multi-floor building has at least four floors and comprises: a floor garden unit provided on every floor of all floors or every floor of continuous multiple floors and comprising a bottom plate on the every floor, the floor garden unit, provided at a building facade, has a height of two or more floors and is open to outside, a plane projection of two adjacent floor garden units is non-overlapping, a bottom space of an upper floor garden unit and a upper space of an adjacent lower floor garden unit being at a same floor and partially running through; at least two of floor garden units are at a superposed state to form a set of superposing garden arrangement, the bottom plate of the upper floor garden unit is a roof plate of the adjacent lower floor garden unit in the set of superposing garden arrangement, and every two of the floor garden units run through each other in turn to form a stereo-terraced garden.

In a class of this embodiment, the floor, at which the upper floor garden unit of the stereo-terraced garden is provided, has a horizontal public traffic area or an open activity area with a height of one floor, and one side of the floor connects with the upper space of the adjacent lower floor garden unit, and an opposite side of the floor connects with the building wall.

In a class of this embodiment, planar positions of the continuous multiple floor garden units of the stereo-terraced garden vary alternately and back-and-forth from bottom to top with a period of two or more floors.

In a class of this embodiment, the stereo-terraced garden comprises a set of floor garden units, each of which is provided at three continuous floors respectively, and a plane projection of each of the set of floor garden units is apart from each other.

In a class of this embodiment, an open side of one of the two adjacent floor garden units of the stereo-terraced garden is provided at a building facade, and an open side of another of the two adjacent floor garden units is provided at the building facade or an adjacent building facade.

In a class of this embodiment, an open side of one of the two adjacent floor garden units of the stereo-terraced garden and an open side of the other of the two adjacent floor garden units form a concave angle at a building plane.

In a class of this embodiment, the stereo-terraced garden comprises continuous multiple floor garden units, the ground of each of the floor garden units has a plurality of stairs, steps and ramps for connected with the upper floor garden unit.

In a class of this embodiment, the stereo-terraced garden comprises a plurality of sets of superposing garden arrangement, and an elevator provided between two adjacent sets.

In a class of this embodiment, the floor garden unit of the stereo-terraced garden is provided upwardly and continuously from a roof or platform to a building top level or a bottom of a top double-level, and the roof or platform is regarded as a traffic hinge on the ground or adjacent to the ground.

In a class of this embodiment, the floor garden unit of the stereo-terraced garden communicates with a horizontal public traffic area or an open activity area at a same floor respectively to form a floor public area, the floor public area connects with a public stair or elevator, and the floor garden unit belongs entirely or partially to a public activity area.

In a class of this embodiment, the two adjacent floor garden units having the height of the stereo-terraced garden connect with each other by a penetrating space therebetween having a height of two or more floors, a distance between the two adjacent floor garden units being smaller than 4 m, or connects with each other by a penetrating horizontal public area therebetween having a height of one to two floors, a distance between the two adjacent floor garden units being smaller than about 10 m.

In a class of this embodiment, the stereo-terraced garden comprises a waterfall connected with a plurality of the floor garden units.

In a class of this embodiment, the multi-floor building is a building unit such that a sidewall of the multi-floor building connects with a sidewall of another multi-floor building, or a plurality of the multi-floor buildings connects continuously with each other to form an apartment building or a modular office building.

In a class of this embodiment, the open side of at least one floor garden unit of the stereo-terraced garden has a wall with a ratio more than 50% of a glass curtain and a partial window wall, and the floor garden unit is an indoor or semi-indoor garden.

In a class of this embodiment, the stereo-terraced garden comprises a path with a height of one floor at a same position of every one of at least continuous three floors, one side of the path connects with the building wall, and another side of the path connects with the two floor garden units synchronously, the bottom space of one of the two floor garden units runs through with the path and a floor ground is connected with each other, and the upper space of another of the two floor garden units runs through with the path and has a railing unit therebetween, a double-running turn-back stair is provided between the two floor garden units, a turn-back rest platform, provided at every floor, is the floor ground, the turn-back stair is provided at an exterior building facade, and an open side of each of the two sets of superposing garden arrangement is provided the exterior building facade.

In a class of this embodiment, the turn-back stair closes to and is parallel to the path, a horizontal distance between the path and the turn-back stair being less than or equal to about 0.6 m.

In a class of this embodiment, the turn-back stair and the open side of the floor garden unit are provided at the exterior building facade respectively.

In a class of this embodiment, the exterior building facade of the turn-back stair and the open side of the floor garden unit are kept at a level.

In a class of this embodiment, the floor garden unit of every floor of the set indents gradually along a vertical direction.

In a class of this embodiment, a partition wall is provided between the path and turn-back stair.

In a class of this embodiment, the floor garden unit of the stereo-terraced garden is provided upwardly and continuously from a roof or platform as a traffic hinge on the ground or adjacent to the ground, the floor garden unit belongs alternately to the two sets of superposing garden arrangement from bottom to top respectively, and the open side of each of the two sets of superposing garden arrangement is provided at the same building facade.

In a class of this embodiment, the stereo-terraced garden comprises a public traffic area with a height of one floor at a same position of every one of at least continuous three floors, one side of the public traffic area connects with the building wall, and another side of the public traffic area connects with the two floor garden units synchronously, the bottom space of one of the two floor garden units runs through the public traffic area and a floor ground is connected with each other, and the upper space of the other of the two floor garden units runs through the public traffic area and has a railing unit therebetween, and a building facade opposite to the open side of the stereo-terraced garden has a ventilating and light outlet for connected with the public traffic area.

