Abstract

A kind of outdoor wind proof umbrella includes an umbrella cover, an umbrella framework, the umbrella cloth center of the umbrella cover which is fixed between the umbrella cap of the umbrella framework and long rib umbrella disk; its feature is that the upper part of the flexible rib and upper part of the main long rib of the umbrella framework is connected and fixed to extend outward to form the long rib, the external side of the umbrella cloth and external side of flexible rib is connected and fixed. The upper side of the flexible rib is used with screw or river to be fixed to the top of main long rib and is extended to external side along the top of main long rib. It can make the umbrella cover automatically move upward to release from the umbrella rib automatically and withdraw automatically, to reach the effect of conquering the unyielding with the yielding and protect the umbrella framework according to the stressing condition of the umbrella cover.

The present application claims the priority of the Chinese patent application No. 200820166827.X filed on Oct. 22, 2008, which application is incorporated herein by reference.

FIELD OF INVENTION

The practical new model relates to a kind of outdoor waterproof umbrella, especially involving the upright umbrella and sunshade umbrella for outdoor relaxation. They can be used in strong wind without being damaged after their umbrella framework is improved, which is suitable for using at beach, court, park and hotel lawn and all the outdoor places for picnic and traveling and stall.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

With the fast development of tourism, as the outdoor relaxation tool, upright umbrella and sunshade umbrella are widely used in relaxation places such as squares, beach, park and court to provide the comfortable spaces for relaxation and joy of coolness.

Currently, if the wind blows at the front of the umbrella top or at the bottom of the umbrella, all the umbrella ribs will be easily bended or broken under this strong wind and its function will be lost and damaged. This is because the existing cloth of umbrella cover is directly fixed to the main long rib. When the umbrella cover is opened for use, the umbrella cover and umbrella stand form an integral part. If the strong wind blows to the umbrella cover, it means that the strong thing will hit the strong thing, and the damaging is inevitable.

In respect of “wind proof umbrella” with Chinese Application Patent Number of 93244398.2, when its cover is blown down by the strong wind, the normal umbrella shutting down mode can be used to pull down the lower framework and the umbrella cover can be automatically returned to normal closing status, whose feature is to use a straight elastic steel wire with relatively short diameter to form the tension rib to roll the two sides from down to up to form a circular ring, which serves as its joint to hold the tip binding at the curved point of circular arc umbrella cover, forming the tension rib of four-cornered structural unit to make it be naturally bended inside and brought into the groove of main rib, therefore, the effect can be achieved that when the lower framework is pulled down, the umbrella rib is recovered and it is closed normally. Its flaw is that the structure of the umbrella rib is complicated and not convenient for manufacturing and production.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The technical problem needs to be solved by this utility model is to provide the outdoor windproof umbrella with reasonable structure and easy for manufacturing and it can make the umbrella cover automatically move upward to release from the umbrella rib automatically and withdraw automatically, reaching the effect of conquering the unyielding with the yielding and protecting the umbrella framework according to the stressing condition of the umbrella cover.

The technical plans adopted by the utility model for solving the technical problems mentioned above is: a kind of outdoor wind proof umbrella, including an umbrella cover, an umbrella framework, which, as the umbrella cloth center of the umbrella cover, is fixed between the umbrella cap of the umbrella framework and long rib umbrella disk. Its feature is that the upper part of the flexible rib and upper part of the main long rib of the umbrella framework is connected and fixed, and extend outward to form the long rib. The external side of the umbrella cloth and external end of flexible rib is connected and fixed.

As the improvement, the screw or rivet is used to fix the upper part of the flexible rib on the top surface of main long rib and is extended to the external side along the top surface of the main long rib, which is easy for manufacturing and can be used like the traditional umbrella framework. The efficient improvement is that there will be fasteners which can slide up and down, or the fixed fasteners on the muff-coupling connection between the flexible rib and main long rib to prevent the flexible rib from swinging and to increase the stability of the umbrella. It will also make the flexible rib on the main long rib straight and the umbrella cover will be more beautiful. In particular, the fastener can slide up and down to adjust the wind proof ability of umbrella rib.

As the priority, the fastener mentioned above is U shaped buckle. As the improvement, the piece for blocking the cloth will be set on the external side of the main long rib mentioned above to prevent the dislocated falling of the flexible rib after the umbrella cover and flexible rib is connected, to make the flexible rib of the main long rib straight and the umbrella cover more beautiful.

As the further improvement, more than one auxiliary flexible rib will be set on the mouth part of the main long rib; the flexible rib and auxiliary flexible rib will form the overlapped stairs to be staggered to reach the effect of increasing the general intensity of the umbrella cover and flexible rib.

As the priority, the material of the flexible rib and auxiliary flexible rib mentioned above is the glass fiber rib or steel wire. The shape of rectangle, square, trapezoid, triangle or the round is adopted on the rib's cut section.

Finally, the stand of outdoor upright umbrella or outdoor sunshade umbrella is used for the umbrella framework mentioned above. The umbrella framework includes the long rib umbrella disk and the sliding short rib umbrella disk set at the middle part of the upright post of the umbrella. One umbrella cap is set on the long rib umbrella disk, one side of the main long rib supporting the umbrella cover is actively connected with the long rib umbrella disk and the one side of the supporting short rib supporting the main long rib is actively connected with the umbrella disk of sliding short rib, and screw or rivet is used to hinge the other side to the retainer of main long rib fixed at the middle of the main long rib.

