Description
1. FIELD OF THE INVENTION

This invention relates to the field of footwear.

A number of U.S. Pat. Nos. 4,439,935: and 2,388,744 have employed various shoe constructions, but these aforementioned patents are non-applicable to my present invention.

The object of this invention is to create a separate upper portion and separate sole that could be coupled, to allow wearers the opportunity to change the sole or upper portions to suite their style or outfit.

This is made possible by the hook and loop fastener that is affixed to the total surface area of the sole or footwear bottom. The hook and loop fastener is also affixed to the total surface area underneath the upper foot grip straps, vamp or a full shoe upper portion already attached to a soft pad insole to complement the fastener.

Other patents have employed similar technique but do not make provision for changing the upper portion all together with the sole.

DIAGRAM

FIG. 1 illustrates the upper portion of the footwear. This is not limited to the grip straps only. The grip strap is readily attached to the soft pad insole to construct a separate upper portion.

FIG. 2 illustrates the underside of FIG. 1 underneath the flat surface with its total surface area covered with hook or loop fastener to complement the surface of the sole.

FIG. 3 exemplifies the upper portion of the total surface area of the sole bottom covered with the hook or loop fastener to complement the underneath of the upper portion in FIG. 2

FIG. 4 depicts the full image of the footwear with the short dashes indicating the point of connection of the hook and loop fastener underneath the upper portion and on the total surface area of the sole.

FIG. 5 depicts the connection between the upper portion and the lower portion for better clearification.