In a class of this embodiment, the floor garden unit of the set of superposing garden arrangement of the stereo-terraced garden connects with each other by the double-running turn-back stair, the rest platform thereof is the floor garden unit of another set of superposing garden arrangement, and the turn-back stair is provided at the building facade on the open side of the stereo-terraced garden.

In a class of this embodiment, a long side of the turn-back stair is parallel to the open side of the stereo-terraced garden.

In a class of this embodiment, only one bearing pole is provided between the two sets of superposing garden arrangement and adjacent to the turn-back stair, and a girder, provided at the bottom plate of the floor garden unit besides the ground, is supported by the bearing pole and vertical to a long side of the turn-back stair.

In a class of this embodiment, an area of the floor garden unit of the stereo-terraced garden is greater than or equal to about 10 m2, and the floor garden unit has a circular surface with a diameter of at least 3 m.

In a class of this embodiment, the multi-floor building is a tower dwelling or an apartment building, having at least four families per every an elevator.

In a class of this embodiment, the open side is positioned toward east, west, north, northeast, or northwest.

In a class of this embodiment, the ventilating and lighting outlet are positioned near the floor garden unit by the public traffic area.

In a class of this embodiment, at least an enlarged garden area, having a height of one floor, is located on the floor at which the floor garden unit is provided, the enlarged garden area has at least an upper space connecting and continuously run through the floor garden unit or adjacent lower floor garden unit, the floor at which the floor garden unit is provided has at least a hall, a wall of which has a room gate, the hall communicates with the floor garden unit by the enlarged garden area, and rooms of the floor at which the floor garden units is provided (besides the elevator and tube well) communicate with the enlarged area and the floor garden unit by the hall.

In a class of this embodiment, a fire door is provided between the hall and enlarged garden area.

In a class of this embodiment, the elevator of the floor is provided in the hall respectively, and the elevator gate is located in a wall of the hall.

In a class of this embodiment, the floor at which the floor garden unit is provided has only two halls.

In a class of this embodiment, the hall is lit by natural light.

In a class of this embodiment, a horizontal distance between the two adjacent floor garden units of the stereo-terraced garden is smaller than about 1 m.

Compared with a prior art, the present invention has several advantages, as follows:

    • (1) Every floor has a floor garden unit to create harmonious atmosphere. The multi-floor building of the present invention provides roughly the same areas and functions for people of every floor to ensure their physical and mental well-being.
    • (2) Residents enjoy a plurality of outdoor places of a plurality of floors. The adjacent floor garden units of the invention can be run-through that people can take part in the exercise of adjacent by the line of sight, sound. The exercise of a exercise hold on one floor is three times of the prior art. If a express lift is provided between different garden units, people can share the space, planting, installation (e.g. fixed health equipment), human relation and other resourced. The residents are made full use of the resource, thus the investment can be cut down. For example: the fixed health equipments can be set every three floors; table tennis tables can be set every three floors; badminton court and swimming pool can be set every four or five floors. Thus, the residents living in high and high-rise buildings can use the equipment on upper floor or next floor; the residents living in high and high-rise buildings can play badmintons or swim after climbing up or down two floors. The fixed exercise places set on the garden units are different from the special sports halls and club houses, the residents can observe the exercise places to know whether there are any person doing exercise and who are doing exercise in the exercise places at their home. Then, the residents can make a further decision, i.e. whether they will take part in or not.
    • (3) A communicating space is provided between floors. The multi-floor building of the present invention provides a harmonious atmosphere for the residents of the same floor and adjacent floors.
    • (4) A quantity of the garden environment is improved. The space form of the garden is diversity. For example, the light direction and light angle is diversity. The residents can enjoy the human landscape and natural landscape of the upside floors and underside floors. The view is three times larger than before with the same investment. People at the garden position can view two floors garden units upside and two to four floors garden units downside. Each floor can view at least two floor garden units of different height. The space sight of each floor garden unit is rich and colorful. The ventilation quality is significantly improved. The vertically ventilation between different floors is achieved. If there are stairs between the garden units and the ground, the garden units can be connected to the ground. So the space of the garden units is large; the content of the garden units is abundant, and the garden units is closer to a garden on the ground.
    • (5) A hanging garden is provided, having vertical ventilation. The vertical ventilation can improve the environment of the building. The upside garden units and downside garden units are opened to each other to provide vertical ventilation. The vertical ventilation is capable of improving the climate in the floor garden and building so as to bring an environment feeling adjacent to the nature to people.
    • (6) A conservation footbath with a longer length is provided in the air. The ground and roof can be linked up by the garden with stairs, so the residents can get enough exercise space. People will have enough path of travel to view and observe the sight and various activities of residents. There are lots of people come and go, and appear in the floor garden units. So the floor garden units are avoided to become a dark corner of crime.
    • (7) A garden made sufficiently use is provided. The garden units are shared by residents of at least two floors. People at the garden position can view one or two floor garden units upside and one or two floor garden unit's downside. The residents of each floor can take part in the exercises at least three floors. The more shared things can be provided by the stereo terraced garden of the present invention.

