WATER AND SOIL CONSERVATION METHOD AND A RETAINING WALL FOR PERFORMING THE SAME
A retaining wall for water and soil conservation use a plurality of stacking retaining plates. Each of the retaining plate has a plurality of inner protrusions at an inner side thereof. The protrusions of the lower retaining plate of the stacking retaining plates grab the soil at the bottom of the slopeland so as to form a steady retaining structure. The method for performing the water and soil conservation by the wall is also disclosed.
The present invention relates to a water and soil conservation method and a retaining wall for performing the same, and in particular to a conservation method and arrangement of protection against the soil and rocks of a slopeland.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PRIOR ARTThere are a lot of mountain areas but few plain areas in Taiwan. Debris flows happen during heavy rainfall in the mountain area. Because of heights of the mountains and short of rivers, soil and rocks need forest and plant to keep moisture and be retained by. Soil and water conservation is now an important issue after damages and disasters caused by debris flow and deforming of slopeland.
To prevent the disaster mentioned above, a lot of actions are needed to be carried out in the same time. For example, encouragement to planting and prohibition against hewing and reclaiming is an important fundamental of soil and water conservation. For preventing an instant and accidental disaster, protection to slopeland retaining wall is needed to prevent debris flow invading roads or residential areas. Retaining walls are arranged along mountain roads to passively block the soil and rocks of the unstable slopeland.
Furthermore, in a prior technique of blocking soil and rocks, it is performed by constructing retaining wall as a barrier to prevent collapse at a mid-slope or a foot of a mountain and the area near a steep slope. However, the prior retaining wall is a plate of wall inserted into a slopeland. The plate structure is simple, weak, and lack of adhesion to the land. When a heavy rainfall comes, the walls are sometimes toppled and collapse with the soil and rocks.
SUMMARY OF THE PRESENT INVENTIONAccordingly, the inventor intends to provide an improved method and structure basis on the motive of research.
To solve the problem mentioned above, a conservation method and a retaining wall are invented for the purpose of conserving water and soil. A plurality of retaining plates are stacking together. Each of the retaining plate has a plurality of inner protrusions at an inner side thereof. The protrusions of the lower retaining plate of the stacking retaining plates grab the soil at the bottom of the slopeland so as to form a steady retaining structure and method.
In order that those skilled in the art can further understand the present invention, a description will be provided in the following in details. However, these descriptions and the appended drawings are only used to cause those skilled in the art to understand the objects, features, and characteristics of the present invention, but not to be used to confine the scope and spirit of the present invention defined in the appended claims.

The outer protrusion 113 of the present invention can be made of a soft material. For example, a part of waste tire is inserted into the concrete during the forming process of the retaining plate 11 and the waste tire will be fixed to the retaining plate 11 when the concrete is solidified.
As shown in the drawings, the inner protrusion 112 or the outer protrusion 113 is formed with a hole 114 at a center thereof. Claims
1. A water and soil conservation method by using a plurality of stacking retaining plates each of which has a plurality of inner protrusion; wherein the protrusions of the lower retaining plate of the stacking retaining plates grab soil at a bottom of the slopeland.
2. The water and soil conservation method as claimed in claim 1, wherein each retaining plate has outer protrusions at an outer side thereof.
3. The water and soil conservation method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the inner protrusion is made of a soft material.
4. The water and soil conservation method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the outer protrusion is made of a soft material.
5. The water and soil conservation method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the retaining plate has a water spout.
6. The water and soil conservation method as claimed in claim 1, wherein each of the four corners of the retaining plate has a notch; as multiple retaining plates are combined together, the notches of the retaining plates will combine together and form as a water spout.
7. The water and soil conservation method as claimed in claim 1, wherein each inner protrusion of the retaining plate has a hole for being inserted by a pillar so as to form with a strong retaining structure against the slopeland.
8. A retaining wall for water and soil conservation comprising:
- a retaining plate having a plurality of inner protrusions at an inner side thereof.
9. The retaining wall for water and soil conservation as claimed in claim 8, wherein each of the retaining plate has outer protrusions at an outer side thereof.
10. The retaining wall for water and soil conservation as claimed in claim 8, wherein the inner protrusion is made of soft material.
11. The retaining wall for water and soil conservation as claimed in claim 9, wherein the outer protrusion is made of soft material.
12. The retaining wall for water and soil conservation as claimed in claim 8, wherein the retaining plate has water spout.
13. The retaining wall for water and soil conservation as claimed in claim 8, wherein each of four corners of the retaining plate has a notch.
14. The retaining wall for water and soil conservation as claimed in claim 8, wherein the inner protrusion of the retaining plate has a hole.
