Abstract: A protective cleaning sleeve is provided which substantially encloses a portable electronic device and which is configured with a narrowed stretchable cuff/opening made from a material that contacts and cleans the portable electronic device when it is being inserted into and removed from the sleeve. The stretchable cuff/opening is configured with a customized width or diameter narrower than a width of the portable electronic device so that it substantially closes around the portable electronic device and provides sufficient friction and contact with a display screen on the portable electronic device when the portable electronic device is being inserted into the sleeve and removed from the sleeve. In this manner, the narrowed stretchable cuff/opening cleans the display screen to remove fingerprints, smudges, oils, dirt and other particles simply by inserting the device into, and removing the device from the protective cleaning sleeve.

The interactive skin may include one or more flexible layers and may include or be mounted under a transparent display cover layer such as a layer of clear glass or plastic. Interactive skin may include a touch-sensitive layer that allows a user to provide touch input to the wearable. Display pixels on interactive skin may be used to display visual information to the user. The interactive skin may be configured for detecting a condition of at least one wearable and generating an output function in response to the detected condition.

Abstract: A fitness apparatus is described which can be configured to operate both as a bag for carrying and storing exercise equipment and as a fixed anchor to which the exercise equipment can be connected. When operated as a bag, the apparatus can be filled with accessories and attachments that are utilized while performing exercises. These accessories can include, for example, Yoga Ropes, Pilates Springs, or Pulley Ropes. The fitness apparatus is converted to a fixed anchor by unzipping a zipper and turning the bag inside out, thereby exposing straps which are sewn onto the inside of the bag, and wrapping the straps around a door to provide fixed anchor points to which the accessories can be affixed. The purse is formed of an elongated composite fabric structure having an inner sheet and an outer billowed sheet attached together to form, in one embodiment, a generally oval shaped body. A selectively closable pocket is sandwiched between the inner and outer sheets, wherein the pocket is accessible along one edge joining the inner and outer sheets, and wherein the sash may be folded into the pocket to convert the sash into the clutch purse. An alternative embodiment converts from the purse to a stole or scarf having free ends.

The method disclosed herein relates to utilizing text book covers off of books, such as legal treatises and case law books as the primary material for such articles. The text book cover is removed, cleaned, prepared, cut, sewn and glued together to form a purse, handbag, wallet and the like. The result of the disclosed invention is eco-friendly as it takes an old, often discarded item and forms a highly useful and quite stylish “new” article.