Furthermore, there are also other advantages of the invention as below:

  • 1. If there are stairs set between the garden units of every floor and the ground, the stereo terraced garden can be as a fire escape stair. Compare with the indoor fire escape stair, this type of fire escape stair has the advantages of low cost, well fire protection, low management cost, high reliability and can be seen as a refuge storey of a super elevation building.
  • 2. The residents can climb the stereo terraced garden by stairs no matter day, night, rainy day or windy day.
  • 3. The garden on the top of the building can be connected to the ground. The residents can get to the roof of the building easily. So, the roof of the building can be made full use.
  • 4. Some people can use the stairs instead of elevator for the sight is good. The energy can be solved.
  • 5. The residents living on the higher floors can get the similar advantages as living on the ground. But there are not some disadvantages like: unsafe, lots of mosquito, sight interference and so on.

The building construction of the present invention can be a traditional technology. The form of the structural building can be reinforced concrete, steel or brick-masonry which has been developed perfectly for 100 years.

These and other objectives, features, and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the following detailed description, the accompanying drawings, and the appended claims.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENTS

Detailed description will be given below with reference to accompanying drawings.

In order to illustrate the principle of the present invention, the following terms are specifically defined as follows.

    • (1) Reciprocating Cycle (denoted by the number of floors): Plane positions of continuous multiple floor garden units of stereo-terraced garden having a periodically reciprocating change rule periodically reciprocating vary from bottom to top every a certain number of floors, and the certain number of floors is called “Reciprocating Cycle of reciprocating stereo-terraced garden”. If a reciprocating cycle of a stereo-terraced garden is m, positions of at least lower continuous m floor garden units are corresponding to positions of upper continuous m floor garden units in turn. If any floor number of lower continuous m floor garden units is n, a plane projecting position of nth garden unit is as same as that of the (n+m)th garden unit, that is to say, plane projecting positions of two garden units are the same every a reciprocating cycle (include partially same);
    • (2) Rising line: A continuous line connecting centers of open sides of every continuous floor garden unit in turn from bottom to top;
    • (3) Turn-back stereo-terraced garden: A stereo-terraced garden has a rising line in a vertical face and with transparent turn-back, and the turn-back is that the level trend of at least a part of the rising line is opposite to that of another part of the rising line;
    • (4) Spiral stereo-terraced garden: A stereo-terraced garden has a rising line with spiral rising.

Referring to FIGS. 2 and 3 of the drawings, a multi-floor building according to a preferred first embodiment of the present invention is illustrated, in which the multi-floor building comprises 21 floors, each floor from the 1st floor to the 21st floor comprising a floor garden unit 2. A bottom plane 16 is provided at the floor garden unit 2 respectively. The resident of each floor has the public exercise places. A bottom side of the floor garden unit 2 is a floor slab. The floor slab is a garden unit with some potted plants.

The floor garden unit 2 having the height of two or more floors is provided at the building facade and opens to the outside 7. The height of the floor garden unit 2 on the 19th, 20th, and 21st floors is more than that of two floors respectively without roof system, for there are no buildings on the top of the floors. The area of the gardens is large, and the height of the gardens is more than the height of two floors. Therefore, the gardens have good lighting, ventilation, and unobstructed views.

A plane projection of a pair of garden units 2 provided at a pair of adjacent floors is non-overlapping, a bottom space 1 of an upper floor garden unit 2 situates at a same floor with a upper space 1a of a lower floor garden unit 2 and communicates partially therewith (through a railing unit 812). The garden units 2 are a public or semi-public space. The residents can doing exercise on the garden units 2 nearby without stairs or elevator. The garden units are shared by residents of at least two floors. People at the garden position 2 can view one or two floor garden units upside and one or two floor garden unit's downside. Each floor can view at least two floor garden units of different height. Or each floor garden units can be viewed by at least two floor while people at the railing unit 83 can view two or three floor garden units downside. The space sight of each floor garden unit is rich and colorful. There needs only one floor garden unit on each floor, and two floor garden units can be viewed. So the larger space and higher space quality can be got by low cost. The array mode of the floor garden units promotes the interaction among people on different floors.

As shown in FIG. 3, the upper floor has a transition space 3 of one floor height, a part of the transition space 3 adjacent to and running through the bottom space 1 of the upper floor garden unit 2, another part of the transition space 3 adjacent to and running through the upside space 1a of the lower floor garden unit 2. The transition space 3 promotes the interaction among people on different floors.

Ten even floor garden units in a superposition state form a superposing garden arrangement 15, and a bottom plane 16 of an upper floor garden unit is a top plate 17 of an adjacent lower floor garden unit in the superposing garden arrangement 15. Furthermore, a plane projection of an upper floor garden unit overlaps entirely or partially with a plane projection of an adjacent lower floor garden unit in the superposing garden arrangement. The superposing garden arrangement is setting gardens on the relative fixed location, which is beneficial to the general overall layout. Furthermore, the heating cost is saved by the superposing garden arrangement in cold regions because there are few exposed areas of the building.

Every two of the twenty floor garden units 2 from the 2nd floor to the 21st floor communicates with each other in turn to form a stereo-terraced garden arrangement 20 (shown as the dashed line). It is worth mentioning that the superposing garden arrangement is a part of the stereo-terraced garden in the present invention, in which all floor garden units belong to the stereo-terraced garden.

An area of the floor garden unit 2 of the stereo terraced garden arrangement 20 in the first preferred embodiment is greater than or equal to 10 m2, and the floor garden unit 2 has a circular plane, a diameter of which is at least 3 meters. That is to say, at least a circular plane, a diameter of which being 3 meters, is provided within a floor garden plane 1, and the circular plane is capable of overlapping within the floor garden plane. The garden has enough space to ensure the exercise sport outdoors and can ensure appropriate distance from each people.

