HAIR HOOP

Abstract

A hair hoop includes a plurality of bodies having their opposite ends respectively and pivotally combined together by a support shaft. Thus, with the support shafts acting as fulcrums, each body can freely be turned and moved to different locations of a person's hair for completely tidily binding the hair stably together, able to keep the hair orderly and serve as ornaments.

CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS

This application claims the priority benefits of Taiwan application No. 097201043 filed on Jan. 17, 2008, the contents of which are hereby incorporated by reference in its entirety.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

This invention relates to a hair hoop, particularly to one composed of a plurality of bodies having their opposite ends respectively and pivotally combined together by a support shaft to enable each body of the hair hoop to be freely turned and adjusted in position so that each body of the hair hoop can be properly moved to different locations of a person's hair for orderly fixing the hair.

2. Description of the Prior Art

A first conventional hair hoop combined with eyeglasses, disclosed in a Taiwan patent No. 326269, includes a glasses frame, two temples and a combined hair hoop. The glasses frame has the inner side of its upper edge formed with a recessed holding edge, and the two temples respectively assembled at the opposite ends of the glasses frame have the inner sides of their front portion respectively provided with a holding edge having its end bored with a transverse insert hole. The combined hair hoop is combined in advance and then entirely assembled on the holding edges of the glasses frame and the two temples.

The first conventional hair hoop is combined together with the eyeglasses so that when a user has the eyeglasses on, he can wear the hair hoop at the same time for fixing the hair, different from the hair hoop of this invention, which is composed of plural bodies respectively able to be freely moved for orderly fixing different portions of a person's hair.

A second conventional hair hoop, disclosed in a Taiwan patent No. 371858, titled “IMPROVEMENT ON HAIR HOOP (3)”, includes a main body and a decorative plate. The main body is bored with a lengthwise through hole having its opposite ends respectively provided with an insert member transversely fixed thereon with a hooking plate. The decorative plate has its opposite ends respectively extended and formed with an inverted hooked member and its underside disposed with a projecting engage bar. Thus, after the decorative plate is overlapped on the main body, the opposite ends of the decorative plate are respectively inserted through the through hole of the main body, with their hooked members respectively clasped on the lower edge of the hooking plate of the main body, and the engage bar of decorative plate is engaged in the through hole for stably assembling the decorative plate on the main body.

The second conventional hair hoop is provided with the decorative plate combined with the main body for adorning the main body and making the hair hoop changeable in shape. However, the second conventional hair hoop is different in structure from the hair hoop of this invention, which is provided with plural bodies that can be respectively and freely adjusted in position for orderly fixing a person's hair.

A third conventional hair hoop, disclosed in a Taiwan patent No. 472539, titled “HAIR HOOP OUTCOVER COMBINATION STRUCTURE”, includes a body cut with a lengthwise clamping slot having the outer side of its opposite ends respectively provided with two side holding members, and a plurality of retaining rings are disposed between the two side holding members. A decorative outer cover made of elastic and contractible strip has one end inserted through the holding members at one side and through the retaining rings and two opposite ends respectively secured with the opposite two side holding members.

The third conventional hair hoop has the opposite ends of its main body provided with the holding members for setting the retaining rings thereon, but such a design is different from the hair hoop of this invention, which is disposed with plural bodies respectively able to be freely adjusted in position for orderly fixing different portions of a person's hair.

Further, a fourth conventional hair hoop, disclosed in a Taiwan patent No. M312225, titled “IMPROVEMENT ON HAIR HOOP STRUCTURE”, includes a main body having its inner edge disposed with a plurality of continuous teeth and its outer surface formed with various streaks. When the hair hoop is worn on a person's head, the teeth of the hair hoop can tightly grip the hair to let the hair hoop firmly attached on the hair for orderly arranging and fixing the hair. The hair hoop has its opposite ends respectively bored with an insert hole for an elastic cord to be inserted therein. When the hair hoop in worn, the elastic cord can bound around a person's head for preventing the hair hoop from falling off, or around a person's neck for hanging the hair hoop thereon during rest time.

