The music producing unit 23 further includes a spring motor 234 for driving rotation of the cylinder 232. The spring motor 234 has a spring axle 235 that extends through the base 231, outwardly of the accommodating space 216 of the case 21, and through the through hole 114 in the bag wall 100 of the bag body 11. The music producing unit 23 further includes a knob 236 that is disposed outwardly of the bag body 11 and that is removably coupled to one end of the spring axle 235 for driving rotation of the spring axle 235 to wind the spring motor 234.

The first and second wall portions 217, 218 of the connecting wall 215 of the case 21 are disposed to extend along an outer periphery of the base 231. The outer periphery of the base 231 forms a clearance, d, ranging from 0.01 cm to 0.1 cm with the first and second wall portions 217, 218 of the connecting wall 215 of the case 21. The clearance, d, is limited to this range such that the volume of the mechanical music device 2 can be effectively reduced.

Referring to FIGS. 2, 3, 5, and 6, prior to assembling, the knob 236 is not locked on the spring axle 235 of the spring motor 234. During assembling, the second mounting component 22, which is connected to the case 21, is inserted into the first mounting component 12. Left and right sides of the mounting wall 221 of the second mounting component 22 are extended into the first insert grooves 120, and the two first retaining portions 124 of the first mounting component 12 are extended into the second insert grooves 220. At this time, the case 21 and the bag body 11 are assembled. The spring axle 235 corresponds to the through hole 114, and is exposed from the outer surface of the bag body 11. Then, the knob 236 is locked at one end of the spring axle 235 of the spring motor 234. Due to the exposure of the knob 236 from the bag body 11, it is convenient for a user to wind the mechanical music device 2 to produce music. The music can be heard via the sound port 210 of the case 21 and the sound hole 117 of the bag wall 100 of the bag body 11.

When the bag 1 is in use, the user can wind the spring motor 234 to drive the music producing unit 23 for producing music, without using any battery.

It is noted that the first and second mounting components 12, 22 can be interchanged with each other as long as both of them can be interconnected removably. In addition, the first and second mounting components 12, 22 are easily assembled and disassembled since all it takes is to pull up or push down the second mounting component 22 relative to the first mounting component 12. In this embodiment, the sound port 210 has a relatively large area, which corresponds to a rectangular space located above the second case wall 214 and the second mounting component 22. However, in practice, the actual configuration of the sound port 210 is not limited thereto. As long as the sound port 210 corresponds in position to the sound hole 117 of the bag body 11 and the cylinder 232 and the comb 233 of the music producing unit 23, it falls within the scope sought for the present invention.

Another characteristic of the present invention is that a user can collect music producing units 23 having various music for playing different kinds of music. In addition, by making use of the first mounting component 12 disposed in the receiving space 10 and the second mounting component 22 disposed on the case 21, the mechanical music device 2 can be assembled removably in the receiving space 10 defined by the bag body 11. Thus, the mechanical music device 2 is portable. With the design of the connecting wall 215 of the case 21 having an inner periphery closely adjacent to the outer periphery of the base 231 of the music producing unit 23, the comb 233 is able to output a larger volume of music directly through the corresponding sound port 210 and the sound hole 117, without any obstacle. Furthermore, the size of the case 21 is small such that the mechanical music device 2 does not occupy much space in the bag 1.

Referring to FIG. 7, a second preferred embodiment of a bag 1 of the present invention is shown to be similar to the first preferred embodiment. The second preferred embodiment differs from the first preferred embodiment in the following aspects. The bag body 11 further includes a decoration portion 115 that is disposed an outer wall surface of the bag wall 100 and that cooperates with the knob 236 to form a pattern, such as a cartoon character, etc. After a user winds and then releases the knob 236, the knob 236 will rotate so as to drive the mechanical music device 2 for producing music. Rotation of the knob 236 while music is played can further attract interest in the present invention.

Referring to FIG. 8, a third preferred embodiment of a bag 1 of the present invention is shown to be similar to the first preferred embodiment. The third preferred embodiment differs from the first preferred embodiment in the following aspects. An appearance of the knob 236 is a pattern of a musical notation for decorating the bag 1.

While the present invention has been described in connection with what are considered the most practical and preferred embodiments, it is understood that this invention is not limited to the disclosed embodiments but is intended to cover various arrangements included within the spirit and scope of the broadest interpretation so as to encompass all such modifications and equivalent arrangements.