As shown in FIG. 3, because the height of the part 31 between the railing unit 812 and the projecting line 3a of an upper floor slab is one floor-height, the part 31 does not belong to a range of the floor garden unit 2 and the bottom space 1. A plane range of the floor garden unit 2 and the bottom space 1 thereof is a rectangle portion between the open side 8, the projecting line 3a of an adjacent upper floor slab and outside wall 11.

The bottom space 1 of the stereo-terraced garden 20 communicates with a public horizontally traffic area or an open active area 31 and a public path 3 at the same floor to form a floor public region together. The floor public region connects with public stairs 5 and elevators 6. Both the floor garden unit 2 and the bottom space 1 belong to the public places. The floor garden units 2 are connected to the stairs and elevators by the public path 3. So the residents can get to the garden easily. The resource of the garden can be used fully.

Two adjacent floor garden units 2 in height communicates with each other by the permeating horizontal public area 31 therebetween with a height of one floor, and a horizontal distance between the two adjacent floor garden units 2 is 0.44 m (and smaller than 10 m). The minor distance between the adjacent gardens is beneficial to light, view and ventilation.

The bottom space 1 of the upper floor garden unit 2 belongs to a floor which has a public path 3 connecting a upper space 1a of an adjacent lower floor garden unit and a building wall 12 by the railing unit 83 and having a height of one floor, and people at the railing unit 83 can view more floor garden units than the garden position, in such a manner that people at different floors take activities with each other conveniently. People at the garden position can view one floor garden unit downside while people at the railing unit 83 can view two or three floors garden units downside. Furthermore, the railing units 812 and 83 are capable of ventilating vertically with a lower floor garden unit.

Every four floors of the continuous multiple floor garden units 2 of the stereo-terraced garden 20 forms a period in a horizontal direction from bottom to top. That is to say, a reciprocating cycle of the turn-back stereo-terraced garden is four floors. The floor garden unit 2 has an open side 8 provided at a same building facade, namely, all floor garden units 2 are arranged at the same building facade, so as to centralize all the floor garden units on a certain scale, and be convenient for dividing areas according to functionality and making entirely use of disadvantageous orientations (e.g. westward) of the building. This regular arrangement is beneficial to the overall function layout of the building, which is beneficial to the design and construction. Furthermore, the construction cost is reduced.

The stereo-terraced garden 20 comprises at least a set of continuous three floor garden unit 2 (such as the 3rd, 4th, 5th floor garden unit), and a plane projecting position of each of the set non-overlaps with each other, having a continuously terrace-shaped at a single direction which is different from a turn-back stereo-terraced garden with a reciprocating cycle of two floors (as shown in FIG. 7). As a result, the set of continuous three floor garden unit, having a sloped-shaped and normal structure, is in favor of viewing more other floor garden units situating at the set.

The floor garden unit 2 of the stereo-terraced garden 20 is provided continuously from the ground 50 to a building top level so as to provide an outdoor activities place and a communicating place with a same area and function for people on every floor. The underside of the ground 50 is ground, soil and buildings, such as, underground garage, major shopping malls, and so on. The ground 50 can be connected to the road by other outdoor space.

The multi-floor building of the first preferred embodiment can be a building structure solely or a building unit, and a building outside wall 14 connects one building unit with another building unit or a plurality of building units connects continuously with each other to form a unit-residential building or a modular office building.

FIGS. 4, 5 and 6 illustrate a second embodiment of the present invention. The stereo-terraced garden 20 is a spiral turn-back stereo-terraced garden with a reciprocating cycle of four floors. The open side 8 of the stereo-terraced garden 20 is provided at four different sides of the building. The rising line of the stereo-terraced garden ascends spirally. Namely, the stereo-terraced garden is a spiral stereo-terraced garden, and the floor garden units thereof make sufficiently use of disadvantageous lighting positions. The garden 20 is open at four different locations. The space and lighting of the floor garden units have an abundant variation. The stereo terraced garden 20 comprises continuous multiple floor garden units 2, each of which comprising a garden ground 1, and the garden ground 1 comprises a plurality of stairs, steps and ramps adapted for connecting the upper floor garden unit with the lower floor garden unit so as to drop around conveniently between the adjacent floor garden units to facilitate the communication among residents and make sufficiently use of garden facilities. To get in and out conveniently, the stairs 5b are provided upwardly and continuously from the ground 50 to the top level of the building. For people liking sports and having living concepts, they can choose to get in and out of the stereo terraced garden 20 so as to reduce use frequencies of the elevators to save energy on the one hand. On the other hand, the above-mentioned stereo terraced garden 20 can be a simulative climbing place to promote the healthy of people. Outdoor stairs 5b always reach to a rooftop 30 in such a manner that the ground 50, the every floors and the rooftop 30 are connected from the vision and structure. Compared to other traditional stairs, the outdoor stairs 5b have a more beautiful prospect, a broader vision so as to guide people to get to the rooftop 30 to make sufficiently use thereof. The stereo terraced garden 20 can be used for evacuating stairs and taking refuge. The multi-floor building of the second embodiment can be a building structure solely, or a building unit, and a building sidewall 14 connects one building unit with another building unit or a plurality of building units connects continuously with each other so as to form a unit building to extend a length of natural path. As a result, more than one path to the rooftop 30 is accessible so as to increase the size thereof and the use. Furthermore, more fire fighting paths are provided for safety.

