Lift apparatus for toilet seat

Lift apparatus for toilet seat consists of a stand that can be fixed onto the top of toilet, a set of leverage levers and a J-shaped hook. Lift apparatus for toilet seat is installed on the top of a toilet for lifting toilet seat. Man can step on lever to elevate toilet seat when he urinates to prevent toilet seat from getting wet.

THE BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Man has to lift toilet seat with hand before urination to prevent toilet seat from getting wet. Man also has to use hand to lower toilet seat. The present invented lift apparatus for toilet seat can lift toilet seat by foot and lower toilet seat by foot.

THE BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Lift apparatus for toilet seat consists of a stand and a couple of connected levers to raise toilet seat. Man steps downward lever of lift apparatus for toilet seat to lift toilet seat and lowers toilet seat by gradually releasing stepping force of his foot.

THE DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of lift apparatus for toilet seat.

FIG. 2 is a perspective view of parts of lift apparatus for toilet seat.

FIG. 3 is a perspective view of a toilet and an installed lift apparatus for toilet seat in closure status.

FIG. 4 is a perspective view of a toilet and an installed lift apparatus for toilet seat in open status.

THE DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Referring now in detail to the drawings numeral 10 is a lift apparatus for toilet seat. Numeral 11 of FIGS. 1 and 2 is a stand of lift apparatus for toilet seat 10. Stand 11 of FIGS. 1 and 2 consists of a main stand 12 and a couple of screws 13.

Screw 13 screws through hole 14 of main stand 11 to go underneath the lower edge 15 of top side 16 of toilet 17 to fix main stand 11. Top plate 18 of main stand 11 is placed on the top 19 of toilet 17 close to the rear end 20 of toilet seat 21. After stand 11 is placed on top 19 of toilet 17 bolt 13 screws into threaded holes 14 and moves under lower edge 15 of top side 16 of toilet 17 to fix main stand 11 onto toilet 17. Numeral 22 of FIGS. 1, 2, 3 and 4 is a U-shaped lever that is fastened loosely onto main stand 11 by pivotal bolt 23 and nut 24. After pivotal bolt 23 of FIG. 2 passes through hole 25 of U-shaped lever 22 and pivotal hole 26 of main stand 11 a nut 24 of FIGS. 1, 2, 3 and 4 screws onto pivotal bolt 23 to fasten loosely U-shaped lever 22 onto main stand 11. Numeral 27 of FIGS. 1, 2, 3 and 4 is lift-lever. Lift-lever 27 is fastened loosely onto U-shaped lever 22 by fastener 28. Numeral 29 of FIGS. 1 and 2 is lift-bar that is fastened onto lift-lever 27 at each end 30 by fastener 31. Numeral 32 of FIGS. 1, 2, 3 and 4 is a J-shaped hook that encloses loosely the middle portion 33 of lift-bar 29 at one end 34 and catches the rear end 20 of toilet seat 21 at the other end 36. Numeral 35 of FIGS. 3 and 4 is pivot of toilet seat 21. Pivotal bolt 23 is the pivot of lift apparatus for toilet seat 10. After lift apparatus for toilet seat 11 is installed onto toilet 17 as illustrated in FIGS. 3 and 4 man can step gradually downward the U-shaped lever 22 with his foot to lift lift-lever 27, lift-bar 29 and toilet seat 21 and in reverse order man can raise gradually his foot to let U-shaped lever 22 move upward to lower toilet seat 21. Numeral 37 of FIGS. 3 and 4 is toilet water tank.

Claims

1. Lift apparatus for toilet seat comprising a stand, a set of levers and a hook.

2. The said stand in claim 1 comprising a reverse U-shaped plate that has a top plate and two side plates. Wherein the said top plate is placed on the top of a toilet close to the rear end of toilet seat. The said two side plates has two holes at each side of midway to be screwed with two bolts to fix the said stand in claim 1 to toilet and a pivot-hole at the front lower corner to fasten loosely the said a set of levers in claim 1.

3. The said levers in claim 1 comprising a long U-shaped stepping lever, two short lift-levers, a lift-bar and a hook. Wherein the said long U-shaped stepping lever is fastened loosely to the said pivot-hole of the said two side plates in claim 2 with pivot-bolt at approximately its upper ¼ portion and fastens loosely the said lift-lever at its upper end with bolt.

Wherein the said lift-bar is fastened to the said lift-lever at both ends and has a hook in claim 1 at its middle portion.

4. The said hook in claim 1 and 3 is a J-shaped hook that encloses loosely the said lift-bar in claim 3 at one end and catches the rear end of toilet seat at another end. Wherein the said hook can be a J-shaped wire hook or a J-shaped plate hook.