However, the fourth conventional hair hoop designed in a way mentioned above is also different in structure from the hair hoop of this invention, which is provided with plural main bodies that can be respectively adjusted and moved to different locations of a person's hair for orderly fixing the hair.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The objective of this invention is to offer a hair hoop composed of plural bodies each of which can be independently turned and moved to different locations of a person's hair for tidily binding the hair stably together, able to keep the hair orderly and also to have decorative effect.

The feature of the hair hoop in the present invention is that plural bodies have their ends pivotally combined together by support shafts, which serve as fulcrums to enable the main bodies to be respectively turned freely and adjusted in position for completely binding a person's hair at different locations. In addition, the bodies of the hair hoop of this invention can be freely changed in external appearances and shapes to serve as ornaments.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

A first preferred embodiment of a hair hoop in the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, includes two or more bodies 1 combined together. The bodies 1 have their opposite ends 10 respectively bored with an insert hole 11 for a support shaft 2 to be pivotally inserted therethrough to combine all the bodies 1 together. Thus, with the support shaft acting as fulcrums, each body 1 can freely be adjusted in position. In addition, the bodies 1 are different from each other in external appearance or in shape, as shown in FIGS. 1, 3, 6, 7, 8 and 9, or of a same external appearance or shape, as shown in FIGS. 5, 10 and 11, that is to say, the external appearance and shape of each body 1 of the hair hoop in the present invention can be designed differently. By so designing, with the support shafts 2 acting as turning fulcrums, the bodies 1 can be turned freely and moved to different locations for orderly fixing a person's hair at the same time, able to keep the hair orderly and also to have decorative effect.

A second preferred embodiment of a hair hoop in the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, includes two or more main bodies 1, and one of the bodies 1 has the opposite ends 10 respectively secured with a support shaft 2A and the other has its opposite ends 10 respectively bored with an insert hole 11. The support shafts 2A at the opposite ends of the first body 1 are respectively inserted through the insert holes 11 at the ends of the second body 1 and then fixed therein for pivotally combining all the bodies 1 together, and thus the support shafts 2A can serve as fulcrums for adjusting the locations of the bodies 1. The bodies 1 of the hair hoop of the second preferred embodiment has the same structural characteristic as those described in the first preferred embodiment, and the bodies 1 of the hair hoop of the second preferred embodiment can also be formed into different external looks or shapes, as shown in FIGS. 1, 3, 6, 7, 8 and 9, or can be of a same external appearance or shape, as shown in FIGS. 5, 10 and 11. With the support shafts 2A acting as fulcrums, each body 1 of the hair hoop can be freely turned and moved to different locations of a person's hair for orderly binding the hair stably together, able to keep the hair tidy and also to have excellent decorative effect.

To sum up, the hair hoop in the present invention is made of plural bodies that can be respectively and freely turned and moved to different locations of a person's hair for tidily binding the hair stably together, and each body is formed with an independent shape and external appearance for achieving decorative effect.

While the preferred embodiments of the invention have been described above, it will be recognized and understood that various modifications may be made therein and the appended claims are intended to cover all such modifications that may fall within the spirit and scope of the invention.

Claims

1. A hair hoop comprising:

a plurality of bodies having their opposite ends respectively bored with an insert hole, said insert hole inserted therethrough with a support shaft, said support shaft pivotally combining said bodies together and acting as a fulcrum for enabling each said body to be turned and adjusted in position.

2. The hair hoop as claimed in claim 1, wherein said hair hoop is provided with two or more said bodies.

3. The hair hoop as claimed in claim 1, wherein said bodies are different from each other in external appearance or in shape.

4. The hair hoop as claimed in claim 1, therein each said body is of a same external appearance or shape.

5. The hair hoop as claimed in claim 1, wherein said support shaft is integrally formed with one of said bodies.