FIG. 7 illustrates a third embodiment of the present invention. The stereo terraced garden 20 is a turn-back stereo terraced garden with a reciprocating cycle of two floors. Compared with the previous embodiments, two adjacent floor garden units 2 in height of the stereo terraced garden 20 communicates with each other by a penetrating space—a penetrating patio 10 with a height more than two floors there between and a distance of 2.14 m (smaller than 4 m) there between, and an observation elevator 6 is provided at an end of the patio 10 between the two adjacent floor garden units. People can view the sight of the floor garden units when they are riding on an elevator. Meantime, the observation elevator is beneficial to the public order of the building.

Compared to the first preferred embodiment (as shown in FIG. 3), the bottom space 1 connects with the public path 3 by a gate in the third embodiment, and the public path 3 closes to the upper space 1a of a lower floor garden unit (location of the railing unit 83) by a transparent bar window or a curtain wall made of glass. The public path 3 is indoor space, which can provide comfortable conditions. It is suitable for a cold place and the situation that all the rooms belong to the same unit. The door of each room 4 which belongs to the same unit is open always open for contacting each other. So the public path 3 which is indoor space is beneficial to cost saving.

The stereo-terraced garden 20 comprises continuous multiple floor garden units 2, each of which comprises a garden ground 1, and the garden ground 1 comprises a plurality of stairs, steps and ramps adapted for connecting the upper floor garden unit with the lower floor garden unit so as to drop around conveniently between the adjacent floor garden units to facilitate the communication among residents and make sufficient use of garden facilities.

The stereo terraced garden 20 comprises two sets of superposing garden arrangement 15 and 25, all floor garden units belong to a set of superposing garden arrangement. Some advantages are shown that: 1. a standard floor planar structure with a simple structure can be applied; 2. little interference is occurred to rooms of every floor; 3. a requirement to waterproof, heat preservation and sound insulation of the garden ground is reduced; 4. the floor garden unit has a small volume to combine conveniently all the floor garden unit and arrange conveniently the building structure.

FIG. 8 illustrates the fourth embodiment of the present invention. The stereo-terraced garden 20 is a turn-back stereo-terraced garden with a reciprocating cycle of two floors. Compared with the previous embodiments, the open side 8 of the two adjacent floor garden units is provided at two opposite sides of the building respectively.

FIG. 9 is the fifth embodiment of the present invention. The stereo-terraced garden 20 is a turn-back stereo-terraced garden with a reciprocating cycle of two floors. Compared with the previous embodiments, the open side 8 of the two adjacent floor garden units 1 and 1a is provided at two adjacent sides of the building respectively. Furthermore, a curtain wall made of glass which has windows is provided at the open side 8 in such a manner that the floor garden unit is an indoor floor garden unit, having advantages of not only the previous open gardens but also the indoor garden, such as adjustable indoor temperature, humidity and wind speed. When the windows in the glass wall are open, the garden units constitute semi-indoor and semi-outdoor gardens.

FIG. 10 shows the sixth embodiment of the present invention. The stereo-terraced garden 20 is a turn-back stereo-terraced garden with a reciprocating cycle of two floors. Compared with the previous embodiments, an open side 8 of one of the two adjacent floor garden units and an open side 8 of the other of the two adjacent floor garden units form a concave angle in such a manner that people at the open side of the two adjacent floor garden units respectively can see each other.

FIGS. 11 and 12 illustrate the seventh embodiment of the present invention. The multi-floor building has 8 floors. A planar structure of the 3rd, 5th and 7th floors is the same, shown as an odd standard floor plan view. A planar structure of the 2nd, 4th, 6th and 8th floors is the same, shown as an even standard floor plan view. As shown in FIG. 11, the multi-floor building comprises a path 3 with a height of one floor, provided at a same position of every floor from the 2nd floor to the 8th floor, one end of the path 3 connected with the building wall 12 and the other end of the path 3 connected with two floor garden units synchronously, each of which having a height of two floors, a bottom space 1 of one of the two floor garden units communicates with the path 3 and connects with the floor ground, a upper space 1a of the other of the two floor garden units communicates with the path 3 and provides a railing unit 83, in such a manner that a path space is used sufficiently to be an observation path so as to see a plurality of floor garden units below, or make the path and the bottom space 1 of the floor garden unit 2 a whole to be an extended activities space of the floor garden unit 2. Between the two floor garden units 2, a double-running turn-back stair 5b is provided close and parallel to the path 3, the double-running turn-back stair 5b comprises a turn-back rest platform at every floor, and the floor ground 1 of the floor garden unit 2 is the turn-back rest platform.

As shown in FIG. 11, the turn-back stair 5b positions close to the path 3 in such a manner that the turn-back stair 5b is away from fire threatening area 109 so that the stairs and the rest platform avoid the damage of the fire.

A horizontal distance of the path 3 and the turn-back stair 5b is about 0.2 m and smaller than about 0.6 m.

The turn-back stair 5b is provided at the outside facade of the multi-floor building. The turn-back stair 5b opens directly to outside to be in favor of preventing fire, smoke, and self-protection to reduce crime. The floor garden unit 2 is provided at the same outside facade with the turn-back stair 5b and open to outside 7. The open side 8 of the floor garden unit 2 is flat to the outside facade of the turn-back stair 5b. As a result, an area of the floor garden unit is smaller, and the structure and appearance of the multi-floor building is simple.

The floor garden unit and the turn-back stair 5b are provided from the first floor on the ground 50 to the top floor (the 8th floor). The path 3 is provided from the 2nd floor to the top floor to evacuate the turn-back stair 5b for answering the demand of fire fighting.