Compared to the existing technology, the advantage of the utility model is: The flexible rib of the long rib and main long rib is connected by use of rivet or U shape buckle. The length of the flexible rib can be freely set according to the stressing of the umbrella cover, which will increase the pressure resistance ability and service life of the umbrella framework greatly. The overall structure is reasonable and practical, which makes the umbrella framework and umbrella cover easy for manufacturing and assembling. The umbrella framework of the utility model is especially suitable for using in the weather of strong wind.

As it is shown in drawing 3, the outdoor wind proof umbrella includes umbrella cover, umbrella framework, which, as the center of the umbrella cloth of the umbrella cover, is fixed between the umbrella cap of the umbrella framework and umbrella disk of long rib. The long rib umbrella disk 10 is fixed to the top of upright post of umbrella, and the sliding short rib umbrella disk 11 is set on the middle part of upright pole 12 of the umbrella. In which, one side of flexible rib 5 is fixed by rivet or screw 15 on the upper part of main long rib 1 and is extended to external side along the top of main long rib to form the long rib and at the same time, piece for blocking the cloth 2 is set on the external side of the main long rib 1. In order to increase the general intensity of umbrella cover and flexible rib, more than one auxiliary flexible rib will be set on the mouth part of the main long rib 1; the flexible rib and auxiliary flexible rib will form the overlapped stairs to be staggered. As it is shown in drawing 7, main long rib 1 can combine with the auxiliary flexible rib 3′, 3, 18 to form the shape of overlapped stairs. The flexible rib 5 is fixed under U shape fastener 4, which can be set as the fixed or sliding part. U shape fastener 4 can be stuck at two sides of flexible rib 5, which can prevent the flexible rib from swinging and can increase the stability of umbrella and will make the flexible rib of the main long rib 1 straight and the umbrella cover more beautiful. The piece for blocking the cloth 2 is fixed on the other side of main long rib 1 and fixed long rib umbrella disk 10, which can prevent the flexible rib 5 from dislocated falling after the umbrella cover 17 and flexible rib 5 is connected, and can make main long rib 1 and flexible rib 5 straight and the umbrella cover more beautiful. The material of the flexible rib 5 and auxiliary flexible rib is the glass fiber rib or steel wire. The shape of rectangle, square, trapezoid, triangle or the round is adopted on the rib's cut section. Outdoor upright umbrella stand or outdoor sunshade umbrella stand is adopted for the umbrella framework.

When the umbrella framework is in status of closing, main long rib 1 and flexible rib 5 and short rib 6 and upright post of umbrella 12 are close to vertical line so that the packing size of the umbrella will not increase. When the umbrella framework is pushed open, shown as in drawing 1 and drawing 6, the flexible rib 5 will be pushed open with main long rib 1 and umbrella cover 17 will be in muff coupling with flexible rib 5 overlapped on the main long rib 1. This structure can reduce the possibility that the main long rib 1 will be bended for transformation or broken due to the external force. Especially when the wind is exerted on umbrella cover 17 from inside to outside to make the framework turn outward, the umbrella cover 17 can bring the overlapped flexible rib 5 of main long rib 1 to extend to certain degree, (as shown in drawing 4). So when the wind blows in front of the top of umbrella or blows at the bottom side, the umbrella rib is flexibly bended and will not be broken, which can reach the effect of wind proof.

Claims

1. An outdoor wind proof umbrella comprising:

an umbrella cover;

an umbrella framework;

an umbrella cloth center of the umbrella cover is fixed between an umbrella cap of the umbrella framework and a long rib umbrella disk;

its feature is that an upper part of an flexible rib and an upper part of a main long rib of the umbrella framework is connected and fixed to extend outward to form the long rib;

an external side of the umbrella cloth and an external side of the flexible rib is connected and fixed.

2. The outdoor wind proof umbrella according to claim 1, wherein the upper part of the flexible rib is fixed on a top of the main long rib by screws or rivets and is extended to external side along the top of the main long rib.

3. The outdoor wind proof umbrella according to claim 2,wherein the umbrella framework includes a fastener which can slide up and down or a fastener fixed on a muff coupling connection between the flexible rib and the main long rib.

4. The outdoor wind proof umbrella according to claim 3, wherein the fastener is U shape buckle.

5. The outdoor wind proof umbrella according to claim 3, wherein the umbrella framework includes a piece for blocking the cloth, which is set on the external side of the main long rib.

6. The outdoor wind proof umbrella according to claim 5, wherein more than one auxiliary flexible rib are set on a mouth part of the main long rib, the flexible rib and the auxiliary flexible ribs form overlapped stairs which can be dislocated.

7. The outdoor wind proof umbrella according to claim 6, wherein a material of the flexible rib and auxiliary flexible ribs is glass fiber rib or steel wire; a cross section of the flexible rib and auxiliary flexible ribs is rectangle, square, trapezoid, triangle or the round.

8. The outdoor wind proof umbrella according to claim 7, wherein the umbrella framework adopts an outdoor upright umbrella stand or an outdoor sunshade umbrella stand.

The outdoor wind proof umbrella according to claim 1, wherein the umbrella framework comprises a long rib umbrella disk, a sliding short rib umbrella disk set at a middle part of an upright post of the umbrella, there is the umbrella cap on the long rib umbrella disk, one side of the main long rib supporting the umbrella cover is connected with long rib umbrella disk in turnable, while one side of a short rib supporting the main long rib is in actively connected to a sliding short rib umbrella disk, the other side of the short rib hinges the main long rib retainer at a middle part of the main long rib by a screw or rivet.
