Thermo cooled-gel sensor shelled-facial mask and vest

The art of boxing has become stagnated. On a professional level the protection of the boxers is not even considered about from calls made by referees. My invention will give boxers state of the art equipment that will help reduce short term injuries and help prevent long term damage. Moreover, fairness of actual contests will be addresses with its advanced sensor scoring mechanism.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

This invention pertains to the sport of boxing. Boxing as we know it today is considered a troubled and corrupt sport and has not had consistent success compared to other major sports in the USA, or the World. Tantamount to that failure has been injures with immediate impact, i.e., broken noses, retinue damage, and death; as well as, long term depilatory impart such as brain damage and slurred speech. Protective gear has not changed much in years. This invention will offer more advanced protection in preparation for matches as well as the matches themselves.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

This invention improves upon masks that are presently used in boxing and mixed martial arts. The first advantage is the protective qualities of the mask and vest. The mask in particular provides protection to the total face from cuts. Secondly, the mask provides protection to the head by using the protective partial shells. Finally, the cold gel layer helps to prevent swelling of the brain eyes, etc. Moreover, the sensors will provide accurate scoring of matches. The protective mask and vest will consist of layers of innovative protection designed to reduce punch impact force with the use of segmented shells. Also, the use of a thermo gel facial layer that can be refrigerated and inserted into the mask which serve a dual purpose of impact reduction and swelling prevention/reduction. First of all, pro boxing doesn't even use headgear! More importantly, neither amateur nor pro uses a protective vest in matches. The advantage of the mask and vest will aid in reducing injuries and by using electronic sensors to calculate points matches will be more accurately scored.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

  • 1. The TCGSS-Facial Mask is innovative head gear that looks like one mask when worn, FIG. 1; FIG. 1.A; FIG. 1.B but is actually comprised of three parts
  • 2. The Sensor Layer will be embedded beneath the skin of a fire resistant outer shell that will complete the mask. The sensors will be used electronically register points for legitimate punches and deduct points for illegitimate punches that result in faults. FIG. 2; FIG. 2.A; FIG. 2.B
  • 3. The Shell Plates Layer will consist of large and smaller nuzzle like pieces which will lessen the impact of punches but will maintain its mask appearance so that boxers are not wearing helmets but will be similarly protected. Moreover, the back of each shell and spaces between smaller shells will have a web like spring material. FIG. 3; FIG. 3.A; FIG. 3.B
  • 4. The Thermo Cold Gel Layer will be a cool able insertable layer capable of maintaining its pliability at near freezing temperatures. During fights this gel insert can be taken out of the head gear placed in a refrigerator and replaced by a cooler one thus keeping the fighter more refreshed and placing near ice like temperature against places where he/she has been punched; thereby reducing the effects of punches, heat, and exhaustion. FIG. 4; FIG. 4.A; FIG. 4.B
  • 5. The TCGSS-Vest will be made of the same materials except for the thermo cold gel. The protective shells will be used sparingly. However, such areas as rib cage, solar flex, and female chest area will be protected. Nonetheless, if the thermo cool gel proves to be of value in certain areas of the torso it will be used the same way as in the facial mask. FIG. 5; FIG. 5.A; FIG. 5.B
  • 6. The Vest Sensor Layer will function (#2 above) the same as the mask sensor layer. FIG. 6; FIG. 6.A; FIG. 6.B
  • 7. The Shell Plate Layer will function (#3 above) the same as the mask Shell Plate layer. FIG. 7; FIG. 7.A; FIG. 7.B

Claims