As shown in a rooftop floor plan view of FIG. 12, the turn-back stair 5b is provided upwardly to the rooftop 30 in such a manner that people can be guided to the rooftop 30 along the interior of the multi-floor building so as to make sufficiently use of the rooftop 30 and as fire-escape.

Referring to FIG. 13, an 8th embodiment of the present invention is illustrated. Compared with the 7th embodiment, the 5th floor garden unit indents relatively to the 3rd floor garden unit along a vertical direction, the 7th floor garden unit indents relatively to the 5th floor garden unit along a vertical direction and the like. Similarly, the 2nd, 4th, 6th and 8th floor garden unit indents gradually along a vertical direction to enrich an architectural style, a prospective level while looking up and down at the floor garden unit. Furthermore, a part of the floor garden unit can be a terrace without a roof to close to a traditional ground garden.

A partition 114 is provided between the path 3 and the turn-back stair 5b, as shown in a first floor plan view of FIG. 13. This ensures privacy of a room with an open door 4a and reduces a fire fighting threat from the turn-back stair 5b owing to the open door 4.

FIGS. 14 to 18 show the ninth embodiment of the present invention. The multi-floor building has ten floors. The stereo-terraced garden 20 is a turn-back stereo-terraced garden with a reciprocating cycle of two floors.

Compared with the previous embodiments, three lighting and ventilating inlets 13 are provided at a facade opposite the open side 8 of the stereo-terraced garden 20 for communicating the public path 3 on every floor, and a middle one of the lighting and ventilating inlets 13 is located toward the floor garden unit 2 by the public path 3.

The floor garden units 2 of the superposing garden arrangement 15 connect with each other by the double-running turn-back stair 5b, a rest platform thereof is the floor garden unit 2 of the superposing garden arrangement 25, and a long side of the turn-back stair 5b parallels to the open side 8 of the stereo-terraced garden 20 so as to drop conveniently around between the adjacent floor garden units 2 to facility the communication among people and the use of the garden facilities.

The turn-back stair 5b is provided at the facade on which the open side 8 of the stereo-terraced garden 20 locates.

Only one bearing pole 18 is provided at a position between the two superposing garden arrangements 25 close to the turn-back stair 5b.

A girder 19 is provided on the bearing pole 18 and vertically to the long side of the step of the turn-back stair 5b from the 2nd to the 10th floor garden units.

The present embodiment is a tower-type or unit building with six families per every one ladder. The open side of the stereo-terraced garden 20 positions toward a northwestern direction. The present invention make sufficient use of a disadvantageous direction—a northwest direction of the multi-building to design a stereo-terraced garden 20 comprising a floor garden unit with a larger area, and all the units position toward the south.

FIGS. 18 and 19 illustrate a tenth embodiment of the present invention. The multi-floor building has ten floors. The stereo-terraced garden 20 is a turn-back stereo-terraced garden with a reciprocating cycle of two floors. A floor garden unit 2 is provided from the 2nd to the 9th floor.

Two enlarged garden regions 3 are provided at each of the 2nd to 9th floor, having a height of one floor, each of which is a part of the path. The plane projection of each of the two enlarged garden regions is a rectangle, as shown in dashed lines. Each of the two enlarged garden regions 3 has a long side connecting and continuously communicating the bottom space 1 of the floor garden unit 2 with the upper space 1a of the adjacent lower floor garden unit 2.

Two halls 19 are provided at each of the 2nd to 9th floor, each of which communicates with the floor garden unit 2 by enlarged garden regions 3. Each room 4 of the 2nd to 9th floor communicates from enlarged garden regions 3 to the floor garden unit 2 by the halls 19. Each door of the every room 4 doesn't open directly to the floor garden unit 2 and the enlarged garden regions 3 so as to ensure a privacy of every room 4, reduce interferences from the stereo-terraced garden 20, and increase fire fighting capability of the turn-back stair 5b.

A fire door 118 is provided between each of the halls 19 and each of the enlarged garden regions 3 so as to evacuate conveniently the turn-back stair 5b of the stereo-terraced garden 20 and further reduce interferences from the floor garden unit 2 to ensure a better privacy of every room 4.

Two elevators are provided at each of the 2nd to the 9th floor (as shown in FIG. 19), each of which is located at the halls 19, a door of each of the elevators is designed in a wall 21 of the halls 19, so as to further increase the evacuating function of the turn-back stair 5b, ensure the privacy of the every room 4, and use conveniently the elevators, compared to a traditional technology.

Only two halls 19 are provided at each of the 2nd to the 9th floor (as shown in FIG. 19), each of which naturally lights by a semi-closed ventilating well 213. An elevator is provided at each of the two halls in such a manner that each of the halls 19 is adapted for an elevator hall or an elevator room so that the stereo-terraced garden 20 is a half stair for preventing smoke to increase fire prevention.

The stereo-terraced garden 20 comprises a waterfall pool 9 provided at the bottom space 1 of the floor garden unit 2, adapted for receiving a waterfall 9a from an upper floor garden unit. The water in the waterfall pool 9 gets together to form again a fall by an edge 812 of the floor slab to flow to the bottom space 1 of a lower floor garden unit 2. The waterfall 9a can produce a natural sound of the water and to adjust effectively the temperature and humidity of every floor, plant hydrophilic plants, and provide an environment and prospect place adjacent to the nature to answer the demand of people living in a multi-floor building.

The following additional explanations are given about the floor garden unit:

    • (1) The height of the floor garden unit is more than two floors; this means the height between the roof to ground of the garden unit. The floor garden unit can generally be a garden unit with a roof. As the floor garden unit is disposed at the top of a building, since no roof exists, at this time the height of the floor garden unit is greater than that of a building with two or more floors. The term “height of two floors” is to explain concisely the height of two building floors. When a floor elevation of the floor garden unit keeps 0.90 m up and down of the nth floor of a building, and a top elevation of the floor garden unit keeps 0.90 m up and down of the n+2th floor of the building, the height of the floor garden unit is two floors.
    • (2) A plane range of the floor garden unit is an area measured from the floor slab, with a space height of two floors or more than two floors, that is to say, the area is a projecting range of a penetrating garden space projecting on the garden ground with “a height of two floors” or “a height of more than two floors”, and the stairs connecting the adjacent floor garden units do not belong to the plane range of the floor garden unit.
    • (3) An open side of the floor garden unit can be open partially.
    • (4) Spaces of the floor garden unit are penetrating.
    • (5) There is a difference between the floor garden unit and the path. The path is relatively narrow, and mainly about the same width with stairs. The path is used for traffic and evacuation. The floor garden unit has a larger area than stairs for providing conveniently tables and chairs, fitness apparatus, activity facilities, and so on.
    • (6) A horizontal distance between the adjacent two floor garden units is smaller than about 15 m. All floor garden units of the stereo-terraced garden 20 above the tower belong to a same tower.
    • (7) The floor garden unit is called “a garden” for understanding conveniently, a simple bottom structure of which can be a floor slab connected with other structure for taking activities.

Running through means that the floor garden unit communicates directly with each other directly or communicates by a third space line, or sight and space running through formed by an open fan provided at a curtain wall or a window made of glass.

A public activity place is a place partially connected with a public path of every floor, also is a shared place by two or more units (such as families, companies and guest rooms).

In the paragraph of “the two adjacent floor garden units in height of the stereo terraced garden connect with each other by a penetrating space there between with a height of two or more floors, a distance between the two adjacent floor garden units being smaller than 4 m, or connect with each other by a penetrating horizontally public area there between with a height of one to two floors, a distance between the two adjacent floor garden units being smaller than 10 m”, the penetrating space and the horizontally public area has at least a side open to one of the two adjacent floor garden units or open to the two adjacent floor garden units synchronously. The horizontally public area is an area with a horizontal bottom structure, which is different from the stairs, steps and ramps.

An open side of the floor garden unit is a partial facade open to outside at a facade.

The multi-floor building is a building having at least four floors, including high-rise buildings and super high-rise buildings.

Connection and running through means that the two spaces adjacent to each other and open to each other or a penetrating space or sight formed by the railing units, windows, doors and other building units which can be open or throughout. The two spaces can run through one another or people can meet with each other or not.

Communication means that the two spaces close directly to each other and people can meet with each other, or the two spaces connect with each other by other spaces and people can meet with each other.

Rooms of the floors on which the floor garden unit is provided don't comprise an elevator shaft and a device shaft.

The building unit is a building part sharing a same set of vertical traffic system in a building. Only one building unit is called a point block. Now the sidewalls of a plurality of building units join together to form a residential building, called an apartment building. The residential building has several advantages of low cost, land conservation and convenient fire fighting.

This invention is not to be limited to the specific embodiments disclosed herein and modifications for various applications and other embodiments are intended to be included within the scope of the appended claims. While this invention has been described in connection with particular examples thereof, the true scope of the invention should not be so limited since other modifications will become apparent to the skilled practitioner upon a study of the drawings, specification, and following claims.

Claims

1. A multi-floor building having at least four floors, said multi-floor building comprising a floor garden unit located on every floor of all floors or every floor of continuous multiple floors and comprising a bottom plate on every said floor; wherein

said floor garden unit, located at a building facade, has the height of two or more floors and is open to outside;
a plane projection of two adjacent floor garden units is non-overlapping, a bottom space of an upper floor garden unit and a upper space of an adjacent lower floor garden unit are at a same floor and run through;
said upper floor has a transition space of one floor-height, a part of said transition space adjacent to and running through said bottom space of the upper floor garden unit, another part of said transition space adjacent to and running through said upside space of the lower floor garden unit;
at least two of floor garden units are in a superposed state to form a set of superposing garden arrangement, said bottom plate of said upper floor garden unit is a roof plate of said adjacent lower floor garden unit in said set of superposing garden arrangement; and
every two of said floor garden units run through each other in turn to form a stereo-terraced garden.

2. The multi-floor building of claim 1, wherein said floor garden units are located on every floor of at least four continuous floors; and said floor garden unit comprise a bottom plate on every said floor.

3. The multi-floor building of claim 1, wherein said floor, at which said upper floor garden unit of said stereo-terraced garden is provided, has a horizontal public traffic area or an open activity area having a height of one floor; and one side of said horizontal public traffic area or said open activity area connects with said upper space of said adjacent lower floor garden unit, and an opposite side of said floor connects with the building wall.

4. The multi-floor building of claim 1, wherein planar positions of said continuous multiple floor garden units of said stereo-terraced garden vary alternately and periodically from bottom to top with a period of two or more floors.

5. The multi-floor building of claim 1, wherein said stereo-terraced garden comprises a set of floor garden units, each of which is located on three continuous floors respectively; and a plane projection of each of said set of floor garden units is apart from each other.

6. The multi-floor building of claim 1, wherein an open side of one of said two adjacent floor garden units of said stereo-terraced garden is located on a building facade, and an open side of another of said two adjacent floor garden units is provided at said building facade or an adjacent building facade.

7. The multi-floor building of claim 1, wherein said stereo-terraced garden comprises continuous multiple floor garden units, a ground of each of said floor garden units are connected to said upper floor garden unit with a plurality of stairs, steps or ramps.

8. The multi-floor building of claim 1, wherein said stereo-terraced garden comprises a plurality of sets of superposing garden arrangement, and an elevator is provided between two adjacent sets.

9. The multi-floor building of claim 1, wherein said floor garden unit of said stereo-terraced garden communicates with a horizontal public traffic area or an open activity area at a same floor respectively to form a floor public area; said floor public area connects with a public stair or elevator; and said floor garden unit belongs entirely or partially to a public activity area.

10. The multi-floor building of claim 1, wherein said two floor garden units of said stereo-terraced garden, which are adjacent in height, connect with each other by a penetrating space therebetween with a height of two or more floors, a distance between said two adjacent floor garden units is smaller than 4 m, or connect with each other by a penetrating horizontal public area therebetween having a height of one to two floors, and a distance between said two adjacent floor garden units is smaller than 10 m.

11. The multi-floor building of claim 1, wherein said floor garden unit of every floor of said set of superposing garden arrangement indents gradually.

12. The multi-floor building of claim 1, wherein an area of said floor garden unit of said stereo-terraced garden is greater than or equal to 10 m2, and said floor garden unit covers a circular area with a diameter of at least 3 m.

13. The multi-floor building of claim 1, wherein a horizontal distance between said two adjacent floor garden units of said stereo-terraced garden is smaller than 2 m.

14. The multi-floor building of claim 7, wherein

said multi-floor building further comprising at least an enlarged garden area having a height of one floor;
said enlarged garden area is located on said floor at which said floor garden unit is provided,
said enlarged garden area has at least a whole side connected with and continuously running through said upper space of said floor garden unit or adjacent lower floor garden unit;
at least a hall is provided at said floor on which said floor garden unit is located;
a room gate is provided at a wall of said hall;
said hall communicates with said floor garden unit by said enlarged garden area; and
the rooms of said floor at which said floor garden units is provided (besides said elevator and tube well) communicates with said enlarged area and said floor garden unit by said hall.

15. The multi-floor building of claim 1, wherein

said floor garden unit belongs alternately to said two sets of superposing garden arrangement from bottom to top respectively; and
said open side of each of said two sets of superposing garden arrangement being provided at a same building facade;

16. The multi-floor building of claim 15, wherein

said stereo-terraced garden comprises a public traffic area with a height of one floor at a same position of every one of at least continuous three floors;
one side of said public traffic area connects with said building wall, and another side of said public traffic area connects with said two floor garden units synchronously;
said bottom space of one of said two floor garden units runs through said public traffic area and a floor ground is connected with each other, and said upper space of the other of said two floor garden units runs through said public traffic area and has a railing unit therebetween; and
a building facade opposite to said open side of said stereo-terraced garden has a ventilating and light outlet for connected with said public traffic area.

17. The multi-floor building of claim 15, wherein said floor garden unit of said set of superposing garden arrangement of said stereo-terraced garden connects with each other by said double-running turn-back stair; said rest platform thereof is said floor garden unit of another set of superposing garden arrangement; and said turn-back stair is provided at said building facade on which said open side of said stereo-terraced garden is located.

18. The multi-floor building of claim 17, wherein a long side of said turn-back stair is parallel to said open side of said stereo-terraced garden.

19. The multi-floor building of claim 15, wherein said multi-floor building further comprises: one bearing pole provided between said two sets of superposing garden arrangement and adjacent to said turn-back stair; and a girder provided at said bottom plate of said floor garden unit besides the ground and supported by said bearing pole and vertical to a long side of said turn-back stair.

20. A multi-floor building having at least four floors, said multi-floor building comprising a floor garden unit located on every floor of all floors or every floor of continuous multiple floors and comprising a bottom plate on said every floor; wherein

said floor garden unit located at a building facade has a height of two or more floors and is open to outside;
a plane projection of two adjacent floor garden units is non-overlapping, a bottom space of an upper floor garden unit and a upper space of an adjacent lower floor garden unit are at a same floor and run through;
a ground of said lower floor garden unit is connected to a ground of said upper floor garden unit with a plurality of stairs, steps or ramps;
at least two of floor garden units are in a superposed state to form a set of superposing garden arrangement, said bottom plate of said upper floor garden unit is a roof plate of said adjacent lower floor garden unit in said set of superposing garden arrangement; and
every two of said floor garden units run through each other in turn to form a stereo-terraced garden.

21. A multi-floor building having at least four floors, said multi-floor building comprising a floor garden unit located on every floor of all floors or every floor of continuous multiple floors and comprising a bottom plate on said every floor; wherein,

said floor garden unit, located at a building facade, has a height of two or more floors and is open to outside with an open side, said open side has a glass curtain wall;
a plane projection of two adjacent floor garden units is non-overlapping, a bottom space of an upper floor garden unit and a upper space of an adjacent lower floor garden unit are at a same floor and run through;
at least two of floor garden units are in a superposed state to form a set of superposing garden arrangement, said bottom plate of said upper floor garden unit is a roof plate of said adjacent lower floor garden unit in said set of superposing garden arrangement; and
every two of said floor garden units run through each other in turn to form a stereo-terraced garden.
